Because of the people he lives with, who may be dangerous for her, I forbid her to go to his place. Results: I am lodging and feeding the ... thing... on week ends. Over and above the fact that he is with her. I truly do not know what to do and how to react.

Great that Mini-Flash is learning about boundaries and compromise from you. Hopefully, it’ll help her see that compromise goes both ways between you and she.

She told me not to worry, she is Young and will certainly change boyfriend as some point. Wow, a mix of wisdom and stupidity, what do I do with this.

Dear Avalon Family,
I don't like to be the one to have to ask for help, I tend to be the one who likes to extend help when asked. However, my family has been going through a series of difficulties lately,. The most important is that my mom is having a series of health problems which I believe from researching on the internet are gallbladder attacks. She does not take any kind of medicine and has not been to a doctor in over twenty five years which is probably why she has had good health up until now.

I was reminded by Ulli that there are many talented healers here. I am going to get the ingredients to do a homeopathic gallbladder cleanse on her tomorrow. I would also like to ask for your prayers and healing energies if permissible.

I want to extend the warmest thanks and gratitude in advance of your efforts. Just sending her a prayer or a happy thought may make all the difference in the world in restoring her quality of life

Me, I've been avoiding them like the plague. Too much death two lives back. I'm still a decent point shooter, and a decent marksman. I tried a .22 rifle about 1.5 months back, and put about 10 rounds through the same hole.

Well, I was once a tomboy, and dad gave me a 0.22 rifle when I was nine. Had fun with that, and my little brother had a pellet gun.
So we had fun shooting at bottles we had filled with water, until dad got mad because we didn't pick up the broken glass afterwards. And the first time I shot a bird, and to my surprise it dropped dead to the ground, it made me cry. So that was it.
Never held another gun after that, and now use other forms of defense. Here just a sign that says "Perro Bravo", which means 'fierce dog', will keep people at bay. If things become really rough I might put up another sign, that says "armed to the teeth" .

Guess if we watched some funny geese today running around in an upright position, one of them a "relative" to the wild duck with the same colors, wings cut though...and this one talking about a free ride...

Just a passing thought for my favorite uncle, Uncle Julius, who finally was able to leave this world last nite. He was a self-made man. He bought three volks wagon bettles from the scrap yard and put together one perfect bug. He did this when he was staying with us when I was a child. Once the bug was finished he drove it out west and never looked back. Over the years he just kept working until he owned the only Volkswagon repair shop in downtown Vancouver, which later he rented to another person to run for him. He loved the ocean so he learned to sail. He always wanted a log cabin, so he built one with his own two hands. The only thing I did not like was when he beat my father in a tree climbing contest.

Even my father came to think of him as a brother. Funny that because I think of him as the brother I never had, too.

When his daughter was kidnapped by his ex-wife and taken back to Holland, he tirelessly petitioned the government for her extradiction and went several times to look for her, giving up only when both her daughter and ex died in a car crash some years later. He married again and had two beautiful daughters. He will be missed by his wife and daughters, his family and friends.

May God bless you and Walli and Christine and Vivian, may you all find peace. And may you, Jula, find happy adventures in a new and healthy body - there is no doubt a man who loves freedom and testing his limits like you do will be coming back for more. I love you and have looked up to you, although you may not know it. You were my hero, still are. The only man I know who can match me for doing things for yourself without asking if that's alright with everyone.

And if you could, would you stop by and see from your new perspective what it is that keeps me from succeeding like you did, and somehow let me know? I'd surely appreciate it.

And if you could stop by mom and give her a bit of comfort that would go a long way. She is already weak from grandma passing. And now her brother, the only one from the family who lived nearby, has also gone. Please do not let it get in her head that it is now her turn. She always wanted to live to one hundred and has lived her life to get there. I know you will do what you can.

Good luck, Julius. You will be missed terribly. I love you.
