My two sons Eden and Ian, how amazing they are.
Yesterday was a tough day. Faced some hard facts/truths.
Sometimes I forget have support. Today I remember.
And we should consider every day lost on which we have not danced at least once.
And we should call every truth false which was not accompanied by at least one laugh. --Nietzsche

Two lovely sister in-laws were diagnosed with stage 4 Cancer some months ago. One has Lymphoma, the other a rare form of breast Cancer. They both surprised their doctors having come along so well. One of them however has just been told it's back. She was sad and disappointed but has maintained the most positive attitude since the beginning. She won't let it steal the important time she has left with her four children. I think shes pretty amazing and am so very proud of her.

    I love that...

    - there is no right or wrong to how I see things.
    - I am at peace, even when I forget I am.
    - I am a part of this changing scenario.
    - I volunteered to be here at this time.
    - I feel like a millionaire.
    - I don’t need all the answers.
    - I am learning what is and what is not.
    - I see through the folly.
    - I know there are no mistakes.
    - I know simplicity is my choice.
    - I am freedom.
    - I experiment with possibility, then refine or begin all over again.
    - Peace, Love, and Joy are my mainstays.
"Relinquishing a desire does not mean that you won't get what you want.
It merely clears the way for it to happen." Dr. David R. Hawkins

People who generally dislike church or religion havent truly understood them or been a part of a hijacked church.

Religion, in its pure essence is a wonderful thing. Just because some people abuse it dosent mean its bad.

I have been to many churches and seen awesome things :-)

Remember, it is what you make it. Remember, the word is good, the deed is right. Have faith and do not fear.

Lovely thread! And well done with the garden Thunder! It's inspired me to post on my garden (I love my garden, I get giddy over plants) I'm proud to have hit over 100 different heirloom plants/seeds in my collection and have just harvested my first bumper crop of sweet potatos :D. We are having a power week in the yard, it seems to work like that lol we don't do anything for awhile and then we'll get a boost of energy and spend tonnes of time doing things. So this week we got our first four chickens, who were so happy with their new home (my hubby built them a mansion, plus we have that many plants and bugs to feed them they think they died and went to heaven) they promptly started giving us 4 scrumptious eggs a day. Planted about 30 new plants along with a double grafted peach tree.. mmmm peachie.. remulched and set up all my green manures etc for areas I want to plant in spring. Oh I have so many plant varieties I want to try lol

Hubby caught his first fish (salmon) and we've got plenty of veges so other than bread and bananas today all my little family ate was home grown or caught! I just have to put in here I'm a young mother with a 17 month old darling daughter and really when you follow your heart and feel that connection to life and follow your gut, living with mother nature isn't as much work as its made out to be, it's the most satisfying experiences and it doesn't have to be a big deal. Just start with something small like treating yourself! Look for a plant that you feel a connection with and get it and plant it, a garden is not a place of big things, it is a place of a thousand small inspirational moments and good deeds that result in abundance.

Sometimes it is hard to believe that most people on this planet are peaceful kind folks, most do not want war, most don't own guns, most are not criminals and most live their lives as honest hard working people. Sometimes it is hard to believe this given the fact that the mainstream media bombards us with negative headlines, politicians overwhelm us with negative advertisement. Politicians and news media are joined at the hip in telling us how bad the world is, the media incessantly reports this blown out of proportion negative reality so they can have 'their politicians' step forward telling us they are the only ones that can solve these horrific problems.

There was a piece in the American Medical Journal written about a few years ago by a prominent psychologist saying that if you want your children to be well adjusted and have a clear view of the world, they should not be exposed to mainstream media news!

The vast majority of people are good, kind honest people..............we need to keep this as our focus instead of believing the media that the sky is falling and virtually everyone on earth has a negative agenda!
