Default London Riots. (The BBC will never replay this. Send it out)

Darcus Howe, a West Indian Writer and Broadcaster with a voice about the riots. Speaking about the mistreatment of youths by police leading to an up-roar and the ignorance of both police and the governement. Intelligent black male. SEND THIS TO EVERYONE!

(Also, did anyone notice that the interviewer tried to make him ignorant... Complete back-fire I must say)

Like all media reporting if you can call it that, they just want to BLAME someone.... or continually ask HOW DID YOU FEEL? and we the viewing public have to put up with reporters asking the same stupid questions over and over .... just because they don't listen or comprehend what is being said to them does not mean we don't....

I watched this interview live and he nailed the reporter..... who was just trying to incite an aggressive response and it back fired big time....

This glimpses at some of the real issues here which need to be addressed.

It about time the media got involved with focusing on these real issues instead of drip feeding us with reports of looting and other diversionary stories.

The man is absolutely spot on...
People have had enough... This is the way they are fighting back.
Sure there will be collateral damage but such is life.
How can these people not see that what this man is saying..??
I refuse to believe that these people are that ignorant..
He hit it on the head again and again and she did not, cannot and will not see it..
I wonder whether she will go home tonight and realize what just happened there on national television...??

This is an issue which affects all nations, that have not addressed social inequalities, ie the well off & the less fortunate, those employed & those not,
racial discrimanation, religious indifferences. Until the Human Race can address these riots can & will happen anywhere!!

    Wow!

Racism/Differences in Outward appearance is a very old tool to create turmoil with the masses!

The reporter tried to put words in Mr Howe,s mouth, very obvious.
    It smacks of racism.

Those media talking heads might not have got the plot BUT:

    I sniff a big-time plot affoot here.

The police held back for 2 or 3 days to let this stuff escalte into a situation they can now a shouting fight about all over the media.

I don't even think the Prime Minister is yet in on the plot. It seems to have been timed for when he and most other politicos were sneaked out of the country having their luxury holidays that would also add to the furry against the middle puppets ( which is probably what many of the kids think is the right people to get angry with).

With so much "social media" available now it's even possible for Special Branch and MI5 etc to be 'working' this. Otherwise it would have been very hard to do it the old style by dressing (down) up and mixing in with the crowds. How do grown officers mix in with a crowd of 12 -17 year olds?, not an easy trick to pull off, but now they don't even have to.

The timing of this rings the loudest alarm for me.

It's a bit like a police dawn raid. It's done at just the right time when there is the greatest chance that the target is fast asleep or have their pants around their ankles. This is exactly the right time to 'jump' the political establishement. Do you think those kids were intimately aware that the politicos were away on their hollidays?....naaaa, but "someone" knew.

On the contrary, I am thinking that the UK governement will use this event to sweep the streets clean of all the undesirables... with full support of the property owners.

If it is truly GANGS doing all of this... property owners will turn a blind eye to what comes down. Most civil people have a great dislike of gang activity and this riot has been particulary harsh on the struggling common person just trying to get by.

Cameron said it all as reported on CNN today. He spelled it out:
    www.cnn.com/2011/WORLD/europe/08/10/uk.riots/index.html?iref=allsearch

Speaking outside 10 Downing Street Wednesday, Cameron said those involved would be held accountable -- and stressed that "pockets of our society that are not just broken, but are frankly sick" must regain a lost sense of personal responsibility.
It was "all too clear we have a big problem with gangs," he said, adding that the authorities would not "let any phony concerns about human rights" prevent police trying to identify young suspects.

and here is an interesting opinon piece from CNN. Kind of flys in the face of what some are saying here about the media.

I have also been wondering if whoever is behind this has been using ultra sonic technology.... it only works on the young....funny that!!! and it is not a stretch of the imagination to make some adjustments to the frequency levels to get a different response....... something smells here...

That guy in the video said that Duggan had his head blown off. That is not true and is meant to excite people intentionally. Why would he say something like that that is not true?

Personally I am not feeling a lot of compassion for Duggan. He was a herion dealer, carried a gun and been in lots of trouble before.
that some injustice might have come his way is likely certian, but hey, what goes around, comes around... people get what they create for the most part.

Probably because he was enraged by the person asking him the questions..... agree with your point about carrying a gun... they are all being used, Duggan's family seem to be the ones calling for calm, this should resonate the loudest alarm bells.

If agents were instructed to 'jump' on any opportunity that came up, this hasn't been about Duggan since about 4 hours after he was shot.

It still makes me wonder why the police do not every tackle the importers of the drugs - costs HUGE bucks to import it. No street dealer could ever afford to import it. It seems so petty. AND no matter who confiscates it, it still ends up on the streets.

Enraged by the interviewer? not able to keep presence of mind to tell the truth? In my book this is merely commiting bull **** to incite.
When ever you speak as though it is a truth but it is not that is a lie, that is bull ****. When ever you speak as though its the truth when you don't know the facts that is BS too. I would not pass this video on for the intent is to incite.

this is absolutlely true. In the US marijuana possession is legal in 13 states by states rights... but the Feds still raid. People are working on it and without carrying guns to make a point politically

Criminals who do illegal activity carry guns just in case they need to kill someone to save their sorry asses.... keep that in mind. Regardless if they law is just or not, guns are for killing and in this case to kill for possession of valuable goods. Al Capone and his gang were not good people justificed in their actions by a bad law.
