this should be Mass Media 101 for all conspiracy theorists & deserves a bump.
    Here's the trailer

also, this should be moved to the "Manipulation in the Media" area

Chomsky believes in the single bullet, 'Oswald did it,' theory of the Kennedy assassination and describes all those who think 911 was an inside job as "as nutty as people who believe in ufos".

So watch the video, it's great, but understand that Chomsky could be a 'limited hangout' dude. I spoke to Barry Zweiker about him and he was flummoxed, befuddled and profoundly disappointed about Chomsky's take on conspiracy 'fact.' And then the road show with Cockburn he did after the movie JFK came out?? Appalling, miserableand profoundly creepy.

There are a few reasons Chomsky might be stone stupid on some issues, that don't involve him actually lying through his teeth.

And this guy is the 'champion of the left???' How many times have I heard reasonable people, on the left, say they won't consider 911, as an inside job, because Chomsky doesn't believe it is? Wow.

well... I totally understand where you are coming from. However, he's the king of blowing away corporate media and clarifies actually specifics of an otherwise (and intentionally) vague label 'fake news'. He may have gotten me started on my awakening.

I suppose it's easy for me to overlook his blinders when it comes to deep state conspiracy, my own wife doesn't believe in the 911 inside job theory or in a secret space program or any kind of government cover up really. but i love her and she makes me a better person when it comes to interpersonal relationships and being a generally more responsible person.

Chomsky is a gatekeeper for certain limited hangouts. So is Greg Palast. Not to mention others. I quit putting any weight on what either of these men said once I heard/read them tell others that the official conspiracy theory of 911 is true.

Each of us has had different "triggers" that got us thinking "outside the box"....hurrah for ALL of them!! Mine was Charles White & the Tall Whites which then led me to Bill & Kerry! That is the point! We should never follow one particular person, but start thinking for ourselves!
