Well it will also cut short my winter here,
that has to be good! Oregon in July, has to be better than
dreary Melb in winter, It's a study trip, but if i can wangle to
meet some other US online friends, i will do for sure.

Maybe a stop over in South American even,
    hmmmm....
Nothing set in stone yet as far as dates on getting a group of Avalonians to meet at the Ranch (summer schedule has not been set yet).

That said ... the unofficial target time mentioned by giovonni was the June 30 - July 7 timeframe. I can update here (or else Gio will) when we know more.

That could put you "in the right place at the right time" .... hmmmm ... how'd that happen???

When I am in control of my entire environment, happiness is generally assured. I am in uncharted territory working with new things and situations that reside a little outside of my comfort zone.

Jackovesk has posted a great interview of Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan and Alex Jones. Great discussion on humanity waking up, social media impact on music today, occupy etc. They even discussed how musicians these days don't speak out anymore unlike artists such as Neil Young and Lennon etc back in the day. My friend and I had the same discussion the other day. Anyway check it out if you've time, it's a great interview.

One of those odd nights where I was given a good dressing down (past two hours) by one of my friends about following through, and the value of keeping your mouth shut. My point was that things should get out there. He returned with the issue of: who.... and how is it used? He regaled me with a story about how one time, about 30 years back, approx, he had a discussion with a scientific researcher about humanity in some specific aspects (which I'm not mentioning in the specific). He explained to the guy about how things really work, in detail.

That other person ran off and wrote it all down. And that person has now become known as a person who changed the fundamentals of how humanity looks at itself. This got him onto the cover of more than one magazine. But........ he did it on my friend's ideas and understandings.

I returned with the thing of: Yes, but is it also a good thing that the information got out there, at that level? Is that the more fundamental thing, in the final analysis?

Your friend seems to be stuck in an egoic, proprietary, scarcity based way of thinking. Cashing in on an idea is the kind of thinking that needs to go so free-energy devices can be made possible. I know they already exist, but the idea is now in our morphogenetic field and can find an oulet from any mind trained and/or equipped to bring it through and into production. Patents are how you let the controllers know you might be onto something. The only reason for a patent is to cash in. Free energy is the gateway to a cashless society because energy scarcity has been the glue of manipulation on this planet.

    My thoughts anyway.

Reminds me of a song idea i had, middle eighties.
It just wouldn't go. I didn't manage to record it, just 'carried it around'.
And, little later, i find that both The Alarm and The Chameleons had made two different songs out of "it".
Some things [all ? things] are just waiting to be picked up, and manifest.
Seems like it wants to be born.

    Morning you beautiful people.

On the drive into work just now, hadn't heard this in ages, hope you like it....

    linky:

    Wordies:
Ladies and Gentlemen of the class of í97
    Wear Sunscreen
If I could offer you only one tip for the future,
    sunscreen would be it.
The long term benefits of sunscreen have been proved by scientists,
whereas the rest of my advice has no basis more reliable than my own meandering experience
I will dispense this advice now.

Enjoy the power and beauty of your youth, oh nevermind,
you will not understand the power and beauty of your youth until they've faded.
But trust me, in 20 years youíll look back at photos of yourself
and recall in a way you canít grasp now, how much possibility lay before you
and how fabulous you really looked,
you are not as fat as you imagine.

Donít worry about the future, or worry, but know that worrying is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubblegum.
The real troubles in your life are apt to be things that never crossed your worried mind, the kind that blindside you at 4pm on some idle Tuesday.

Do one thing everyday that scares you

    Sing

Donít be reckless with other peopleís hearts,
donít put up with people who are reckless with yours.

    Floss

Donít waste your time on jealousy, sometimes youíre ahead, sometimes youíre behind,
the race is long, and in the end, itís only with yourself.

Remember the compliments you receive, forget the insults,
if you succeed in doing this, tell me how.

Keep your old love letters, throw away your old bank statements.

    Stretch

Donít feel guilty if you donít know what you want to do with your life,
the most interesting people I know didnít know at 22
what they wanted to do with their lives,
some of the most interesting 40 year olds I know still donít.

    Get plenty of calcium.

Be kind to your knees, youíll miss them when theyíre gone.

Maybe youíll marry, maybe you wonít, maybe youíll have children, maybe you wonít,
    Maybe youíll divorce at 40,
Maybe youíll dance the funky chicken on your 75th wedding anniversary
What ever you do, donít congratulate yourself too much or berate yourself either
Your choices are half chance, so are everybody elseís.
Enjoy your body, use it every way you can, donít be afraid of it,
or what other people think of it, itís the greatest instrument youíll ever own

Dance, even if you have nowhere to do it but in your own living room.

Read the directions, even if you donít follow them.

Do not read beauty magazines, they will only make you feel ugly.

Brother and sister together we'll make it through
Someday a spirit will take you and guide you there
I know you've been hurtin, but I've been waitin' to be there for you
And I'll be there just helping you out whenever I can

Get to know your parents, you never know when theyíll be gone for good.

Be nice to your siblings, they are the best link to your past
and the people most likely to stick with you in the future.

Understand that friends come and go, but for the precious few you should hold on.
Work hard to bridge the gaps in geography and lifestyle because the older you get,
the more you need the people you knew when you were young.

Live in New York City once, but leave before it makes you hard,
Live in Northern California once, but leave before it makes you soft.

    Travel.

Accept certain inalienable truths, prices will rise, politicians will philander,
you too will get old, and when you do youíll fantasize that when you were young
prices were reasonable, politicians were noble and children respected their elders.

    Respect your elders.

Donít expect anyone else to support you. Maybe you have a trust fund,
Maybe you have a wealthy spouse; but you never know when either one might run out.

Donít mess too much with your hair, or by the time you're 40, it will look 85.

Be careful whose advice you buy, but, be patient with those who supply it.
Advice is a form of nostalgia,
dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off,
painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than itís worth.

But trust me on the sunscreen

Brother and sister together we'll make it through
Someday a spirit will take you and guide you there
I know you've been hurtin, but I've been waitin' to be there for you
And I'll be there just helping you out whenever I can
    Everybody's free oh yeah
    Everybody's free oh yeah

One of those songs that makes me giggle and feel sad at the same time. Maybe I should pay more attention to the words, maybe I shouldn't

Wherever you are, have a great, fantastic day,

    Pickle

Carmody, I am reminded of a friend who was fraught with concern about the impact her resignation as leader of an organization would have on those who loved and admired her.
I reminded her: In 10 years time they will say: Remember her? In 50 years time they mights say? What was her name again? In 100 years time they wont remember.....

Good Morning! Just checking in which I will do from time to time. Been busy of late, grand daughter to watch, laundry to do, house to clean, walls to paint, floors to tile, baby girl dresses to make, dinner to cook, cakes to bake... Soon there will be gardens to till, seeds to plant, trees to cut, grass to mow... Not to mention garage sales to go to with spring coming on, estate sales every weekend, throw in a few thrift stores. Items to list on my click store, it is taking off a little bit, shipping things to Russia, Poland, Japan and several places in the US. Busy hands are happy hands, and the idle mind is the devil's workshop as my Mama use to say! I wish the best to all of my fine feathered friends out in the Village, fine feathers make for fine birds! A big loud CAW of appreciation for you all...
Crow, you wrote this a month ago.

Been very ill the last few days. I had to go outside last night I the chilly air to catch my breath even though I was cold and feverish.

As I was rasping for air and desperately trying to calm my breathing I noticed a large spider on the outside of my kitchen window.

I began to watch it and noticed it was beginning to weave a web. I then began to marvel at the technique and complexity yet also the ease at which the spider was working, literally without fault at all. I wondered at how it knew this method and watched and realised that this was also the best amd most economic and efficient design it could produce. In short it was far more intelligent and capable that I could ever be.

I know its secret, it was letting the flow of life work through it unimpeded. If only we could all achieve this most basic and naturally simplistic of states. If only we were brave enough to let go of all the pseudo supports amd associated obstacles we have put in place we would be empowered beyond belief.

incidentally, I had forgot all about my symptoms and felt vastly improved!

Thank you for sharing. A great reminder of things greater than us.
Spiders are powerful totems of creativity and interconnectivity.
    Speedy recovery!
