I think we need more protest and less complacency in Australia. Perhaps we are lazy or perhaps we have much less to protest about compared with other countries.

I will have to disagree ... the people of the planet are not waking up. They are reacting to oppression and not to who is doing it. The majority of the humans in this planet are still pretty much sleeping and accepting what ever they are told like in a dream state. The dictatorship is going public and they are saying ... it was always like this ... its to protect us ... we cant do anything about it.. and then what does the TV have now ... good

This is the majority of western society humans. I cant tell about china/russia etc but i am sure they are similar. People are reacting to 10 % oppression so the PTB take one step back to 8% and we relax thinkign we won then they take us 10% more etc etc etc... NOW tho they go 50% and we just dont feel comfortable so we react. THATS IT ... nothing more no waking up no spirituality no nothing.

i have been getting hit lately with realizations and the reality i see around me is so bad that i lost the will to even try to act. Things are burning down all around us and we look at our small little bubbles and smile. You think we are awake?

I am a constitutionalist yet I believe in capitolism moderated with social programs.... I also believe that the mega rich should pay more for their prividlege of wealth into social programs... not war machine.
the thing with the teabaggers is that they have been backed by the two faced war mongering military industrial complex neocons.

and the other problem with teabaggers is that they have backed the Iraq war... but of course, those who back them back war.

Unfortunately, I pretty much agree with Etherios. As jobs are scarce where I live, it's not unusual to be working 10 1/2 hours or more a day at slave wages, and w/o a break of any sort. And this is not at the hand of some big corporation. On the opposite end of the spectrum are the underemployed. Either way, it's no health insurance, and the prospect of asking a panel for permission to be treated; having to see a doctor's assistant prior to being allowed to see a doctor, etc...

The pressure one feels, when competeing with countless others vieing for the same position is relentless. And the way people treat each other in this sort of situation is sad at best. This isn't waking up, this is reacting to current unsustainable conditions.

P.S. Plant a fruit tree for life.

I think that discomfort is always the catalyst for 'wakeup' but yes, the system has tightenend around people while they have been asleep, so it is very difficult to fight while so restricted.

The worst restriction is debt. Never, never, purchase a house, car, or toothbrush you can't pay for. That is the trap.

We sold our home that had a mortgage on it and we rent. We have way more disposible income and no debt and I feel not the slightest bit of insecurity in fact I feel free.

It's a brainwashing delusion to think that buying a home gives you security. The only people who get security from your mortgage are the banks - period.

Mortgage = enslavement and that is the way they want to keep it.

For those of us who are too poor to mortgage or rent, we must band together, pool resources, keep communication with each other open so as not to be isolated and then to organise revolution.

We will be forever trapped till we do.

New leadership is needed and will become a reality this year, 2011. These shortages will end, they have kept us in slavery. I am a renter, too, and gained some freedom. The system has been rigged against us. The old politicians will be replaced by popular demand with people who actually work for us. What a breath of fresh air that will bring.

Many of our current leadership including judges and many others will be arrested for their crimes against us and humanity. A new financial system waits in the wings to come forth, as soon as we can let this one go, and stop supporting the built-in injustices and bias. We need to stop participating in it and also through fear energizing and enabling it to linger.

Let it go and once gone; this is the greatest news for all of us that could possibly happen. We will get our freedoms back.

May these changes come as smoothly, and gently, as possible but come they will and that's for certain ~ there is no stopping these changes now. Let the old systems including financial fall away ~ as they are no longer viable and have fallen due to their own greed and excesses. For the Elites, their day has truly ended and we are watching this realization touch every corner of the world. Three cheers!
Ep 6:12: For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." Even so, let your light shine and keep it real...

    .
You know this is only true for some of the people some of the time. Owning a home brought us freedom, paying a mortage brought us freedom. Now we are debt free and own a new house that we are building ourselves.... I know quite a few people actually who got free by utilizing the mortage system. Ditto for my mother. Ditto for my mother in law. Ditto for my sister in law. Ditto for my brother and my brother in law. It all depends on luck, how you play the game and how the financial markets go.

Many people go into the mortage thing and make bad investments... sign on to bad mortage plans, have unstable work, and just get sucker punched because they don't know what they are doing and they trusted financial institutions to make things right for them.. they trusted in the wrong person instead of using intelligence and education. Many of the mortage woes Ive seen reports my husband and I just shake our heads and wonder how anyone could possibly be so stupid to get into what they got themselves into. It is always Buyer beware.

Real security comes when you own property and can pass it on to the next generation. That is when real wealth building can begin for the common man.

Arrowwind I think the mortgage thing works if you can buy cheap. In Australia the most basic one bedroom units are around $200,000 and from there up. Our wages are higher than in the US but not high enough to justify a $400,000 plus mortgage.

As far as leaving houses to your children .... hmmm have seen some great family feuds spring from that. I'd prefer to leave my children cash.

There is another kind of revolution happening called the Zeitgeist movement. I don't know anyone personally who is in it, but there are hundreds and thousands of followers of this "philosophy" - the off shoot also being the Venus Project - planning for modular sustainable cities etc.

Anyway the Zeitgeist option is well worth considering. I'm looking for people in Australia who are seriously doing it so I can find out what its practical applications are.

Watched your video,s of all kinds of people, peaceful for the most part, protesting all over the world.
It warms my soul, to see people protesting against oppressive governments.

I think "People Power" must be a funny joke among the elite.

I don't trust all these so called revolutions to deliver anything but a tightening of a more global grip.

Just WHO? are the new people taking power in these countries. Who do they owe their allegiances to?

According to Pastor Lindsey Williams the "Muslim Brotherhood" have been 'promised' temporary power in all the countries that fall.

I think the elite believe they have created such zombies of the general public that it's now time to unleash "people power" as the next stage of the process. It's the availability of newer technology that has allowed a shift from the old propped up regimes to a global zombie police state.

What the little people might see as a 'good' levelling of the power structures is really a coordinated removal of the last obstacles to a one world order.

Both intellectually and emotionally, the vast majority of people actually WANT some kind of one world society. It comes from a desire to make peace and harmony. That willingness to break down the things they see as standing in the way is exactly what the elite intend to exploit all the way up to the wire. It's "Bait and Switch".

As the people do the levelling, the elite will orchestrate the environmental factors to 'slowly slowly catchy monkey'. Most of the revolutionists are counting on such things either remaining stable or are hopeful that they will improve. All the elite have to do is chose opportunities to cut a support bolt here and a tie rope there etc and generally lower the whole situation down into a complete check-mate.

I'm not saying I'm completely pessimistic about where things are going but people have got to wise up from the state of play as it is right now.

affluent, and complacent because of this-we have no need of radical political consciousness because the traditional motivator of the 'Peasant' to revolt-that being
hunger and overt oppression- are just not in evidence to the 'average' Bruce & Shirlene with their 2 kids-we are duped by our relative 'wealth'-there is a alternative
'paradigm' in Australia , but it will take much longer to lead to a true 'Wakeup' because of our hypnotic trance of materialism.

i have been getting hit lately with realizations and the reality i see around me is so bad that i lost the will to even try to act. Things are burning down all around us and we look at our small little bubbles and smile. You think we are awake?
Never lose the will to act! Our giving up is the final act in this awful play the PTB have been putting on for us... Take action...make posters...join a protest...help a neighbour (just help don't try and wake them up. I find people learn best when they approach you concerning a subject)... But never give up.

Care to point me in the info you have to be so positive about this?

Mad Hatter dons his ten gallon devils advocate hat,

Nature abhors a vacuum... so lets just assume for a minute the entire house of cards really does collapses... what then?

Are the Zeitgeist movement the Venus project or the Love police in any way ready for the for the potential onslaught of panicked millions

Seems to me more like the orchestration of a problem awaiting a ready made military solution....

So what are the odds on positive vibes from all those farcebook* keyboard warriors saving the day?

Putting aside the fact that it is a preposturously monumental problem, are there realistic solutions... anyone..?.

Personally I think it is time we all peacefully gave up on mass... our consent to be governed by these scumbags, that is !!

9/9/2011 seems as good a day as any... i'm ready, are you??

*I often wonder how many of the people who use that program realise it was written out of sheer mysoginistic spite which turned the nerd who wrote into a billionaire and I can't for the life of me understand why people continue to patronise a cretin like that!!

I say, in my profile I have chosen to remain silent with posting, not including responding to threads I have started, PMs or chat; one stated reason being, "there is only so many times one can give answer (or share a thought) before it simply becomes an exercise of redundancy".

However, this thread I make exception, this one time during my time of silence. I do so as there are "new people" in the forum and thus words not being redundant at all.

    I say in brief...

What measure are protests when the "triumphs" have been the mask of truth; for no passive resistance, peaceful demonstration or even acts of aggression have been successful.

How can one (or the many) take back that which does not belong to them!? How can one (or the many) change that which they did not create!? Would not these acts by one and the many be theft and vandalism!?

Is not to rely on the works of "the few", such as constitution and (common) "law", be voluntary compliance of surrendering one's sovereignty - to which one has no authority or understanding!? Cannot such examples be changed, taken away and replaced with another - I say, then what shall one do!?

To speak, to march and have thought of "freedom" only satisfies the "feel-good" of human emotion - I say, cowardly and lazy acts of those - as no commitment is made; except for words being shared over drink saying, "I tried" or "I was almost..." (as if to imply a badge of honor).

I say, is it not easy to say it is too hard and do nothing!? Is it easier to remain a slave eight, ten, sixteen hours a day "for life" then to take the time needed "now" to make a better "for life"!? Is it not for a child to "stomp a foot and say no"!?

I say these next words loudly, with conviction and authority; either one and/or the many do - or remain silent. For the act of one and/or the many will be the true measure; for such act is as quiet as when the pen strikes the paper. I say, worry not of the works of "the few":

Rely on self and each other - for there is no great leader, messiah, nonhuman species, "god", mystic, I who write these words and as such that will give deliverance; for this is found within each.

Turn away and give back what belongs to "the few" in the most simplest way one knows.

Worry not of unity (of sovereignty) or how things shall be - for things will naturally unfold - lest a repeat of what was and is will be.

Rely on the governance, which is for all living things, universally - I say, rely on (true) Natural Law - and leave the "laws of the dead" for the dead - for it belongs to them and them alone.

I say, many claim to be awakened and spiritually free - I say, how can this be so when one does not know, have original thought or understanding of how to be anything more then what they have been!?

Can a child learn to run before they learn to crawl!? Yet, some make claim to do such things. Is not to be awakened more then simply being aware!? Is not the first step to truly being awakened and spiritually free - to free the flesh!?

I say, when time of the next harvest comes by "those others", how can chattel have any voice when the chattel has no ownership!? Sovereignty is more then about human-made corruption imposed; it is about the opportunity for the human species to break the cycle of many tens of thousands of years - to be heard as one voice in the great abyss by "others", allowing human freedom for the first time. Until this occurs, history will simply repeat itself.

I say, one's deeds do "echo for an eternity" - each has the freedom to make choice what will be echoed. The deeds of many also echo for an eternity. I now return to my silence in threads.
