2) Out of context, cry me a river banning drivel. Last I saw Chico, there were nearly 600 posts about this on that (*) name calling (*) thread at the house next door. Is that not enough for ya bro?

Nobody in Avalon is banned for revealing their own personal truths, People are banned for having NO respect for other souls, using childish playground tactics attacking others by name calling, and in a very few cases using threatning behaviour. I think lessons of respect are slowly being learned. All is good in Avalon

Maybe for everyone's "peace of mind" we should pick a few deleted posts and take a poll about whether they are in fact "revelations of personal truths" or "show no respect for other souls, using childish playground tactics attacking others by name calling, and in a very few cases using threatening behavior".

I believe a good example to start with would be Bashi's deleted post to Inelia's thread that got him banned for a month.

Given the highly sensitive nature of the information passinglight claims to have in his possession, I think it's only reasonable that we give him the opportunity to divulge that information in his own way and in his own time.

I'd also suggest that it's perfectly acceptable for someoone who intends to make such a disclosure to "test the waters" a little first before jumping into what will undoubtedly become a VERY hot topic here at PA.

If I was in passinglight's shoes, I too would be taking a some time to carefully consider my options as well as the potential consequences of taking such a proverbial leap of faith.

All I'm suggesting is that we cut him some slack and just chill for a bit!

After all, he is a human being like any of us and I'm sure right now he's probably feeling a little apprehensive... especially given that so many here are demanding he "gets on with it" and spillss his guts immediately.

Patience and understanding are what's required here and if all goes well I'm sure, when he's ready, passinglight will do his thing.
