Again I get roused via the screech of cockatoos

big silver poodle moved off my legs to come up and

Husband is now without secretary at his afternoon medical office, so I'm helping out as a receptionist.
It's another world here and now.
Traffic noises and with the rains having started, a cold wind is blowing in through the open door.

Been a while since I've checked in to Here and Now. Have tried to keep up with all the posts as much as time allows. All the pictures, music and joking have helped keep me sane and laughing at times when I need it the most.

Deeply embroiled in dealing with two broken systems, I have learned to become a bitch out of necessity. One cannot deal logically when confronted with twisted, illogical systems. Unfortunately, during this time I have had to become hardened...distasteful, but necessary in ensuring a favorable outcome for my son. We are not alone; and have not only taken a stand, but challenge existing paradigms for the many others who don't have the strength or the will to fight for themselves. Thankful for the little victories along the way, we are closer than ever to a positive outcome. I know it. I believe it. I see it happening.

Working in the garden, long walks and playing with my grandchildren are my salvation these days. Cooking 'with' the Happy Herbivore and spending long sessions at the piano...all these things help release the anger and frustration, carrying me back to a place of peace within...as does the everyday goings on in the Village Here and Now.

Spring is in the air, baby leaves are starting to show in trees, the nicest greens of the year. Early spring flowers are popping everywhere. Daffodils happily dancing in the wind singing their "look at me" happy song. The tree with whom I share space is getting ready to mesmerize me with a thousand flowers. I have been keeping busy, grateful to be spending time outside.

I've seen a bunch of wild turkeys from a distance today. There was a big male doing its seductive dance. Life is good.

and our smoke joined in the center
and spiraled up into the universe.
Then i saw many of these circles all
over the globe, and the smoke from
each connected into a larger funnel,
like a white tornado, that was transforming
and transfiguring any energies that needed
to be moved on and up and out of here.

It was up there in the more profound
journeys i have had. I was asked to be a part of this
group permanently, of course i said yes.

Sorry to be a pain, but what video?

I just changed the way that the video was presented in Post #1, to the same way as Cjay presented it in Post #5, using the [YOUTUBE] ... [/YOUTUBE] markup instead of the [VIDEO] ... [/VIDEO] markup. We (well, Ilie Pandia) have put more work into the YOUTUBE markup, so it works better when posting Youtube videos. You can use the icon, when posting or replying to a post, in order to get the [YOUTUBE] ... [/YOUTUBE] markup without having to type it all in.

This is for *YOUTUBE* videos only ... others vary.

1) Highlight the text address of the video you want to post.

2) Right click ... select "COPY"

3) Place cursor wherever in your text box you wish for the video to appear. Right click ... "PASTE"

4) Highlight the address you have just pasted then click on the "YouTube" button 3rd from right on top of the text box.

5) Click "Go Advanced" next to right beneath the text box.

6) There you will see what will be posted at the upper portion of the screen.

7) Once you are satisfied click "Submit Reply".

The way you have linked the video now is correct however, you could add information so that one can make a choice whether to watch or not.
There is a sandbox thread (here) where you can practice and get further tips.
