    As for me, I'm a bit quiet, as these particular astrological alignments out there are powerful for the general public but..they've got a pretty strong influence in my chart. I was born with extremes in/of rides... so I'm used to it to some degree.

    The astrology can also be tied to this issue that is driving Dennis to taking time off. I've been taking time off. But the one thing I do know, is that things change.

    "How Do I Use The Declination Graph?

    The Declination Graph is another way of looking at aspects. To use this graph, just find the planet(s) you are interested in and look at their positions in the graph.

    When you see planets that are at the same degree (either up or down), they are said to be Parallel. If they are at the same degree but one above and the other below the middle line (celestial equator), that is called a Contra Parallel.

    Yesterday, I went to Little One's Valentine's Day party. I was struck by how different he is from all the other kids, and how different I am from all the other parents and grandparents. While most of the kids are having difficulty with diction and grammar, struggling with associating rote counting with any mathematical process, Little One adores meaningful conversations and musings of "Why's" and "Then What's" and "What If's" and doing actual math problems in his head. While the kids either blindly followed the teachers' instructions or blatantly acted out in opposition, Little One showered me with affection and excitedly talked about all that was going on around him. While the majority of the adults stood elbow to elbow at the classroom door, I sat "criss-cross applesauce" (ouch) with him plopped on my lap in the middle of story time.

    Little One's teacher is amazed that he comes in with a smile every morning, smiles all through the day, and leaves with a smile on his face. The joy in his soul radiates outwardly, and the smile is beautiful because it is sincere. Why would a child not feel this joy? This, I do not understand, and will never accept.

    I received yet another invitation to the First Baptist Church. Ugh. I can't figure that one out. People must notice some kind of difference and figure I need to be saved or something. I had a hunch, so asked this teacher if she knows Em's teacher, the one who proselytizes unscrupulously. Sure enough, they are fast friends. We all got a good hoot out of this last night.

    Yesterday, Em's class was discussing "In God We Trust." Em asked an honest question about "God" being where the country places its trust. She mentioned to the teacher that the Constitution prevents having a national religion, and asked if that motto doesn't do exactly that...promote Christianity for the whole nation. The teacher proceeded to try to explain to her, and to the class, how "God" in this instance meant some type of higher power, like Muslims would say "In Allah We Trust." She did explain to the class, however, that Buddha is just a "fat statue" and "never really existed." Poor Em. The whole class thought this discussion was quite funny, and yelled out all kinds of figureheads, including Satan. She is a little frustrated that she really does want to learn at school, and no one else seems to. So, telling her about the FBC invitation let her know that I do understand...helped a little. I do understand, anyway.

    I told Em that one of these days, this negativity will not be here any more. Hold fast to your Hope. I reminded her of Emily Dickinson's words, "Hope is the thing with feathers that perches in the soul, and sings the tune without the words and never stops at all.." Let it take flight, Em.

    Today I met with M's school to discuss her graduation. Full circle for me this week. M has completed 15 high school semester credits in 6 months, breaks and all. That is more than two years of high school. She not only passed the standardized state tests, but got "Commended" on them, a higher notation than "passed." It will take her the next few days to complete her final research paper. They told her she could write on any topic she wanted, and she chose ODD, Oppositional Defiance Disorder. They are having a party for her next week, the cake is for 50 people. I'm...shocked...proud...so many emotions here this week.

    M has overcome challenges most people haven't even heard of, much less actually dealt with. (Please allow me a moment here) When she was 6, in the First Grade, I wondered if she would ever be able to live what most people call a normal life. She could not function in a group, large or small, and we learned that the hard way. She needed drastic accommodations to get the through the school day, and I fought for her every single day of her life just so that people would provide her with what she needed. The concessions did not seem drastic to me, they seemed quite reasonable. Allow her to remove herself from a situation when she needed to. Show her compassion and empathy first, in all situations (because when everything is boiled away, her perception is her reality.) And a loving and genuine person was always, always, placed in her life that could take over during school what I was trying to accomplish at home. Angels? Without them, M could not have come so far. No doubt about that.

    M will be staying in the country, with me, for a while longer. The city is a dangerous place, full of energies that are tied in knots and have no focus but to tear down. We have come up with several good options for keeping forward movement in her life. There are a couple of possible volunteer opportunities, a couple of day cares to target for employment, and even a good college (if I can keep her here that long.)

    So, here and now...focusing on all the positives, all the points of light I can see or feel or know. The worry hits, the emotions, the negativity, and I release it to Source. Who/what better to handle it? I am getting a lot of practice with this, and I think I am improving. Before long, it will not take so much effort. One lung full of light inhaled at a time, one very powerful exhale of muck at a time. Flow. And Balance.

    Ugh...need to end my relationship (actually needed to earlier this week), but my oldest's b-day party tonight. My soon to be ex-gf should know it is coming, however people can put up the most insane levels of delusion.

    Looking forward to losing a gigantic amount of drama from my life, however playing whatever game I have to first tonight is starting to make feel ill. Send me strength to keep my integrity & composure while I play this one last game she insists on playing...she's made it difficult to always be acting from place of love lately.
