Can anyone throw any light on what is going on here?
FORT WORTH -- Fire and police dispatchers were busy Tuesday night answering calls about "fireballs" in the sky and on the ground in east Fort Worth.
Several transformers were struck by lightning in east Fort Worth Tuesday night, Oncor spokeswoman Jeamy Molina said.

What are these lights? What do they mean?
Hey guys,
I found this video on Youtube - I don't know what city it is. It shows a play of light - concert like, but there is no concert! No claps, no cheers, no base sounds - yet there are birds chirping and its NIGHT!
Did anyone see this? What is it? Project blue beam? Some sort of 'communication' attempt? ...Also notice the light dot - ufoishlike - floating in the air as the lights go...

They look like teleportation flashes based on my fascination with Star trek.

I heard that they are a magnetic anomaly. Other than that I have not got a clue. They're quite beautiful though.

These are amazing. There seems to be more smaller lights in the sky above them too..I would love to find out more about these.

I used to work for a Norwegian Power Company years ago, where my dad was the boss.
I have seen Power Transformers blow out a few times, and it has never looked like that.
I have no idea what it is.
But it isn't power-transformers being hit by lightning.

...But it can't be the aurora - that is ON the sky ---this is from somewhere on land and flashing from different angles of the landscape as well.

That is swamp gas.
Or maybe weather balloons deflating...

And if it was power-transformers being blown-out...why is there still power to the entire area?

It was the British Army providing a live demo on utilising internal bacterial removal as a field weapon - a weapon devised in Bradford, UK, and quite ingeniously.... based on highly unstable take-away food.
This simple procedure is extremely cost efficient, merely requiring the squadie to intake; chicken vindaloo, Heinz beans, and eleventeen pints of bitter (or Guinness, lager or cider, depending on colour of muzzle-flash required), then in an urgent manner:
1. Aim said squadie's release mechanism at the enemy
2. Swift underwear removal
3. Ignite released gaseous bacteria diffusion (avoiding potential fall-out)
It should also be noted that this, typically British (errr, cheap) cutting-edge modern warfare methodology has proven to be an extremely useful recruitment tool.

Seriously? The lights above the ground seem to be connected, and as a few have said already, no way it's power-transformers blowing out or lightning. Intriguing indeedy....

Anyone see anything from Dutchsensie (sp?) on this? He was tracking 'scalar square' formations about then. The 'show' I saw was a bit further north but maybe he saw some over this area too.
