Default Healing and Peak States of Consciousness

For anyone seriously interested in healing, the mechanics of healing i would recommend taking a look at the work of this guy Dr Grant McFetridge. He was born into a particular peak state of consciousness and lived this way until he lost his state and fell into average consciousness. In fact he only recognised the significance of his state when he lost it and some describe this pain as being kicked out of heaven. Over the last twenty or so years he has been on a quest to understand the nature of peak states and how one acquires them and loses them. What he discovered was that trauma was the key to losing these states at particular developmental events. He also maintains that most of these states we have pre birth but we lose them during developmental events.

It is really interesting stuff and his writings are quite technical, but for any serious researchers of healing and shamanic realms, personally i don't think there is anything quite as comprehensive out there when it comes to mapping the human psyche. His first book volume one is a good introduction to his theory, whilst his second volume really pushes the boundaries, and is very technical.

    Bumping your thread here, Kingmonkey.
If this teaching were combined with astrology which can predict frequency of such states and give prior warning of when peak states might be lost, as in the case of the author...which clearly was caused by his first Saturn return at age 29, then one would have one hell of a tool to maintain optimal radiance.

    Thanks for the input.

Im certainly not big on astrology, but clearly the ages around 29 seem to be pivotal years in peoples lives.

I know that also aged 29 was the beginning of many of my health problems and generally speaking a period of transition and shedding of the old.

I do believe that we go through fundemental developmental events as we go through adult hood too.

    Interesting stuff.

Saturn's orbit last approximately 29 years depending whether one begins counting during retrograde periods, or not.
If one further divides that orbit into four sections of approx 7 years each, by drawing a cross through the circle, one can find further points in time. Because when 90 degrees have been completed from the starting point some kind of a maturation event takes place.
Hence at age 7 the new set of teeth interrupt normal confidence, and reading and writing are learnt as a stricter discipline than the more playful toddler stage.
At age 14 or thereabouts new hormonal activity brings puberty while around 21 most have left the parental nest and are struggling with making their place in society, either with higher education, or learning other survival skills.
By 29 there are heavier responsibilities than at any of the earlier stages, running a successful household, with family life and raising children.
