Well ... desert for most cows is a field full of clover, and maybe, for the adventurous, a few small low hanging apples from the apple tree (which tend to ferment in their stomachs, making for a slightly inebriated cow .)

(But when my herd-mates aren't looking, I've been known to sneak a bite of cake .)
