Avalon Groups - Let's ORGANIZE LOCALLY

My fellow Avalonians,

Project Avalon has a much under-used but wonderful feature on this website called: GROUPS

You can even create your own group.

I feel it could prove very useful to create more LOCAL groups, and for those groups already existing to have more members find them and join them.

It's always nice to be able to chat with local friends from your own country or state, and maybe even arrange to meet them in person. Many new friends could find eachother this way and together we stand stronger than alone.

We might even get to organise things together that we would never bother to do on our own. Organising ourselves more locally just creates a lot more possibilities.

Without local groups, if something weird happened and internet went down.. we'd lose all our fellow Avalonian friends.. Some doomsday thinkers might even go so far as to say that being organised in local groups might even save lives in some of their most dire scenarios..

Wouldn't it just be great to mingle localy in your own city with people of similar vibration and mindset.. instead of the daily grind of mingling with the average dead-asleep joe on the street or at work or something..

I live in that tiny country they call Holland, it's a pimple on the world map, but i was delighted to find the 'DUTCH GROUND CREW' group. Not so many dutchies found it yet but still.. happy about its existence So to all dutchies: Schiet op en join! (Hurry up and join)

Avalonians, let's organise!

Join your local ground crew or create a new local group, it's a great free Avalon service that could prove important. Let's use it!

That was the original idea of Avalon ... Ground crews !
They are needed more than ever.

I appreciate your efforts to spark the topic of ground crews again Trail, as some will be aware a number of Avalon meet-ups have already taken place this year in locations such as Perth, London and Arizona.. There's also one coming up in Melbourne I do believe.

The power of connecting with like-minded people has an enormous potential, so spread the word and start getting to know each other !

Excellent idea..I touched base with the Northeast group and met and talk with another person in the next state but I think it could get closer than that. I think those in the USA could start a group in each state. That would be so much better and from there we could move to key cities within the state....I love Avalon and would like to see more connection at the state and local levels. Have a great day.

I also feel its important to connect locally with like minded individuals for the purpose of preparing, helping and supporting each other through the coming times.

It looks like there only two of us in the Welsh crew and so Ive joined the English as well. My weekends are usually free and Id be happy to travel to London. Got friends in London and Bristol so can always find a place to stay save money. Come on lets do it!!
