Default Pictures of Tippi - A Beautiful Childhood in the Heart of Africa's Jungles

Stumbled upon a story sent to my email many months ago but somehow didn't see... What a profound childhood!!! This I wouldn't go as far as to say 'is the way it should be', but there's something beautifully right and familiar about this girls endeavors with all these animals and culture in Africa.

Here is the intro of the email I got:

Quote This French girl, Tippi, was born in Nairobi, Africa in 1990. Grew up in the jungles with her parents who are wild life photographers. They documented her life with the animals. She went back to France @ age 10. Here are some pics, WOW. Isn't it heaven on earth or not!? I'm impressed...What an AMAZING childhood!!!
This took me considerable effort to get on Avalon as I had to save each pic, and upload each pic to my photobucket. But it's worth my time to enlighten Avalon to this girl's life and pictures.

    Enjoy

Beautiful, stirring images ... striking ... if not a bit dangerous for the little one in a few of them.

"Forget being famous, says bush baby, I'd just like to be normal

    December 27 2002

Kim Willsher meets a girl who grew up with wild African animals.

Tippi Degre is hanging upside down from a trapeze slung from the beams of the cramped Paris flat. The phrase "little monkey" springs immediately to mind - and not just because of her childish acrobatics.

"I miss Africa - that's my home," the 12-year-old says sadly. Then she plops herself in front of the television to watch a music video.

For 10 years, Tippi wandered the bush dressed only in a loincloth, befriending some of the world's most ferocious animals.

Her playground was the hills and the harsh desert tribelands of southern Africa; her companions were big cats, elephants, snakes and crocodiles.

She moved to the French capital with her mother three years ago. Since then a book of her adventures has been published, she has set up a website, and has returned to Africa to film six nature documentaries for the Discovery Channel.

The trip was, says Sylvie Robert, Tippi's mother, a "wonderful experience", despite the gruelling filming schedule. "She was really at home, because at heart she is a little African."

Tippi disagrees. "No, Maman, it's not true that I loved it. It was great to see the elephants and the lions, but it would have been better if it hadn't always been in front of the camera. It was hard work, it was difficult, it was hot and I was not happy all the time. I was worn out at the end of it."

Tippi was born in the newly independent Namibia, where her parents worked as freelance wildlife photographers. At 10 months the toddler was exploring the Namibian bush and desert, and befriending animals like Abu, a 28-year-old elephant. Although Abu was perfectly capable of crushing the tiny girl under his foot, he would curl his trunk around her waist and sweep her up onto his back, or lie down and use his trunk to blow away flies as she slept in the shade of his massive body.

As the family wandered the bushland, Tippi picked up other friends. She would splash in rivers with crocodiles and cuddle giant bullfrogs, lion cubs or chameleons; and she developed a knack for persuading giraffes to bend down to her level.

Her best friend, she tells me, was a leopard nicknamed J&B. It had been adopted by a desert farmer after its mother had died in a trap and, Ms Robert says, was "mild as a household cat when Tippi was around, but never lost its killer instinct". When it attacked another child, the little girl marched right up to the animal, gave it a sharp slap on the nose and told it to "Stop that," at which it ran away.

Tippi also befriended the bushmen and Himba tribespeople of the Kalahari, who taught her how to survive on roots and berries and to speak their language.

Life as a bush baby came to an end when her parents moved to Madagascar and then to France.

For her first two years in Paris Tippi attended a local state school, but had little in common with the other children and is now educated at home.

The small flat where Tippi lives with her mother is filled with African souvenirs and pictures, but it is clear that she is caught in a cross-cultural limbo. One minute she says she has ambitions of being an actor or singer; the next she wants to go back to Africa - "my home".

"The reason I did the films and will do more is to show that we have to do something about saving the animals and the planet before it's too late ... I don't want to be famous. I just want to be normal."

    The Telegraph, London

    http://www.smh.com.au/articles/2002/...511135489.html

I was wondering how she managed to fit back into mainstream society after such a amazing start to her life, figures that she had to be home schooled.

She's 18 now, i wonder if shes been back and if she still has a gift with animals.

I agree. it inspired thoughts of times possibly on our planet where humans and even the most vicious wildlife can live together in harmony. A metaphor for this exists on Avalon in a wonderful way. How we can hold differing realities and not tear each other to shreds. might not seen huge to some who may have only been on Avalon, however having been on many forums I see this as a miracle and kind of a godsend type thing to me(although I don't believe God sent it to me so much).

The animals obviously see her as the light being she is, and I surmise to guess animals have more order and reason in them than many people think.

I can't adequately explain the concept I got while viewing these(well I got many but one in particular). It had to do with animals and humans coexisting in harmony though. And how she's around animals that strike fear in people, and are considered killers but with her they seem totally fine and comfortable, and is such a beautiful thing to see IMO.

I have had that thought often and have been trying to bring these types of things to Avalon, although I'm working with subversion there... The world is quite full of amazing, beautiful, profound, touching, and inspiring stories happening every day. Reality is what you make of it(I mean our subjective version mostly). I think it's important to know all the ins and outs of endarkening here. But also very important to remember that this planet is everything. And touching/beautiful things happen just as much as bad things(I don't know the %'s so thats a rough interpretation). It is not summed up as a prison planet, although even I have called it that at times. It's heaven and hell and everything in between. It's nice to see the heaven more at times, I agree. We need more of it here. And I urge anyone reading this post that if you see an inspiring *anything*, to post it on Avalon. We could use the balance...

    ************************

Thank you astrid, how touching. I also assumed she would not fit in, in our society all the way.

It's not the seeming danger outside that gets us, it's the fear inside. Two other stories.
*A young swami Rama sitting on a riverside meditating for days. Crocodiles would lie on the bank near him, sunning themselves.
*Children of a wildlife type person in WA swimming over sharks underneath in perfect oblivion. An interviewer, Mike Willisee's son, could not believe the parents allowed this, and quizzed them time and again on the situation.
Soon we will all be able to telepathically communicate with animals, and be as close with them as this. It is our natural state of being.

I've experienced simulated and/or real full telepathic conversations with animals. TPTB have for sure already. I'm not talking empathy and vague imprints, I'm talking full telepathic conversations. I will be writing an in-depth article on this for my upcoming website www.omnisense.org I am working on right now.

I'll do a short expose on it now though since I'm sure people are interested.

With mind control(and even without too) animals can have their minds expanded, and synthetic understandings of language(which is the main mind control but expanding their memory and eloquence is a big part too), all the while having their own natural personalities. They have the base concepts to be translated into language and also understand concepts naturally, so you are really interacting spiritually with the animals(full telepathy is a spiritual experience). It's saddens me deeply what we do to animals.... Anyway, when this becomes public, ethics will be something that will be needed in a major way. But it is a majorly enlightening experience and it is no doubt a trigger to humanity becoming more enlightened and activating hearts in minds. You may not think so, but technology is a major tool to enlighten.... We've barely scratched the surface.

I had convos with these animals(and I may not remember them all right now due to memory restriction - and they were simulations I'm told based on real events TPTB did):

    A hammerhead shark
    A hippo
An insect(this was just feelings and concepts as I don't think they can expand the minds there too much to be like ours, could be wrong there)
    A croc
    Can't remember any more.

They all had beautiful and unique energies, and so profoundly profoundly profoundly(there is no word for this concept but 3 profounds will have to do lol) amazing lessons and intrigue involved. It was purely cosmic while at the same time so planetary of an experience that was more interesting than extraterrestrials in a lot of ways. All this is here at home, waiting to be tapped into.

you might be talking about natural telepathy. I don't share that belief of yours if thats what you mean. I think natural telepathy is far off unless something dramatic happens. But maybe you are more right than me.

I know a blind woman who says she spoke to my Fleaman.
She told him that he had to give me love and he did for a while, then went back and asked her if he was doing a good job.

Thanks Omni, for posting these wonderful pictures.

I came across Tippi's story and some of the photos many years ago. I guess it was when the book first was published.

What really touches us in these pictures is the connection between man and the animal world.
Implicitness and innocence, curiosity and joy - so wonderful to watch.
In a way this energy also reminds me of Anastasia and, in my opinion, it's part of the fascination people feel about the book series ... it's a kind of remembrance of the lost paradise, it's our soul's deep longing to live life this way again...

Also a big thank you, Astrid, for posting the videos.

    Hi Lord Sid,
May I ask what a Fleaman is?

That's the coolest thing for Fleaman to do. I assume she told him he was doing an awesome job?
