    - Muse giving a shout-out to the Illuminati @ The 2011 Grammys 20 secs in.... judging by the lyrics and Muse I think they are against the Illuminati/PTB =).

They're on the side of good my friend.... Plus they're one of my favourite bands! Superb.

A few years ago, they were interviewed by Alex Jones, they're advocates of the alternative media.

Have a listen to their latest album 'The Resistance', especially 'Uprising' & 'United States of Eurasia'.

If you listen to 'United States...', listen to the album version if you can - it finishes with a wonderful Chopin piano solo... They don't seem to play this on their live concerts.

(I'm also a big admirer of Chopin )

I bought a U2 ipod when they first came out and I had thousands of songs on it. I always listened to a lot of music.. and one day I got so overwhelmed by the overload of song-choice that I gave the ipod away and since then I rarely listen to music. I really prefer the silence, but you've actually made me realise that I'm missing out a lot. I forgot how uplifting music can be.

    Thank you Devilpigeon!

Well, I can't really take the credit for that, but I thank you humbly never-the-less...! Think of it as fate if you like, a series of linked events... You posted a vid that tied in with HAARP, asked whether the band were good/bad because of the title etc etc... One thing led to another & now you're a fan! It was meant to be!

One bit of advice - seeing as you're really really happy with music right now, I'd strongly advise against listening to 'Exit Music (for a film)' by Radiohead....

(Radiohead are also one of my fave artists, btw!!!)

    Muse are avid conspiracy theorists.

They have one song that made it into guitar hero called "Knights of Cydonia"

Cydonia is the "city" on mars that Richard Hoagland talks about all the time.

I listened to a lot of their songs in the last half hour and they really have a brilliant message in their music.

How have they been allowed to become successful? Some of their videos on youtube have had millions of hits.

    Good on them:

"Chris Wolstenholme, bassist for Muse, is a bit upset with the band’s record label. Warner Music will no longer license Muse’s, and several other artists’, music on free streaming services such as Spotify.

Warner Music CEO, Edgar Bromfman, stated earlier this month, “free streaming services are clearly not positive for the industry.” Wait, but suing your fans and consumers is a positive for the industry?

Wolstenholme countered with, “it’s like taking your song off the radio, isn’t it? The corporations are setting rules on these things because they’re clutching at the straws. They’ve lost so much money on record sales because of the internet.” He then added, “as far as bands are concerned, you just want people to hear your music whichever way they can.”

And now my take? When our generation take hold of CEO positions, and the like, I wonder if things will be different? Will be understand the market a bit better because we’re currently living through it? I understand there needs to be money made to sustain these companies and artists, but I also understand that there has been change underway. Turning your back towards change isn’t the solution."

The problem is that the corporate world is focussed totally on making cash profit - either you do & thrive or you don't and dive.

I reckon that a lot of the people who are now in CEO type positions, having worked their way up literally from the grass-roots level, have good intentions. But the higher you go, the more pressure there is to ensure that money is the driving factor, it's the way of the world. I can't see that changing anytime soon, unless somehow the current money system became obsolete...

I haven't been much of a fan of new music since the mid 90's or so, but Muse's song uprising is an anthem for this age of "we've had enough".

    Cheers,
