After eating dinner out last night, I went back up into my tower and my wife setteled into her second bed/TV room and watched Ab Fab for a few hours. She loves it.

I was just going to watch it a second time and now it's not there!!!!!

This Christmas was dull unless I looked at this thread.

My Barbados contact told me there was no shopping, as most visitors aren't coming in until today.
Found out that traveling on the 25th was cheaper, so all booked their flights accordingly.
The Brit government is still charging an extra $200 tax on all vacationers flights, meanwhile not a penny increase on any of the many private jets.
So the middle class tourism is being hurt big time.
Here an Now...eating more cookies while hubby is watching Mr. Bean on the local channel.

Oh, Ulli, I love mandalas! I had forgotten...I found them when I was teaching, and used them in my classroom quite often My kids loved them!!! Kids who were labelled behavior problems because they had emotional problems or medical diagnoses that included something involving brain chemistry, moods, personalities etc. I found them to be loving and caring but also discarded by the world. So misunderstood. Mandalas are like some sort of universal language but so unique to an individual's experiences....thanks Ulli!

My Christmas nightmare. Woke up late today to the smell of - nope, no turkey cooking.... Went out to the living room, Val (my girl) is asleep and her daughter is not here. Her daughter was supposed to come over and make the stuffing. It's so late I figure I'd better get started on turkey or it'll never get cooked in time. I look around for the turkey. Not in fridge. Not on counter... Oops, still in freezer!
No turkey dinner untill Tuesday nite. Her daughter did not show up until almost six. I told Val to call her and tell her about the turkey but Val was mad her daughter did not show up on time. So in walks Nicole and her new beau - and no turkey.
What a fiasco...

HAHA.. Ernie, last time i "did" xmas there was a similar drama.
My brother was meant to be hosting the day, only thing was he was so
drunk by 10 am that i ended up doing the whole thing myself.
Nightmare alright. I got called a control freak, lol.
He was passed out and guests where hungry so
what else was i to do but jump in and cover his ASSS.

I vowed never again after that .
Families and Xmas what a combo, lol.

As for the here and the now, i continue to be struck by the silence
that i have been experiencing for some time now.
Feeling lots of energy constantly flushing through my body
in waves. Still on mostly raw food, and where i can, living
raw. Starting to grow micro greens, pretty cool, much higher in
nutrients pound for pound and you can grow all year round and inside.
So you need to eat much less to stay super well.

Today and yesterday i have been listening to the lectures that i posted here,

A perfect fit for where I'm at right now, resonates very strongly for me .
I discovered that channel a while back when researching Astrologer Robert Hand.
then i noticed that Carmody also mentioned this author recently for alchemical texts.

Anyways, those 4 sessions, well worth the listen
especially relevant to the here and now of our times.
Covers it all really. His books are on my reading list for 2012.

Tears streaming after listening to this.
My first flat share ever in Chelsea, London, in 1968, just off the Fulham Road, Leonard Cohen's first album played 24/7. This was back in 1968. The guy who had rented out the various rooms in the house was a Canadian and had known him personally.
Then a year later when I was the movie projectionist at the Arts Lab, the director, Jim Haynes brought in a young American woman who he said would spice up the cinema part. She and Leonard Cohen had just broken up. So here she was in London, licking emotional wounds.
She herself had just made a movie called "Robert Having His Nipple Pierced". I learnt much from her, about putting on movie programs, finding weird artsy films. We were close. She talked a lot about him, although I don't remember anything she said in particular.
I thought it was strange how I kept running into Leonard Cohen type people, also later at college, even though at that time he was quite unknown.

First of all THANKYOU to everyone for sending healing light, prayers,reiki and all your wonderful collective energies for Abbie. At 11.11 Xmas eve my mum phoned to say that the contractions had stopped. I went to visit her and she was much calmer. Then, in synchronicity, the midwife looking after on Xmas day turned out to be a girl I used to hang with back in the day - tattood sleeves and a face like Bridget Bardot! I couldn't have asked for a better angel to look out for my sister. She kept telling her to ignore the negative consultants as there's ways hope. She also regaled my Sis with tales of our past together at rock festivals and raves! My sister loved it!
Unfortunately today the contractions started again. And again I got the msg at 11.11- couldn't believe it. Sadly now her waters have just broken and I guess it's just a waiting game. A part of her higher plan. She's with a different midwife today. Anyway once again thankyou everyone.

Having to post on IPhone again, the first born spilt his beer on my lap top Xmas day (sigh!) so I hope this makes sense. Love you all x
