Lynn Hayes: Countdown to the Cardinal Cross

In her article, Jupiter Meets Uranus and the Countdown Begins, Astrologer Lynn Hayes walks us through the transits of Summer, and flash points that activate the Cardinal Grand Cross. She writes, "Our challenge is to be alert and aware of the impending explosion into consciousness of a new awareness and experience, without devolving into fear as change begins to spin our world around."
She points out that Uranus going into Aries (May 27th) is an electromagnetic shift of the planet. It's set to alter our consciousness, and what we think is possible. And Uranus' meeting with Jupiter (on June 8th), is a turning point into the wholly brand new. This helps us open to the change that is urgently upon us. Writes Lynn, "The Grand Cross is a powerful alignment that creates resistance that erupts into conflict and, ultimately, resolution. Our resistance to change will be revealed under these influences and we will have to let go in order to ride the wave into a new future."
Since there's a lot of fear -- or anticipation -- about the Cardinal Cross itself -- I appreciate Lynn's perspective. She ends with the reminder that the universal forces seek balance, and that this is part of a major re-balancing that began with Pluto's move into Capricorn in early 2008.
Our world is out of whack, and is on the restless edge of being re-created. These energies are not just 'out there,' but moving within us, and they make us part of this great endeavor. Lynn's article is a reminder that there's an unveiling ahead, with the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction in Aries, that'll carry us forward in new, unexpected ways.
