In brief. This video highlights how human beings should not be going to certain places.

This supports how the earth is not being over populated (example, resource issues), rather how human beings are not only pushing back common wildlife and "destroying nature" through population growth; but also, how some of "those others" who live on/in earth (and not) are not wanting to be exposed for whatever reason. As well, ancient knowledge (whether it be events or tangible) remain hidden; knowing how truth is being "hidden" with many other things in this modern civilization, is it any wonder why "modern day" adventurers have nothing to report!?

The further away from today (into history) one travels - the closer to the truth one is.

I find the show to be interesting. However, we in our modern times do not give credit to our ancestors and their accomplishments as we think we are smarter (the ego) as they would not be intelligent enough to do it on their own. Not everything is related to alien influences. I do agree that there may be some, but most of our human history is underwater, some is right in front of us but we do not recognize it for what it truly is.

I find the show to be interesting. Which cultures who are around today developed technology, even the simple wheel? Given some "help" some cultures have grown & evolved the technology. However, some cultures (or individuals) simply did and do not have that capacity without a "jump start", and for all intensive purposes would still be in their indigenous, non-technological states. There are many examples of either. As most engineers would agree, many of these structures (eg, pyramids at Giza) cannot be built, even with todays technology.

Indeed... in some shows it seems that whatever happened "aliens did it!" and is funny that way

Some suggest that the all this advanced knowledge and interesting imagery that our ancestors saw, was accessed in altered states of consciousness (by ingesting plants for example). So a shaman would go into a vision quest and come back with "how to build a pyramid in 20 years using sound waves". I am exaggerating a bit, you get the point. And to me this theory seems valid! The so called "ancient aliens" could have been (and still be) in touch with us from remote distances.

Another thing. If I understood it correctly, the continents, the lands masses shift around... slowly but they do. Now this poses an interesting question about the aliments of the megalithic structures...

The possibilities I see:

1) the land mass shifts very slowly and the monuments are recent enough to still be in alignment. (perhaps this could be used to determine with some error margin when the monuments were built - like the pyramids).

2) the builders accounted for the shifting of land mass, and the monuments have come into alignment for this time now. But this could mean that back then when build they were not in alignment with the stars...

3) the land mass shifting is so slow that is not a factor at all in all of this

Hi Illie I had the same thoughts re alignments, the stars and planets shift-- earth shifts.
I dont have an answer.
One thing that does turn me off an excellent series is the continual mention of ancient aliens-- it verges on brain washing and is very repetative
Not saying the concept is not valid but they are really beating that drum.

I have to agree, and it has always been my personal opinion, that the show does push the "ancient alien" theory over-abundantly (they did name the show according to their theory) but, over-all, this show is an excellent source of historical and archaeological information. The national media outlets do not seem to be poised to provide us with such information so we obtain it from any outlet willing to provide said info and then apply our own theories to these cold, hard facts of their existence.
