What I'm trying to say with my earlier post (second last) is that you cannot simply buy wisdom by flipping a nickel at it. You have to live it, and that means all it's myriad colors, both the horror and the beauty..... and find your own balance point within.
More on perfection. Jorge-Luis Borges describes The Invention of Morel, a novella by Adolfo Bioy Casares, as being perfect, i.e. everything in place with no loose ends, both narratively and fictionally. It is the story of how a fugitive on a now desert island discovers that he is witnessing a hologram, with people coming and going who are not actually there, except on a spring tide that triggers the projection. He contrives to get into the technical area, where he manages to put the machine on record in order to insert himself into a scenario chatting up the heroine whose every move and word he knows by heart.

There is of course a gaping hole in all this perfection. This story was written thirty or forty years before video cassette recorders came on the market, and for anyone who has tried to operate one of those, this guy has to throw the mother of all magic switches to get this machine to work, ‘flipping a nickel at it’ if you will. Nothing is ever complete or seamless, as the sculptor Rodin knew well. He liked to show just bits and even the seams from his plaster casts.

These are not flaws but indications of the technical area, the backshop that makes anything possible. What you see is the result of what you don’t see. In other words, our 3D world is a projection from a higher dimension.
In the context that I used it, 'flipping a nickel' at the given point of contention is the psychology of self importance tied to the act of doing little to nothing. Bass-ackwards while feeling correct from the origin point. Like a rich man in modern times giving nickels to starving children, all the while telling them 'don't spend it all in one place'. In modern time's a nickel cannot even buy a serviette, never mind even the least expensive single candy, which is probably 50 cents to a dollar these days. The most "?" of self important, illiterate, and possibly incredibly ignorant and ego driven 'lip service' that is possible. an act that could be ignorant or even purposeful. 'Lip service' is a, uhm er...synonym.

a twisted representation might be like this:

(I just wanted people to see that newspaper quote, there is no other real reason for this post)

To make myself clearer, the character in the book does something pretty smart in order to step into the limelight, while the author of the story gets away with not doing very much, simply stating that it was done. The 'perfect' novella has this one very short sentence of very bad story-telling, aka magic, much in the way the Big Bang narrative relies (I forget who said this) on an ever so brief (10^-43 seconds?) suspension of the laws of dynamics. The tiny impurity that starts off the pearl or the immaculate snowflake. The act of willing something into being. The creative process is nothing but a step in the right direction from one imperfect state to the next.

This has been a weird (it's always weird for me, but not like this) and a clumsy week for me, I burnt my hand on the oven rack, knocked my knee, broke my glasses and yesterday my dog broke my plate and ate my pizza! Still thankfully nothing serious like broken bones, only some frustration. Where is Yoda when I need him the most? Sigh. I think that I might have been a Jedi "A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...."

Did you check your chart? When I have a Uranus transit I lose my natural coordination...especially when Mars makes a square to my natal Uranus. And now Mars is coming to the opposition point (in Libra, at the 13th degree) to Uranus in Aries (also at 13 degrees) hence 180 degree opposition.
We could expect a period of collective klutziness.

I just checked the transits from Cafe Astrology, it says this:

Quote -133 Opposition Neptune - Mercury

Challenging aspect: You may have problems concentrating at work. You could be distracted, even "deaf" to others, or inattentive. You may be dissipated and not apply yourself. Your professional life may suffer from such behavior. Hassles seem to abound now.

    -78 Square Neptune - Mars

Challenging aspect: You may be prone to fear or an overworked imagination during this rather long-term transit that can last for some months. There is a lot of drama with this position. You could lose control of your actions because you have difficulty in controlling yourself, and in thinking things through.

    -37 Square Uranus - Neptune

Neptune opposition to Mercury is definitely challenging. Uncertainty, losing stuff, also one is susceptible to escapism ...and the transit to Mars is even more so.
It becomes difficult to make simple choices and decisions, as everything is just one huge blur.

Dreams could be interesting at this time, maybe some interstellar battles. Enjoy.

Now how did you know that? During the past few nights my dreams have felt more real & physical than in a long while. In one of the dreams I thought that I was drowning and I actually physically felt the water around me, but then I started to ascend. It felt like a liberation, or surfacing. Before that I was ready to die and I just let go. Then in another dream I met some important people whom with I have interacted or have followed in real life and in the last dream I indeed did battle with some annoying creatures, though that wouldn't be the first time.

I'm always susceptible to escapism because I tend to be a dreamer.

I would have placed the song 'dreamer' by Supertramp, in here, but Supertramp has severe sharing issues.

They've gone after every single person who ever put one of their songs up, in the studio version form. Only the public live performances are seemingly able to get away with being put up on yootoob, as that can sometimes be ambiguous, as to ownership.

Which is Ironic, as a friend was concert promoter, back in the day..and he said that Supertramp absolutely sucks live and can't perform their way out of a paper bag.

Which is Ironic..this whole prevention of the playing of their well constructed studio efforts...as.. all that people hear and see of Supertramp, is their terrible live performances. The real effect here...is the greed of whomever is doing this... in it...Supetramp writes their own death and downturn. The internet is about the continuity of being in the public eye and their continuity is just crappy live performances. So no one cares. And they fade away.

I forgot one of the dreams, which felt incredibly real too...

I was basically shown this, but it was much larger and I saw an opening to inner Earth. I still have no idea what it meant, all I know that it was awe-inspiring.

Quote "Caverns" is the first book in a (currently) four book series by Mr. O'Donnell. As the title implies, the focus is on a character named McGill Feighan. In this first book, the origin of McGill and the start of his adventurous life is revealed. "Caverns" is at first a light-hearted read, but you soon find yourself drawn into the life of the hero, his triumphs and despair. McGill is a "flinger", a person who can teleport anything (himself, other people, things) anywhere that he's been before. But even for a flinger, he does not lead a normal life due to unusual events in his life, when he was a newborn. Much of the story revolves around McGill's growing-up and learning to deal with his powers, as well as the assortment of people and aliens that take an interest in his life (both good and bad).

I looked up my transits for the first time the other day. Next week, we are planning on a rare trip. One of these transits suggests that I would be much better staying at home. I'm sure my wife's chart will be saying that's it's about time we got away, so I'll go with that. And I have a hunch Carmody will be telling us the whole planet should be downing tools till further notice, or something of that sort

When a transit occurs it doesn't really matter whether one is at home or out.
Tests, pains and trials can be caused by a rag nail, a neighbour making noise, a flight delay, anything....

And please believe me, I have tried to escape or by-pass dreaded transits during the last 30 years with all my might.
Even if you stay in bed with the covers over your head, you can still get a toothache that can drive you insane.

My recent transit, Neptune opposite Saturn...I had figured that going to Barbados (a country that even has Neptune on the national flag)
to establish myself in business (Saturn) again would be the best way to use the energies.
Then I got that toothache, and had to have a tooth pulled. ...well, Saturn rules teeth and Neptune rules abscesses and infections.

The outcome is always spiritual development, and a knowledge that the universe is infinite in all directions.
Maintaining a positive attitude is the only way to go, no matter what.
Here is my transit burden, caused by an inner ear infection (not tooth ache as i first thought). This was yesterday, as written to a friend:

i have been extremely sick, ended up in hospital all day today with loads of intravenous antibiotics. The doctor was worried of me losing my hearing or getting scepticemia.. The bacterial spread was extremely fast. I have to go back saturday morning for a hearing exam and i have to go back if my face swell again.

it is most probably an inner otitis (inner ear infection) that spread fast, my whole right side of hte face got swollen, my jawbone were hurting, i could not eat anymore, or ove or touch that side of the face, gosh, surprising. When the doctor check in the ear, the ear canal was closed up and he had to force it, i screamed like hell. Prior to that, I was litterally dancing with pain. Those are painful men!!

So they got me 2 series of intravenous antibiotics twice plus morphine all day and despite the morphine I would still feel acute pain, completely stoned out

I am back home, now, the swelling had decrease but I am still sick

For an hospital in a country where it is free, they only keep you if it is serious, that they kept me all day and make me come back tells me that happily, I did not wait a few more days, which I would have done if I would have had to pay, and probably gotten the infection widespread then.

Hourray for public tax funded hospitals. It does save lifes and makes one get the important treatments on a timely basis.

I am now at home and will rest because next week i have a big exam for a job opportunity I truly truly truly want.

Love to you all, after pain, you all look exceptional and real lovely.

Hi Flash, I'm so sorry that you went through all that pain. I had a pretty nasty time with my toothache a month ago, which I still remember clearly.
Anyway, I had a look t your chart and could not see what was going on that would have triggered such a painful ear infection. The only transit which was exact was Chiron trine your Saturn. I have heard of malignant trines before...normally trines are benign. Then I saw it....Saturn (in Scorpio) had hit the midpoint between your Saturn/ Moon conjunction.
Midpoint transits are harder to spot. So you can put this down to the second Saturn return...and the moon is of course all about sensitivity...so lets hope you cleared out some ancient Karma and can now start on a fresh new cycle, all renewed.
When Scorpio is involved pains can be hellish.

That is sooooooo strange Ulli, I had not told anybody and I rarely think that way, but i had the feeling that i was clearing something, some old karmic debts, or something having to do with not hearing, or not wanting to hear, or hearing the wrong things.

I went to a meditation class last week end, with a very developed (spiritually) teacher, and someone ask me to ask him a question because for some reasons she could not, and he blasted me with one short sentence for asking too much from the head instead of the heart. He was right, I had mentally processed the question to be able to ask, and it was not my question.

The feeling was "OK OK" like a clueless teenager, then a feeling of well, crying, holding up my throat got very soar, then a feeling of rejection, etc etc and all those images from the past emerging in cascades. Images of the fear to speak from the heart and wanting to disappear, not be noticed, in a small corner in a basement, to hide. It went on for 24 hours, then this terrible ear infection.

It resonnated a bit like once, when Carmody wrote on a post to tell me to stop writing about the fairy love kind - you know, the love and light wanting too much to be love lol. He was right too. However my reaction was not as drastic lol.

I know something will change or is / has changed

One lesson for sure: don't mix in somebody else's incapacities and salvation demands, and ask yourself if a question is worth asking, finally speak from the heart (I do not mean emotions here, but heart).

For those who do not know, my daughter nicknamed me the scientific mom lol. Although i am far from being as brilliant as some here, I do have a tendency to be intellectual and I love science.

Thanks Ulli for checking my chart and your comments.
