Yup. I grew up with benign neglect as well, great for fostering freedom and creativity ...

LOL Well you know we only had 3 channels of television back then, not 50 hundred thousand like kids do today. We were allowed to watch television on saturday mornings when cartoons came on and after school for about an hour and that's it. The rest of the time we had to be outside, playing. The only time we could come in was to eat or when my dad would whistle for us when the streetlights came on. Boy we would range far, and have all kinds of adventures. I couldn't imagine letting my kids be as free as we were back then these days. At least, not in any of the environments I've lived in since I've had kids.

I remember that time and space as almost magical in nature. Living in Northern California in Hippy country, I even had a brown leather vest with fringes. I made a list about my California Dreamin' and those movies that I saw back then a while back, just in pure wonderment at the quality and how these movies were so prescient in forecasting ideas that would become so important 30, 40 years later.

...and the more we do what we do purely and selflessly from the heart the more everybodies will see and feel the light...the light we shine together from Mother Earth OPENS the 'channel of allowance' oh so wide for the Higher Light to come on in and help as never ever before here and now : )
...imho, it IS what lets the 'Higher' open up to help in an unprecedented flow of wonderment!

I also think it helps ... increases the quotient for the collective so that whole 100th monkey thing can happen. I post up a lot of information on my FB and for months and years only those 'into' this stuff have really paid attention. But now, spiritual ideas and alternate social system ideologies are out there in the mainstream, so much so that it's almost become passe' to some. Harder to ignore as the 'world that has been pulled over our eyes' conforms more and more to what used to be conspiratorial whispers and are now rumbles and shakings of righteous uprising. People are awakening as their lives continue to make less and less sense.

Oh yes but it took me a long time to realise this.

LOL Back in the mid-90s I was involved in the infamous Flame Wars from the viewpoints of a budding Academic and the Afrocentric alternative perspective. Boy we would fight and argue. Spend hours crafting posts, researching, linking articles, quoting laboriously, firing salvos of sarcasm, deadpan irony and self-righteous ire across the bows of the indoctrinated and industrialized minds. I quit that in the mid 00s and took about 7 years off only to return and find the same things happening in more and more venues across the Net as the Awakening has deepened.

I expect it's an initiation of sorts. Everybody who comes into knowledge has to go thru that experience for a bit, maybe? Then the futility of it all becomes apparent and the realization that it is all vanity all but unavoidable.

We do what we want until we don't anymore.

Then it's time to move on ...

That's what love of truth does to you.
Until one day love of truth and love of unity stand side by side,
and yet another choice has to be made.
Which is it to be? I'm still learning, finding myself between those two chairs at times.
As the choice becomes more intensified, the chair analogy no longer works.
Now it's more like standing on a huge piece of ice in the middle of a vast ocean, and a crack appears between one's feet.
Slowly those two pieces of ice are moving apart, and one is forced to move onto one shoal or the other. Which is is to be?
This is where I'm at now. I will no longer insist on truth, no matter what. It only leads to arguments, which often cannot be resolved.
I'm herewith announcing that I am committing to unity. There are enough out there who are taking on liars.

[A cat is an animal that can transfer negative energies and he wants you to transfer them with him. He wants you to just sit down with him, take him on your lap and let all that is to feel in you arise... let it come to the surface and let it pass like a stream of water (that's how she said it).

My girlfriend says it is a cat with an old soul and he can be cross if he doesn't get his way. He has a very warm personality is that correct?
Every time you feel bad, just take the cat and give him a good hug. He wants you to do it and he helps you to get over it.!

Thank you Another Bob for the cat story. I did have the distinct impression that Romeo wanted to be in our room at night to protect us. That bothered me a bit, since I dont´t really want to believe in negative entities.

And thank you Marianne for the info on flower essences. I have just started using them again, after many years. Actually on my kids, but I should probably be using them on myself...

Aother thought about choices.
I started seeing "those numbers" in 1980. 1:11, 11:11, etc.
At the time I had no idea that this was happening to others as well
and always assumed that it was my father's spirit that telepathically guided me to look at a clock.
Then I found out in the nineties that the Solara movement ( website www.nvisible.com) was all about this, even though Solara didn't see the numbers until ten years after I began.

So here is several million people having the same experience, and as a result I quit attributing this to my dead father.
And gradually I noticed that not all number promptings came from good spirits or ETs.
There was mischief there at times.
So this resulted in my decision to send out extra prayers, to have only the highest and most loving spirits surround me.
Go to the top, as it were. And the top is the Creator of all that is. And then ask Him for protection from the best of the best.
And gradually the synchronicities led me back to Baha'u'llah. At the same time I have had Astrid clear some residue stuff for me. Both methods have sent confirmations, as if it's all related.
And I must say, my anxiety level has been reduced, remarkably so. One must consciously choose which spirits, ETs, EDs, one wants to send devotion to.
And devotion is the price you pay in return for protection and guidance.
Not a bad feeling or state of mind to walk around with, if you ask me.

I certainly hope you are enjoying this lovely day in Paradise!

When I met Mazie, I had an extensive wine cellar, but immediately lost all taste for alchohol to another kind of intoxication. I gave away my collection and haven't touched a drop since, but your pitcher of beer gesture is appreciated nevertheless, so I'll share a bit with you. I have posted some of this material at the Forum before, but a while ago, so most here have not likely seen it. First, I'm going to tell a little of Mazie's story, so you have some background:

It began for her when she was 2 years old, just as it did for me, but her experience was quite different than mine had been. One morning she was sitting out in the open field behind her house, when a voice from all directions - the earth, the sky, the hills, everywhere -- spoke to her with these words: "I Am". The words carried with them a component of unconditional love and assurance, and she was filled with an indescribable ecstasy.

When she was 4 years old, and Easter came around, her mother had just dressed her up especially for that Holiday. She was even given a little purse to carry, empty but pretty. That glorious morning, she wandered out into the fields behind her house, fields alive with bee balm and wildflowers and the buzz of spring bees. At a certain point, the light became incredibly bright, the sounds of the bees grew louder, and as she looked up, a Being of Light stood suddenly before her. It was garbed in a robe, shining bright white, with a hood, and emanated the most intense vibration of unconditional love. They stood there communing for some time, and then the Being vanished, but only after reminding her, "I am always with you". Then the light and sounds returned to normal. Mazie recognized this Being as the same one who had appeared to her two years prior in invisible form, proclaiming from all directions, "I Am". As she walked back to her house, she thought to look in her purse, and inside she found 3 shiny new pennies that had not been there when she first walked out into the field. For her, it was the most delightful treasure!

Later that same year, she was molested for the first time by her uncle. Several years later, she was again molested by her dentist. Not long after that, a Grey appeared in her room one night, and approached her bed. At the time, she thought it was some intruder with a motorcycle helmet on, and hid under the covers. She felt the being sit down on the bed, felt the bed squeak with the added weight, and the next thing she knew it was the morning of the next day. She told her parents about the person with the helmet, but they passed it off as a dream. Several nights later, she was visited by another being, a tall darkly-robed figure, but not the same one from her Easter experience. This one took her to a hill, where she was able to view the sky. When he pointed upward, she saw that the sky was filled with thousands of spaceships, as big as cities, and they were preparing for some kinds of battle. Up to this time, she had never known anything about spaceships, having been raised in relative rural poverty, without TV or trips to the movies.

At the age of 9, she was stricken with the most severe form of Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis, for which she was subjugated to the barbaric and primitive medical procedures of the time. She was forced to undergo hip replacements on both hips, which failed and needed to be re-done, necessitating months at a time of hospitalization. Prior to the onset of the disease, she had been a top athlete, and extremely popular with her peers. After she was stricken, she was made an outcast, with the cruelty born of fear that the herd can inflict on those with apparent weakness.

During that time, she developed a rare infection called Stevens-Johnsons Syndrome, which is usually 100% fatal. Somehow, by grace, she survived being manhandled by thoughtless physicians and ridiculous treatments. The horror stories she has shared of that time would curdle your blood! Somehow, she survived, although the disease would continue to progress, rendering her nights and days a perpetual torture. She was only given aspirin, and took so much she developed a bad case of tinnitus. Once, on her way to treatment, she was abducted at knifepoint, beaten, and raped. The perp was never apprehended.

By now, she had become a "cutter", mutilating herself with razors, and at one point was locked up in a psyche ward, where she was forced to endure unbelievable cruelties. Eventually she took a large dose of pills in an attempt to end her miserable life. She was discovered and taken to the hospital, but was pronounced dead. During that time, she entered into the light, was shown the bigger picture, told that it was not her time, and sent back. Once back in the body, she remained in a coma for three days, and then made a full recovery from the poisoning.

On the basis of the NDE, she plunged headlong into a deep inquiry, and although the Arthritis continued its crippling progress, she took up a form of spiritual practice called Kriya Yoga, was initiated by a direct disciple of Yogananda, and had many, many mystical experiences, in the course of which, she was given some extraordinary realizations.

She devoted as much time as possible to the practice over the next few years, although by now she had married and birthed 2 daughters (she's actually in the medical record books as being only the second person with a double hip replacement to deliver children). Her first husband died prematurely, and she was left penniless, and eventually homeless, all the while forced to endure an ever-worsening pain situation. In fact, she was in constant agony, and yet was forced to depend on a soup kitchen for nourishment for herself and her children.

Eventually, she joined up with a couple of other poor souls and found some meager lodging. She was able to get some minimal state assistance, and attempted to go to college, but the disease was implacable, and she was forced to drop that plan. During that time, two men abducted her at gunpoint, took her to a remote location in a van, and viciously raped her once again. This time, however, something happened. Instead of fear and revulsion, her heart melted and she instantly forgave them in the midst of the attack. She said that she felt an overwhelming love and understanding rise up in her heart, and although they had intended to kill her and dump her body, they instead drove her back and let her go free.

From there she increased her inquiry, plunging deep into her own being, and actually began using the constant agonizing pain as a prod to go deeper, until finally she underwent a profound awakening experience, in which she recognized that she was not the body, but rather, the source of all love itself. This experience was only the beginning of her spiritual transformation, and although there was no let-up from the pain, her position relative to the pain had changed, and she settled deeper and deeper into her true nature and divine condition.

When I first met her, ten years ago now, I knew instantly that she was my immortal Beloved. We had shared many lives together, and were here now to complete something that had begun in pre-existence. I left everything immediately to be with her, including nearly a million dollars of assets. Within a month of first contact, we were living together, and extraordinary experiences and synchronicities began showering on us in a constant stream of amazing grace.

Wanting to be done with any distraction, we built a cabin high in the Northern Cascade Mountain range, and undertook an intense period of three years of uninterrupted spiritual investigation together, 24/7. What an amazing experience! I watched over time as she continued her rapid transformation. It began manifesting physically. For example, whatever tree or plant she touched began to blossom. Then I noticed birds and animals from all over would come right up to be near her. As time progressed, I found that, by merely entering into her near proximity, I myself would be plunged into a mindless ecstasy, my knees would literally buckle, and I could hardly catch my breath. This forced me in turn to go deeper, opening myself more and more to the power of that same love, melting down one level of resistance after another, until I was able to simply embrace her physical form without passing out.

We began to document this time through poetry, since it seemed the only written language that was apropos for sharing with our friends. Much of what I wrote is posted on my blog: http://feelingtoinfinity.wordpress.com/, while hers is scattered in threads at various Yahoo Groups in which we had participated. We wrote a book together, which is currently unpublished, called "The Three Hundred Missing Poems of Han Shan". She has recently started a blog, and I will pass on the url when she is able to get some content published there. I just got her a laptop so she can work more comfortably from her recliner, since sitting at a desk is not possible for more than a few minutes these days.

Remarkable experiences and events have continued to occur, too numerous to document. Not long ago, for example, she was standing on a table, trying to put a cover over a tall birdcage we had temporarily placed there while preparing a room for our parakeets, when she lost her footing. As she fell, she was caught in mid-air, turned right-side up, and gently lifted down to the ground in slow-motion. The same thing happened a bit earlier in our garden, where again she had taken a head-long fall, but was caught in mid-air and gently placed on the ground in slow-motion. We mostly find ourselves just shaking our heads and smiling to each other about this sort of stuff. There are many things I cannot write about even here -- there just are no suitable words, and anyway they are between her and me, as they were meant to be, but I did want to share something of what our life has been like, and how we just go deeper and deeper together, with no pause or retreat.

Although she has suffered more than any other human I've even known, she is now the happiest person I've ever been privileged to meet. Her pain and suffering have translated into a genuine capacity for compassion, and to my mind, that has been its main purpose. Moreover, the innocent child-like joy she takes in even the most common things in life never ceases to delight me. Yes, she continues to suffer mightily from the deteriorating disease, sometimes moaning out in agony, and yet at the same time she will share that she has never been happier, because she knows that she is nothing but love, pure unconditional love, and that is where her true identity remains, even in the midst of unspeakable physical distress, and her free bliss permeates our life, and those whom she touches remember that touch always.

Since that night, I have never been troubled by allergies to cats, although I do pay more attention to where I am going when walking in the woods.

Yes indeed, my Friend! Moreover, that particular cat, whom I never named, was definitely some sort of magical being. For example, on full moon nights we would meet in the fields and dance together. He would get up on his hind legs, flip himself over in the air, and generally rock out like a little dervish!

I think he later reincarnated as our cat Mogan, who adopted us when we were living in the Cascades:

I was "told" (in a way) to keep my eye out for Scooter as a Norwegian Forest Cat. not all that common around here, (and often pricey .. I prefer free or rescued), but I looked them up and that is definitely a type of cat that works for me! Hardy (good for Canadian winters), outdoorsy, and extremely sociable. Can't wait!

Yes. You are right about that. My only personal perspective is as one whose entire life was spent training to take up the greater cause of equality within the auspices of the system. At a certain point, ABD in a PhD program with nothing left but to write 60 pages of my dissertation, I quit when I realized the kind of man I would have to become if I followed that path to its inevitable conclusion. An Academic for hire, a model, a token, beholden to corporate handouts for research that carefully conformed to the party-line. That is when I lost everything and the Dark Night of the Soul set in for a 2 year period of recapitulation, self-analysis and just plain worldliness. I believed in nothing. No God. Not even myself. I wallowed. This continued, until the legendary city of Shambhala reappeared in my consciousness.

LOL I know that sounds cliched, but we like cliches around here, i seem to recall from a conversation some days ago yàll were having.

Making that choice of which piece of ice to stand on can certainly change the path of a life.

Now, I`m coming to the understanding that we each must do what we came here to do. There is something that we possess, some ability, some knowledge, that only we can share in a very particular way for a very particular reason.

Exactly! I grew up in San Francisco in the 50s. Play till five outside on weekdays, take classes as well, some willingly, some not, Saturdays was 8-12 noon, clean house, 1-5 PM my time as long as I reported where I was going (Golden Gate Park, ice skating on 48th, Chinatown, Japan Town, North Beach, swimming at Larson Pool, Libraries around town, Cliff House, hiking around the fallen Sutro Baths, museums, De Young, Palace of the Legion of Honor, beaches around town usually as a gaggle of siblings and cousins, who lived around the corner (except the libraries, did the libraries on my own). Street cars are an extreme blessing to kids in search of adventure.

I certainly would not allow any children in my charge similar freedom to what we enjoyed. The world is a darker place for children now.

Here is to moving faster and faster, cycle and clear ...

We saw Grey Fox this morning, with our coffee on the deck.

David and I fell and crashed. Extremely old unfinished and uncleared issue. That must be Pluto. I started to say that is not true, here is an example of unilateral no negotiation allowed behavior, and flipout ensued, threats of suicide and divorce. I was simply sick of never being acknowledged on the issue, and I got enough out, that we are now both clear both of us have been aware of this unfinished business all along. It will be talked about now, eventually, hopefully without such heavy drama.

I ask the Village for clear intent for clearing, healing, clarity, humility, awareness of other, support from our guides and HSelves, protection from interference or confusion, when we get aroundtoit. Thank you village.

Here is what I thought in relationship to energy. When words like divorce and suicide are thrown around, they have impact. Last time, it was I lacked compassion. So, the next day, I ask do you really think I lack compassion? A grudging shrug, and lowered voice no. I've started to realize, honesty is important in terms of energy theft. If I do not hear the words taken back the next day, then an inner dialogue of questioning starts up. Because I just can't believe someone is really flipping out like this, over an event that occurred in a shared relationship. That it must not be spoken of, and has not been spoken of in ... seven years. Because every time I began to approach the subject, extreme emotional response would occur. This becomes draining. So, I've incorporated a clean up routine in my toolbox. If he has said what to me are hostile and negative statements, I will confirm the next day whether they were meant or not. I refuse to carry that behavior, that silence, anymore.

And I want to get closure on this old issue, I want a change in how we handle issues, being told to shut up just will not work anymore, but man it was rough going for it. Scary. Risky. Seems a perfect example of WHY I would rather just let issues go, though it doesn't go, and energy is still working under the surface and probably misdirected and therefore behavior that is pretty impossible to decipher, since it has nothing to do with what is going on in front of your face.

God, this is hard work.

Hmm, I've been thinking about energy for awhile. Today's event precipitated further thought. I've been thinking about the intensity of feeling with online relationships and how can that be, since we communicate only in symbols. Then I thought, well we communicate in symbols in person, only the symbols are noises so what is the difference, and why is it the same anyway? It is energy, it is the same energy. Energy is not bound by time and space, we *are* connected. On some level, I know and experience the gentleness of Marianne, ViralSpiral's love for life, the snap and crackle of Ulli, Rahkyt's curiosity, a sardonic wizard devoted to honesty, (a raptor is soaring) Eaglespirit always lifting me up... and me picking up fearless otherkind, after awhile, you gotta ask yourself, okaaay, is this real? Then I tell myself, yer nuts.

But my nutsies persist.

I *really* don't want to post this (my reptile brain is droning "deletedeletedeletedelete"), but in honor of fellow members bravery in the face of terror, lol, I will.

LOL Well you know we only had 3 channels of television back then, not 50 hundred thousand like kids do today. We were allowed to watch television on saturday mornings when cartoons came on and after school for about an hour and that's it. The rest of the time we had to be outside, playing. The only time we could come in was to eat or when my dad would whistle for us when the streetlights came on. Boy we would range far, and have all kinds of adventures. I couldn't imagine letting my kids be as free as we were back then these days. At least, not in any of the environments I've lived in since I've had kids.

Exactly! I grew up in San Francisco in the 50s. Play till five outside on weekdays, take classes as well, some willingly, some not, Saturdays was 8-12 noon, clean house, 1-5 PM my time as long as I reported where I was going (Golden Gate Park, ice skating on 48th, Chinatown, Japan Town, North Beach, swimming at Larson Pool, Libraries around town, Cliff House, hiking around the fallen Sutro Baths, museums, De Young, Palace of the Legion of Honor, beaches around town usually as a gaggle of siblings and cousins, who lived around the corner (except the libraries, did the libraries on my own). Street cars are an extreme blessing to kids in search of adventure.

I certainly would not allow any children in my charge similar freedom to what we enjoyed. The world is a darker place for children now.

Here is to moving faster and faster, cycle and clear ...

Indeed! But they know why they are here, even tho the glimmer and glitz of the world distracts and beckons ever, these children are precocious in a way beyond us at a similar age ...

I've started to realize, honesty is important in terms of energy theft. If I do not hear the words taken back the next day, then an inner dialogue of questioning starts up. Because I just can't believe someone is really flipping out like this, over an event that occurred in a shared relationship. That it must not be spoken of, and has not been spoken of in ... seven years. Because every time I began to approach the subject, extreme emotional response would occur. This becomes draining. So, I've incorporated a clean up routine in my toolbox. If he has said what to me are hostile and negative statements, I will confirm the next day whether they were meant or not. I refuse to carry that behavior, that silence, anymore.

And I want to get closure on this old issue, I want a change in how we handle issues, being told to shut up just will not work anymore, but man it was rough going for it. Scary. Risky. Seems a perfect example of WHY I would rather just let issues go, though it doesn't go, and energy is still working under the surface and probably misdirected and therefore behavior that is pretty impossible to decipher, since it has nothing to do with what is going on in front of your face.

God, this is hard work.

Indeed it is. Necessary work for us all. I was married to a `petty tyrant`for a decade. I did not mention above, but my leaving Academia and going thru the Dark Night coincided with the end of my marriage as well and the `loss`of 3 of my children ... The energy exchange of those situations can be unbelievably intense and the reverberations can linger for the span of the relationship, if we let them, leading to even further compromises and karmic debts as things continue to evolve in the direction WE CHOOSE ...

I've been thinking about the intensity of feeling with online relationships and how can that be, since we communicate only in symbols. Then I thought, well we communicate in symbols in person, only the symbols are noises so what is the difference, and why is it the same anyway? It is energy, it is the same energy. Energy is not bound by time and space, we *are* connected. On some level, I know and experience the gentleness of Marianne, ViralSpiral's love for life, the snap and crackle of Ulli, Rahkyt's curiosity, a sardonic wizard devoted to honesty, (a raptor is soaring) Eaglespirit always lifting me up... and me picking up fearless otherkind, after awhile, you gotta ask yourself, okaaay, is this real?

ANOTHER great storyteller. Your accurate depictions of personality here always bring a smile to my face. The context determines the way we define the energy, doesn`t it ... you know what they say, a thin line between love and hate ...

It began for her when she was 2 years old, just as it did for me, but her experience was quite different than mine had been. One morning she was sitting out in the open field behind her house, when a voice from all directions - the earth, the sky, the hills, everywhere -- spoke to her with these words: "I Am". The words carried with them a component of unconditional love and assurance, and she was filled with an indescribable ecstasy.

When she was 4 years old, and Easter came around, her mother had just dressed her up especially for that Holiday. She was even given a little purse to carry, empty but pretty. That glorious morning, she wandered out into the fields behind her house, fields alive with bee balm and wildflowers and the buzz of spring bees. At a certain point, the light became incredibly bright, the sounds of the bees grew louder, and as she looked up, a Being of Light stood suddenly before her. It was garbed in a robe, shining bright white, with a hood, and emanated the most intense vibration of unconditional love. They stood there communing for some time, and then the Being vanished, but only after reminding her, "I am always with you". Then the light and sounds returned to normal. Mazie recognized this Being as the same one who had appeared to her two years prior in invisible form, proclaiming from all directions, "I Am"

Then I noticed birds and animals from all over would come right up to be near her. <snip>

Remarkable experiences and events have continued to occur, too numerous to document. Not long ago, for example, she was standing on a table, trying to put a cover over a tall birdcage we had temporarily placed there while preparing a room for our parakeets, when she lost her footing. As she fell, she was caught in mid-air, turned right-side up, and gently lifted down to the ground in slow-motion. The same thing happened a bit earlier in our garden, where again she had taken a head-long fall, but was caught in mid-air and gently placed on the ground in slow-motion. We mostly find ourselves just shaking our heads and smiling to each other about this sort of stuff.

Her pain and suffering have translated into a genuine capacity for compassion, and to my mind, that has been its main purpose. Moreover, the innocent child-like joy she takes in even the most common things in life never ceases to delight me. Yes, she continues to suffer mightily from the deteriorating disease <snip> and those whom she touches remember that touch always.

I have no trouble believing what you say. I've seen the above in someone near and dear to me. She works with the dark side, and I described her somewhat in that poem. Those events occurred, and many more.

She's always had what I call TV siddhis. Since she's chair-bound a lot, she has the tv on. Almost always now, we'll be talking about something, no matter how obscure, and immediately the tv will present something that directly echoes the converstion. Lately, we'll say something, and the tv character or commercial or announcer will repeat the same word or phrase, and almost simultaneously, with a split-second delay. It cracks us up, but who would believe us, so we don't talk much about, but agree that there's a big Comedian lurking behind the scenes, amusing themselves to no end! LOL!

She mergeth into the ether, and becometh one with what is there lol.
