What is the Crown Chakra ? how to open it up...

The one that connects you to higher energies, to the Source.

I started this thread as for a long time I have wanted to tell how important it is to
"protect " your own crown chakra on the top of your head,

choose your HAIRDRESSER very carefully if you are not doing your own hair.
(or not wearing a hat like Bill Ryan does !)

I have cut and colored my own and my children's hair for five years,
as I got headaches from my hairdresser, and afterwards felt nauseous.

Do you think the nausea and headpain is an effect from you maybe have a large sphere of "personal space"?

I find it uncomfortable having a being with a pair of scissors near my throat breathing down my neck for sure! Though i have given the hairdresser permission to "enter my space" in the first place.

But if youre saying that you think having the wrong hairdresser can be damaging to your crown chakra... well that seems silly to me, at first thought - I'm puzzled how you came to that idea?

You are in control of your own protection, allowing a hairdresser to work on you shouldn't affect you in any way if you are clear in your visualization of protection. it is good to be concerned about any energies affecting you from those you allow into your space but with careful control you shouldn't be affected by it.

two chakras connect you directly to your higher energies - higher self, and to the Source: the Crown and the Heart chakra...

OK, I explain,
when you get more AWARE, more sensitive, oversensitive like me
(I am partly psychic) your energies, vibrations shift to more subtle form,
and you become more aware of your own energyfield, aura, as you are able to read other people's mind, feel their thoughts...

and then someone is messing with your hair and crown chakra, putting there their
own energies, which feels quite unpleasant, (especially if their energies are much lowers).

Its is the same with any other part of the body, massage etc.

and without even mentioning sleeping with someone...

(p.s. all through my teenage years till I was a young adult I had a "spiritually gifted" hairdresser, Anne-mari like me,
she married a man from Switzerland, and when visiting his homeland she remembered her own past life there.
Sometimes while she was doing my hair we talked about those kind of things, and I always felt that she did my hair very nice way,
I guess partly due her uplifting energyfield...)

im not sure i understand this post. Do you want techniques to open the crown chakra? or do you have yours open and want to tell us to be careful?

it is good to be concerned about any energies affecting you from those you allow into your space but with careful control you shouldn't be affected by it.

It is quite tiring to be on guard all the time,
though with power of mind you can eat iron nails, walk through hell without any damage.

it is not always about allowing people into your space, but also walking through spaces where are lot of people, since my children were small I have taught them to protect themselves in crowed places (railway stations etc.) and clear the energies while walking through.
(In our travels we have been in most unpleasant, even dangerous places unharmed.

Dirty thoughts are quite material, sticky.
(have you ever seen dark thought forms ? they are quite real.)

My crown chakra is hot at times...(laugh) very open.

Yes,
I see that many on this forum are in the process of opening their crown chakra (even wider)
as the energies are shifting quite dramatically this summer,

and they may not be quite aware how easily one may shift from one extreme to another,
when getting more sensitive, aware, ( emotionally)

or be affected by other's energies, (attacks from negative forces).

If you see that someone has dirty hands would you let that person to touch your hair,
your crown chakra ?

If you see and feel energies, the denser energies feel "dirty" very physical way.

I prefer to avoid that contact insted using protection.

One way to cleanse your whole energy field is to have a quick shower, making sure the water comes down from above your oversoul point (about six inches above the centre of your head). I find it's a great idea to do this every night, if possible, before you go to sleep. That way you won't carry much of the day's emotional junk with you when you're sleeping. The flowing water balances out your energy field. (However, a brief shower is better for your health, because the chlorine in that water ain't good for you.)

The people here in UK are very dirty, literally, they do not shower as we (finns) do.

( I had a friend, a man, who was a manager in investement bank, a very mean person,
married for money, and slept with his rich clients, and every evening he headed for pub to hear good tips...so, when he finally came home from the work he felt so dirty that he spent sometimes two an half hours in the shower ! )

and if you cannot have physical shower, imagine, visualize yourself having a "spiritual" shower,
or go out and let the sun clean your aura...(if the sun happens to shine...)

Saves water as well....better for the envirement. It is really bad for your skin and hair to take soapy hot showers every day

If the water is Ok, you can shower everyday. BUT there are theories going around on the net that the increase of cancer is coming from taking showers everyday with bad quality water........

And I use even at home.
The summer makes my hair blonde, but during the winter I do put all kind of
chemicals in my head, (as the roots are so dark.),

(though I just found lovely organic manuka honey shampoo,
and I will try egyptian henna for my daughter's red hair as we are in a process of trying to get rid of all the chemicals in her hair)

Yes, the normal tap water is not good for anyone's skin.

As I mentioned before the finns are little bit funny with all that showering and sauna business,
but they live in country with tens of thousands lakes, clean water sources.

As you know the sauna is not just for physical cleaning...that is the only thing that I miss.

annemirri have you tried using henna to dye your hair?

now im going to blush here but i have made a crown of moldavite (many years ago) for ritual use, and it worked a treat! friends have borrowed it to help to open their crown charkras with success, one wore it to bed and had the stongest lucid dreams. i however have found that if the crown chakra is a bit sluggish to open (times of stress etc) then using a particular singing bowl helps , i love the feeling of connectivness and knowing, that happens when its open. any one read 'fire in the head' interesting book!

and yes always bring the energy down thought crown down to root and out into the planet, that way one is sending healing to gaia and by product is a good cleansing for oneself......without effort!

I am not that good in saving water business,
as I love water too much,
I lived my childhood in a country where we never needed to save water,
as it it was everywhere, and it was CLEAN, you could drink the water in the lakes and rivers.

As humans we need water, not just to drink, but to vitalize our bodies and minds,
relax the nerves...

What comes from the nature should not make the nature dirty, (and one does not need to use the soap everyday.)

Moldavite is the most powerful stone, or a piece of rock, to connect to the stars.
One should be careful with it, start slowly, little steps.

How would I induce the most painful death for myself ?
by drinking some crystal energized water, putting a moldavite under my pillow, listening some crystal bowl high pitched noises, smoking some spiritual herbs ...

I am serious here, those are very powerful ways to sensitize the aurafield, open the crown chakra, and I am extremely sensitive to all of those, unlike my daughter who seems to be sleeping rosecrystal or piece of amethyst under her pillow. (need to spy on her more...)

You tell em Swanny , I shower every day sometimes twice depending on what I've been up to , if you get me drift tehe .
