Default it's surely one of the most extraordinary and radical books ever published. .

Im wondering if anyone has read this book, or is familiar with the material. A search of the book title came up with surprisingly little to no results(possibly indicating the censorship or attempt to limit availability).

I've made it through about 80 pages and I can tell already this guy has done his homework and doesnt seem to have an agenda beyond providing an unapologetic and raw disclosure of historical information.

Alot of what he says follows a majority of secret concepts we are already familiar with but does it with no reference (that I've found so far ) to alien ancestry or origin. I'll provide the pdf as soon as i figure out how....here is another description:

This is R. Lewis's monumental book The Thirteenth Stone - History Rewritten, the Jesus Myth Exploded and the Great Secret of the Knights Templar Revealed by the Dead Sea Scrolls (1997) which sets on a quest of proving the existence of and identifying the Holy Grail, referencing such works as Holy Bible, The Book of Enoch, The Dead Sea Scrolls, The Nag Hammadi Library, Hindu Scriptures, Coptic Texts, and John Dee's translation of The Necronomicon.

Simply skimming through the pages it becomes clear to any reader that it's surely one of the most extraordinary and radical books ever published. In one explosive volume the Lewis completely rewrittes the history of religion and goes far towards uncovering the ancient mysteries - all of this springing out of a ground-breaking decipherment of the enigmatic Dead Sea Scrolls.

Lewis makes the bold claim to have: Shown the Bible to be a pagan book of the occult; Uncovered the mystery of the Holy Grail; Recovered the lost secrets of Freemasonry and the Knights Templar; Found the key to many of the prophecies of Nostradamus; Discerned a common thread in ancient myths from around the world; Laid bare the substance behind the alchemical concept of the transmutation of base metals into gold; Discovered the true meaning and purpose of the Great Pyramid.

In doing so he has uncovered a real historical conspiracy that will shock even the most ardent of conspiracy theorists. Having covered the past almost completely, he points to an extraordinary future for mankind.

All the ancient secrets, he says, foreshadow the imminent arrival of an entirely new species of human being and a golden age on earth. Apart from demolishing many other sacred cows, the author exposes the major religions of the world as being utterly bankrupt.

The Thirteenth Stone is a scarce masterpiece and a true treasure of esoteric knowledge that should be of interest not only to a serious researcher but to anyone who wishes to know what secrets lie behind all those historical texts. 570 pages, some pictures. A must read for everyone.

    Wow!
    Of all the books.
I knew Lewis, he was a friend of mine.
Unfortunately, after revising the 13th Stone and renaming it The Secret Diaries of an Alchemist, he had a heart attack and died.
His actual name was Reginald Lewis Da Costa and he was a sephardic jew.
He didn't like the way that the ''elite'' jews did things and so he took a pro palestinian stance.
He wrote the last version as a semi fiction book as he believed those same ''elite'' jews would never let him publish the book.
He is buried in the church of england section of fremantle cemetary.
It would tickle him pink to think that you guys value his work so much.

Actually I was hoping somebody who did value his work would speak up and encourage me to continue, or aware of some recent revelations on the validity would speak up and discourage me.

Much like sifting through pages and pages of noise in a forum ,looking for useful relevant information can be discouraging when you havent got the time to read everything. Otherwise most threads are entertaining if not necessarily informative.

His book so far is interesting, but its almost 600 pages long. I havent got time to "eat" it all and then kick back and wait for gas, indigestion or heartburn to tell me if its truth. I "eat" so to speak on the run, as much as I can, when I can, and as fast as I can. Im not looking for flavor, just fuel.

So far I feel its served me well to try everything without making conclusions, judgments, or spending too much time in any area. I look for similarities, repetition, theories or ideas that make sense, the occasional bombshell that leaves you shocked momentarily, often sending you wandering in a new direction.

By not signing up for any one fan club, I can enjoy everything without having to defend or root for one particular team.

I couldnt seem to find any info here or elsewhere so now I turn to you my lord sid, your opinion being one I respect, I am fortunate that you have a strangely personal point of view to speak of, if you dont mind sharing a little more..

When I read his book, it didn't make much sense to me at the time.
    I have grown immensely since.
I have been meaning to get a copy of the last edition for a while.
I will do that today and get back to you.

This is what another guy I met says.

The Thirteenth Stone is brilliant, intelligent and deeply devout. It may be the most important book I have ever read. I need to reread it more slowly a second time to understand and appreciate the historical, cultural and literary references. Then I will have to reread the Bible with new eyes.

    .
This bit of info is hilarious in light of his response to those who might think he was in any way racist; to paraphrase ' for all you know, I may be a Jew.' Just an example of the good humor and love for his fellow man that is obvious in this amazing book. Whether you agree or disagree with the book, it is a profound work.

Deep thanks to you Jesterking for making this available.

I started it when you started the thread and I must agree it's very good. I don't often find new books on these topics that say anything interesting (the themes are all very similar and once you've read most of the canon, well...). I struggle with the ideas of first contact and savior. We denigrate first contact by creating a Jesus/savior comparison. I wish I didn't need any help figuring this life out, but I do. So I feel guilty about my strong desire for ET contact. The book helped me realize I want a teacher, not a savior. I still decide for myself, but I need more information, more ideas.

Just having a look at the pdf now.
I saw a phrase that Lewis used all the time when we talked on the phone.
    Quote Posted by Lewis
God is using the Dark to sharpen the Light.
This is his way of explaining why ''god'' allowed evil things to exist and/or take place.

It was while reading a thread in a different forum that I finally understood the "necessity" so to speak, of evil. This person writing the thread was explaining that for us to be given free will and the opportunity to choose the right path we must therefore also be given a wrong choice. Without the option, how else could someone learn absolutely what is important if not by making mistakes, or poor choices. "God is using the dark to sharpen the light" to me means that for the light to evolve and become pure we must continue to make the right choices until we've eliminated all the "wrong" ones and only the "right" choices remain..or until the "wrong" ones become absolutely unacceptable.
