Thank you Richard and Celine, so much. Oh my God, I'm balling my eyes out...

You see my Mother passed away a year ago and while my Father and Mother were married for over 60 years, my Mother had a lover towards the end of her life at age 90. In a few short weeks we will be scattering her and my Father's ashes over 'Lavender' Bay in Sydney. (My Father died over 12 years ago but we kept his ashes).

In addition I have a lovely, old lady friend who has just celebrated her 94th birthday who adores flowers, lizards and birds - she invites them into her house and talks to them (she is of quite sound mind, brain as sharp as a steel trap), however I don't think she has much longer to go. She confided in me recently that she had a secret lover in her younger years.

I am going to scatter my Mother and Father's ashes with Lavender. And on my next visit to my 94 year old friend, will present her with a bunch of Lavender. Thank you for the inspiration.

And thank you both again for touching my soul with your story.
