Nick, CERN has only run at full power (above 13TeV) a few times. How would you suggest we provide charts beyond those few times that CERN ran at these levels. What has already been given, is all there is. It certainly is enough to cause someone to pay attention.

If you aren't one of those who may have any concern, than please, leave it alone. It doesn't appear to me that you have any interest in discovering anything new, rather your comments appear that you are perfectly comfortable operating within your own paradigm. What is being suggested is, there are paradigm shattering data coming-in.
I am concerned about data being misinterpreted and misconstrued and incredible conclusions thus being drawn. If a hypothesis is to be proved, it needs accurate supportive data.

Someone giving authoritative sounding voice-overs to clips form websites or random people making "Oh wow - look what I've discovered" videos in my opinion don't really have any credibility. But hey, that's my opinion - but food for thought perhaps?

There are plenty who dismiss MSM, but are happy to consider this sort of thing. Like I said, the least you can do is suggest your ideas to the Solar Observing Forums, 'the places to share ideas'. There are plenty of other amateur forums in this area where the ionosphere and magnetosphere are studied/observed without the influence of professional or government organisations. They are all amateurs who are desperate to make a name for themselves with a new discovery - especially one as momentous as this!

You may be on to something - in which case get some others to look into it too to support your hypothesis.

I went to check out the recent flare and thought this was a strange catch up in the top right corner, any guesses what it might be?

No wonder they have been cleaning the charts. Otherwise solar activity has almost completely flatlined.

Electrons went diving, cosmic rays up and solar sector boundary crossing then a quake in Chile...I thought it was going to come sooner though.

There are two new hotspots on the sun!

Yesterday, new sunspot 2472 produced an M2.8 flare peaking at 01:03 UTC and an M1.1 peaking at 10:19 UTC.

And Today, new sunspot 2473 an M1.3 peaking at 03:34 UTC.

    From spaceweather.com:

Quote UPTICK IN SOLAR ACTIVITY: Two new sunspots, AR2472 and AR2473 on the sun's eastern limb, are crackling with C- and M-class solar flares. Although these are not major events on the Richter Scale of Flares, they are nevertheless bathing Earth's upper atmosphere with pulses of extreme UV radiation. The pulses, in turn, are creating minor radio blackouts at frequencies below 20 MHz. This NOAA map shows the "blackout zone" for one such event on Dec. 22nd:

The type of people who would notice such events are ham radio operators, mariners, and some aviators who use HF radio in their work. The southern hemisphere is affected most, because it is summer there, and the sun is higher in the sky.

More flares and blackouts are possible in the days ahead as the two sunspots turn toward Earth. NOAA forecasters estimate a 25% chance of M-class explosions on Dec. 22-23.

Protons shot up but bz isn't to far south. Still wouldn't be surprised if a quake popped here.

CME has impacted and bz now bouncing more south, kp index shot up. Northern coronal hole as well as cosmic rays up. Now feeling more like a possible earthquake. Flares settled down but wouldn't be surprised to see a flare pop.

I took the coordinates of a couple of those quakes in Nevada's NE corner and didn't see any fracking operations either but there is a lot of volcanic buttes and lava flows there (using google earth). Quakes often seen there even with old dormant areas. Also found this where quakes started up in Nevada in last August when fracking operations started up in Texas. Thought that it might interest you.

Another flare M2.3. Protons really shot up again. We just got the kp index back down. Quake on the Indian-Antarctic ridge. Looks like at the moment earth shield feeling it but holding its own. We'll see, the protons really shot up fast. Auroras seen to the north of us but didn't make it to my parts.

Some flaring, a M1 and M1.8 in the last couple of days. Most activity we've seen in a while as far as flaring goes.
