I just found this joke about congress:

A driver was stuck in a traffic jam on the Washington DC beltway. Nothing was moving. Suddenly, a man knocks on the window.
The driver rolls down the window and asks, “What’s going on?”
“Terrorists have kidnapped Congress, and they’re asking for a $100 million dollar ransom. Otherwise, they are going to douse them all in gasoline and set them on fire. We are going from car to car, collecting donations.”

If this weren't a joke about a foreign (not mine) governmental body, which compels me to be dignified and diplomatically reserved, I would be laughing my head off

Here and now feeling pretty jittery -have been for the past couple of days I know it's energenic and probably tied into the full moon in leo. I have leo sun, leo ascendant and leo in Venus.... plus Neptune is in Pisces. As Tom says love love love...

You are a very kind person Rahkyt and are making room for the many excuses people give for not just getting on with it. You are enabling them is an sense, IMO. I believe the situation is as it was 2000 years ago when message delivered (Jesus?) was "the kingdom is at hand". The tools were given then to enter this kingdom, which is this planet with people acting like adults instead of perpetually wounded and sulking children. Forgiveness was the corner stone of this kingdom because it is the healer of all wounds. So Carmody positing his ideas is not really someplace else, but here and now with humanity giving up its penchant for playing in its' poop. The solution may be more than 2000 years old, but the ideas in the NT allow us to know that it is at least this old.

Yes, I stick up for underdogs too. Sometimes long past the time when they should be stuck up for, as you know, bredren. I'm working on it. You're probably right about this, if you're saying that the world is long past ready to move on, it's just the people on it that are holding it back.

It would be wonderful if it wasn't 'soimeplace else', like 5D earth, or 4D earth, or wherever D that some folks say we are going, but instead, right here on 3D earth, right all around us. To create this world where people have moved past those failings that Carmody pointed out in his amazing post would be to make of this world a garden and a paradise. I just wondered, as I was reading it, well, where would all of the people who did not live up to this conception go? Well, will everybody have to do it at the same time? How?

So I prefaced my comments with "someplace else entirely", as a nod to the ascensionists, who seem to want to go someplace else anyway.

If we're going to talk about putting an age to transcension of the self, then I'd rather think it is eternal, as what it is, really, is just a clearing of all of the material detritus that comes as a result of repeating lifetime after lifetime accumulating dross and then doing it all over again to pile onto an already voluminous heap of funkalicious worldly BEing-ness.

But, but, but.....

Here is my stuck-ness. My first handicap is that I cannot express what it is, as eloquently as others. I will hobble on, since its important to me right now.
If unconditional love means one wishes the other to be happy, where-ever they are, enabling is NOT being their warden.
From a point of clarity surely we have the chance to show the consequences of their behavior? Leonard Cohen says: There is a crack, a crack in everything, that's how the light gets in.
Speaking of crack, so you want me to hand the addict an overdose and say:- go-on you useless fellow human, take it, you are holding me back!
Or shout: Hey sailor, get off of the stage you fraud, I see your imperfections. You don't deserve love!
To deny love and compassion through their loneliness and pain, is to deny them a chance. Do I have my own system of denial by wishing others well? Of course. That's not the bigger picture.
This world is full of somnambulists....... that is how it is....

Like any pathogen, the parasites of this world are thriving in an unhealthy environment and that would be the psycho-emotional state of people. People like me and Carmody appear as hardasses picking on underdogs. These underdogs have many protectors because most families are a mix of awareness capabilities. People are getting the kind of cover that would make it appear they qualify for the Special Olympics. We both know this is not the case. The so called underdogs are really underachievers, addicts to lower emotional functioning. The worst enemy of any addict, aside from themselves, is the enabler. Enabling comes from love, to be sure, so it has a noble inspiration, but the effects are nothing short of devastating. The story, maybe true, of Jesus ending up hanging on a cross while a criminal went free is one of many alerting us to how most of humanity treats those who point out the shortcomings of our species. Almost every person wallowing in the muck has at least one enabler. So now we have at least two holding up progress. I feel progress would really leap forward without the coddling that goes on. This penchant for coddling, however noble, is actually another piece of the emotional puzzle that has to be overcome, IMO.

Do you think Boddhisatva's are coddlers, then? I'm afraid I don't agree with most of the perspective on the world that you put forth here. It's not my path although I recognize it as a valid choice and one that resonates to some. There are parasites among the over-dogs as well. Perhaps even more than among the under-dogs. Not a big fan of tough love either. But I definitely know it when I see it. And, way too often, it's a mask for a superiority complex.

No ego projections as the ego will have to go and thus those religions simply disappear under the weight of their own projections or egoic circular logic. Poof, they are gone.

And when all these things disappear, the ability for the current designed 'human avatar' to be a learning tool, a 'rubber baby buggy bumper' for the youngest of the incarnating and intrepid dimensionals, that has to disappear. those 'children' will be deprived of the ability to make what the duality layered avatar spirit feels are real mistakes, so they learn those lessons so powerfully. Thus, this extreme value to us to the current incarnated individuals, these bodies, this world, this place this insanity of perfection in the idea and reality of learning through extreme stress and fracturing and recovering..that will end. the beauty and power of those lessons will end for the younger ones. For the idea of 'children' to a 'mother' as a 'human' that does not exist, it never really did. it is only a local and locally useful representation of a reality it is not the true reality. (indigo children and whatnot, smarter than their parents, etc).

The very idea of projection of emotions as a feeling derived push (originating from the avatar), into any of this, that has to go.

Don't just seek detachment, achieve it through total knowing and being of what the system of incarnation actually is.

And so on.

Ultimately, from what I see out there, what I think and understand that all these events, all those moments of potential culmination have to build at the same time. For it is a system of 'soul inclusion' in an avatar, with seven billion different beings with 7 billion different paths of evolution and 7 billion different facets, 7 billion herky-jerky advancement/lessons.

Let me try again.
Seeking this detachment without projecting ego or superiority. Allowing space for rubber-baby-buggy-bumpers their own unfolding.

The parasites I am referring to are the overlords. The unhealthy environment are/is the masses who are too busy being on the wounded list to act as a proper immune system. The account request procedure on DeepThought asks the applicant several questions ("What is your name?", etc.) For its amusement value, it was suggested to me that I throw in the swallow question from the movie Monty Python and the Holy Grail. The question appears amidst those related to account creation, without any context shift, so I expected it be somewhat jarring and had no idea what sort of responses I would get. As it turns out, most of those who bother to enter anything either recognize the question or attempt to come up with a suitably silly answer. Jonathan Corum has attempted to actually estimate the answer to this question.

Below are the responses received from August 1993 through November 2005, ranked by the number of times each was given. The capitalization and punctuation is that of the first version of each response that was received. There were 4233 non-empty responses during this period; only those that consisted of at least three words are included here.
