    Default Gulf oil gusher

    Greetings
First of all, thanks for letting me join the ranks of such neat human beings...this is my first post!

We here on the gulf coast are in big trouble!!! Wife and I moved a bit inland years ago, however
my family lives on Clearwater Beach, Fl, so we are "in the line of fire" of this mess that nobody seems to know what to do about.
We can not get local reps to talk about it...Governor is too busy running for US Senate to respond...and the only thing he's talking about is money...you would think he'd be forming a responce team of fisherman, boaters and beach goers to start cleanup.... you would think he'd be calling on US Govt, UK Govt, BP, Halliburton, Transoceanic, somebody to stop the leak NOW....but everyone here is dragging their feet...and every day it gets worse!!

I thought I'd ask this forum for some input...anybody have any ideas ???

(I'd ask the 'good guy' ET's to give us some help, but they're probably fed up with our ineptitude)

Thanks again Bill, for this new forum...I'm proud to be part of this...

    Blessings

    Lefty Dave

    Hi, Dave -

    Welcome to the Forum.

There's a specialist area for this very important topic here...

    https://projectavalon.net/forum4/foru...saster-UPDATES

Enjoy (if that's the right word...) - there is a lot of good information there, and I'm contributing as much as I can. So are many other good people here.

Also do read the 9 June Avalon blog update here...

    http://projectavalon.net/lang/en/whats_new.html

I just heard a few minutes ago from one of our insider sources (I had asked whether the well casing was damaged or fractured) - and he did not know. But he said it was a possibility. (It has to be...)

    Cheers, Bill

    Hi Dave,
Yes there is something that you and every human around there can do.

There is a video and link to a company that sells oil gobbling microbes.
Since the authorities are not interested in using this stuff, which has been proven to work,
    AND
since there is no law (yet) preventing you from putting healthy-water promoting microbes into the water,

Order a bunch of it, pass it around to all your concerned neighbors, with information on how it is cultured and the growing details etc,
    and
go out and put it into the water yourselves.

I see everyone who has fishing boat or a sailboat or rowboat going out daily and tossing some microbes into the water all around the gulf.

Once the microbes are seeded into the water, their numbers will increase because of the enormous food supply, so you won't be doing this forever.

The reason to do it now in Florida is to help the microbes get into the water before the oil gets there. (it is on its way pretty fast too.)

Hopefully all the people who live closer to the spill can go out into the bayou and wherever they are still permitted to fish or be in a boat and distribute this.

You will be the heros of the earth if you do this.
Please do this, we will all be so grateful when you do.

    I will be grateful,

    jeanna

I read earlier today that Obama had been told about the microbes but this was in the context of the main gusher coming up from the ocean floor. The microbes cannot survive at those depths and cold temperatures. Seems they were used in Kuwait spill. Of course it wasn't mentioned as a solution in the way you present it.

    ===start quote

Garth Nicolson, one of the principals involved in the successful clean-up of a much smaller spill stated: "Yes, bioremediation works, but it is slow and expensive on a large scale, which is why it is unlikely to be considered for the deep water blow-out in the Gulf of Mexico. Also, with the low temperature at depths of one mile or more, the oil eating bacteria would be ineffective because their metabolism would be essentially shut down. It could work on the contaminated inter-tidal areas, but again the quantities of bacteria necessary would be unattainable today.

I saw firsthand as a visiting professor at Kuwait University after the first Gulf War the use of bacteria to return oil contaminated land back to its original state. It took years to do this and a lot of money, which the kuwaitis had in abundance.

    ==========end quote

It would be great if some action is taken in the form you suggest. it's a helluva lot better than non-action, or the even worse action of spraying pollutants (euphemistically called dispersants) KNOWN to be harmful to biological life -- into the Gulf.

    Blessings!

That is also not necessary ... oil will float on top of water especially salt seawater.

I like b.t.w. people taking action themselves ... another sign that we won't wait any longer for governments ... we can govern ourselves !

Success spreading the word and microbes

    Greetings
Above is a site that is keeping track of oil spread, illness , any media , etc., may be of help to those interested in daily goings on in and around the Gulf. Sadly, not much being done today to stop the leak. Thanks for all your responses...

Thanks Jeanna, Unplugged, Operator for your replies.....we on the gulf coast don't get much news...boaters are kept away from the area...no flights allowed over the area...someone's controlling all media and responders....no oil on the beach yet...but something is coming down in the rain that shows on our roof (metal)....just have to wait and see where this is going...
    you all take care...
    Dave
