with their policing problems so america is sending
over a american cop to show them how to handle
rioters. Look for things to get very nasty over there
in the coming months...

American cops get away with beating the hell out of
their citizens and in some cases, they even kill them

If British Cops are going to take the lead from American cops, Let me say this, before it gets any worse,,, I am sooooooooo sorry to hear that. That is NOT good news. There is a reason that most Americans don't tussle with the Cops. I hope to god they don't bring this style of BS to the UK.

The police definitely do not like the idea of Bill Bratton being consulted. I think they have taken offence to the idea.

And so they should, BUT!...

I have a hunch that the reason the Police didn't get tough straight off the bat was because there is a lot of politiking going on at the mo between the government ( who want to slash their budget ) and the Police who want to make the government have a re-think about that.

Cameron seems to be calling their bluff, for now, but we'll see how it pans out later.
