Were Sid and Lily banned or did they unsubscribe themselves? I crashed out early last night. I was trying to bump, what i thought were good threads, I didnt realise things had got so heavy. There's too many posts for me to go through now, what happened? David Icke was here before I slept, lord knows what he must think!

Il miss Sid. He helped me find my way round Av when I first joined. I was computer illiterate and he was so kind. He also owned his past mistakes and would have this time too. I think it all just got out of hand.

About Lily and LS:
I also enjoyed their positive offerings and will miss them.
But they dug their own graves, in a way. It was so obvious quite a while ago already.

Gave me some great insights.

So many people search for happiness and what they think is best.
But only a few remember two very important things:
context and consequence.
Very important to remember if one wants to keep life on track and away from trauma.

There are always painful things happening to us, and they can make us grow.
but with trauma the wounds are a little too deep. Scars from that never, or only rarely, heal.

Wishing both the best now. Their lives will go on with or without Avalon.

Here the garden is fragrant after an early morning shower.
Sunday morning, hence only bird noises and some rain drops landing on leaves outside my window.
No traffic on the road yet.

I believe that Sid is not happy because the world is going to hell and people are debating the use of the word "nugget". This forum is supposed to help people wake up.

Things will balance out, take some time out, and think what you are looking for form the site, and you will find your answer.

It is hard to take when a valued member leaves, and no doubt L Sid will return, with a different perspective on the situation. It isn't about the use of a particular word, it is about how the written style might affect others, we need to consider other people and how we interact within a community as it is not about YOU, it is about US.

The first thing you owe yourself is your happiness, and that cannot be conditioned by the world.
If it depends on getting others to see things one's own way it can only be a temporary thing.
The pursuit of inner peace leads to results the moment one stops identifying with ideologies.

They are not dead, you know. The dimensional difference between this forum and an e-mail exchange is minimal.
I could ask Lily if I could share her e-mail address with you. I talked with her only yesterday.
She gave it to me as she knew she was going to be unsubscribed.

Unfortunately I don't have Lord Sid's e-mail. But I'm sure there are many here who do have it.

Here and now, it's a lovely, sunny day in Phoenix, AZ, and I'm feeling a bit down. Took a 5-HTP and hope it will help.
