This thread was started because I feel there could be something to this book, Book Of Aquarius.

Chapters 3 - 17 cover the theory of alchemy.

Chapters 32 - 46 cover the history of the Stone.
Chapters 47 - 48 cover some more philosophical topics.
Chapter 49 is the alchemists' prophecy.
Chapter 50 is the afterword.
Chapter 51 is the bibliography."

I just discovered this book. I found it fascinating and plausible; I have studied the occult for many years and have read some of the works the author cites. I never could crack the riddle of what the substance was. This makes much more sense to me than the whole white powder gold thing.

I have only briefly skimmed through it, but what I read of it is consistent with my alchemical knowledge. I disagree with his definition of alchemy, but I guess that's as much about opinion as fact.

Just want to say I did enjoy their forum and the visual aids with the member's progress was exceptional. I do hope it returns to being online soon. If not make sure you have downloaded and printed a copy of this interesting book on how to make a philosopher's stone.
