Re: censorship in avalon?
A thread was removed just now.
I have contacted the moderator involved in private and received a most unsatisfactory reply.
I requested arbitration by another moderator.
We have some imbalance here.
Would another moderator please step forward to assist with this?

Re: censorship in avalon?
I closed one thread of yrs for inciting a feeding fest against a member.....Another mod closed & moved yr second attempt at making an issue
and now you are posting a third thread on the same issue.....it really leads to the conclusion that you are far more interested in controversy than being in compassion with your fellow members......Don't be surprised if this one gets closed & moved as well.....: )

Re: censorship in avalon?
hi VM
i think he was just given some time to reflect on many hints and warnings (i believe) he chose to ignore - not about what he put but how he put it...it happened as i was exchanging lines with him on this thread:
http://projectavalon.net/forum4/show...ned-..../page2
as you will see, sam was probably on his best behaviour there, so it has to be something else elsewhere...maybe because it sounded a bit as he was promoting a remedy by his colleague...

Well before it does, let me disagree with you.
You still havent answered what it means to be in the mists.
I have no desire to be dispassionate towards fellow members, and you are talking about sam here, i have supported him throughout, hardly a lack of compassion.
banning him, on the other hand is compassionate?
my posts are valid, you still havent explained whats going on.

Re: censorship in avalon?
Samarkis.
Please step aside on this issue.
I will accept the judgment of another mod.
I fear in this case, you are not having a good day.
Both Vidya Moksha and I started the thread out of concern for Sam's status on this board.
I have stated this to you in a private message, yet you continue to interpret our messages as negative.
One thing you ARE right about: THIS thread IS negative - it questions the moderation our concern for Sam's status received, followed by a deletion of a thread that followed the closed one.
Please stand aside and I'll accept the judgment of another. And no apology is necessary, as someone recently told me.

Where did Sam go?
And why is asking that question to be moderated to the point where threads about it get deleted?

Re: censorship in avalon?
Forget personalities here.
we all have scorecards now about our behaviour? what's that about
YOU STILL HAVENT SAID IN OPEN FORUM what it means to be in the mists... why wont you take the simple step of doing this?
blocking and deleting posts is a sure way of getting attention... we want to know why

Re: censorship in avalon?
Vidya....1st of all ....this is not an open forum(We are open minded.....but this is not a behavioral free for all)...it is an invitation only and according to guidelines of higher behavior......it can be rescinded if we deem it causes issues.....and that does include possibly you .......There are other mods here on at the moment and it is being discussed.....(@ threads etc, closing) You cannot pick & choose yr mods......
Now, in the mists is a term we use for a cooling off period and we have been debating to call it something else....however it is temporary if the person watches their behavior....Members are to behave as guests.....and I can tell you, I don't think I'd invite people that cause controversy instead of PM'ing a mod @ an issue that bothers one......especially when it's not your issue (it is another member's issue)
In Light!
