Looks to be the size of Belgium too.

I'm not sure about these google earth/sky programs though.
There's so much planted "goofy" stuff on them already.

I looked it up in googlemaps, and it does look interesting.
If only I had a a boatload of cash, I'd go check it out personally.

Would be interesting to see if anyone else has anything on this.

Google claims that these lines are due to some sort of sonar mapping grid when mapping the ocean floor. But one has to wonder if the “Official” explanation holds any truth.

Atlantis experts said that the unexplained grid is located at one of the possible sites of the legendary island, which was described by the ancient Greek philosopher Platon.

Hi Gaia yes its very interesting one of the speculative sites for Atlantis is in that area, beyond the pillars of Hercules Spain and North Africa. It has been suggested a ancient continent existed in the Atlantic eons ago.
The Islands still visible the Canaries, Madierra , Cape Verdi and possibly as far over as Bermuda are highest points left of the former continant.
The grid lines look like street lines similar to those you get from airial photos of crop marks that show where old town & villages were etc. ( I Watch Time Team every week )
By coincidence yesterday I posted something almost identicle on ....Gigha thread... Obvious buildings on Mars.
Take a look on the u Tube clip I saw a similar grid only bigger , It stands out like a sore thumb to me, yet most of the others don't seem to see anything only distortion.
Maybe it is because I,m used to seeing them on documentries ...cheers Steve
P.s. I still don't know how to link even though I've been to the 'sand pit' If you put in U tube possible sites of Atlantis I'm sure it will come up.....

    Hi Gaia,

Just looked at the site again on my iPhone. Thought I would look around for anything similar. Headed West and eventually found something really quite interesting. Looks too me like possible large buildings and towers?

I'm not near a computer at the mo, so not sure how to get the co-ordinates from my phone.

I will post a reference when I'm back on my computer.

    Love and Truth,

    Amenjo

Yes, I have had this on my google earth for some time over 2 years now there are some more places of interest though...

would like to know more about this and others... we need to search deeper... and keep those looking for fame out of the loop... so we don't get twisted stories from their point a view.. as happens so often...

With all the mysteries of Perou, it would be stupid to deny the possiblities of underwater ruins and other buildings or cities even. Remember people did not believe the Nazca lines in Perou. They were discovered because of the airplanes. Once people could fly, the Nazca lines were discovered when people started flying over them.

Sunken city. They have been found before. Mankind's story as we are told it is false.

Take the projected map of the US which has been posted on another thread.

    Hi Gaia,

Sorry, this is first time I have had a chance to get back on my computer.

Here is the image that I was looking at on Google Maps the other day. Looks to me like some kind of structures, not sure if they are Hyperthermic Vents or something like that, but looks rather interesting anyway.

Paste this into the Google Maps search bar to find the location.

Something I find interesting is when you zoom in on this site to pixel focus you notice that Google's rendering software has rendered the area with pyramid shapes not the usual blocks. If you zoom in then out until you see the rendering sections you will see what I mean.... now that does make me a little sus...so to speak. thanks for the post , it got the brain cells wondering in other directions....

It certainly doesn't look like any other structure that is around the area, I had a good old scan around but I can't find anything else like it.

    Very strange.

Very interesting and mysterious. I first saw that formation 2 or 3 years ago when I was searching for Atlantis.

The entire earth is covered with extremely ancient habitats, both on the ocean floor, on the ocean seamounts, and hidden in obscure jungle locations. Whether Google Earth uses visual images, or radar images, or side scanning sonar, the habitat evidence is overwhelming. The Piri Reis map found in 1513, based on Google Earth underwater radar images, I am proposing that the original Piri Reis map is based on 10,000 year old information, much older than anyone has given it credit for. My idea: The Piri Reis map started out as a land-based map, showing highways in what is now the bottom of the ocean. The Piri Reis map must have started life as an ancient road map for terrestrial travel (Pre-flood ice age) then became an ancient navigational map for sailing purposes, while always being a mythology map synchronizing ancient legends. To me most of all, the Piri Reis Map is a treasure map of hundreds of millions of people’s lives who have disappeared in time, that have no known records of their existence until now.

"Graham Hancock says this discovery proves scientists should be more open-minded. “I have argued for many years that the world’s flood myths deserve to be taken seriously, a view that most Western academics reject “

Just a quick update on the site I found early in the year on google maps, if you go to the same site now it's been scrubbed, looks like a very bad photoshop job.

    Very interesting
