Once a year mass controlled dumbed down conformity to all the crap criteria...

Spend any holiday in and with Mother Nature meditating on Eternal Endless Love Intelligence and feel and watch the whole experience change before our very eyes and hearts and minds and..and...and... : ) : ) : )

Makes me want to take a walk in the woods this Thursday and stay there all day, resting my back against my favorite tree while I listen to it and it listens to me.

Yes, time alone sounds heavenly, which is why I push so hard to get the girls to their Dad's. Even though they don't relish the idea. And yes, there is an aspect to the holidays that is quite ridiculous. And yes, there are times I can feel that the contract has been fulfilled. Actually, sometimes I think it was broken prematurely and sometimes I think that I am moving into something that necessitated the freeing up of the part of myself that was tied up therein. And yes, the girls have to accept that there has been a change, and sometimes that is traumatic and difficult. Nevertheless, change is the only constant. Helping them to accept what they cannot change, while trying to accept what I cannot change. While it changes. Ha.

There was a time, during that supermom phase of life, when staying in my pj's all day and lollygagging around was a treat. A once in a while resting and restoring event. That was healthy. Probably not so healthy when that is the norm and getting out of bed and out of the house is a rare occurrence.

Just when I think I have adjusted, Mike will say something like "I was really looking forward to seeing you, you are my best friend." Oy. Or...I will hear all about this new girlfriend, every aspect of their relationship. Every aspect, yes. He is really not that happy with her. He thinks I didn't nurture him enough, so what did he get? Someone from another culture who will wait on him hand and foot out of duty. But nurture? Nope. Gave up passion for duty. Of course, I reckon as he looks back on it he sees I did nurture him enough. Because according to him, he put out feelers for us to get back together and I was too closed off at that point to see that was what he was doing.

So, day by day, I cope. I get some distance. I begin to get through all that. And I start to get some momentum, some equilibrium. But, then these things start to happen that shake me up. I debated long and hard whether to give an example of this. In the end, I decided it would be fine because y'all aren't going to think I'm crazy, and you aren't going to ostracize me, and you are likely the only people who would understand. The other day I was connecting with non ordinary reality. I was thinking of the existence of good and evil, the duality, and the One in which they exist.

And I began to see something. Do you know what that feels like, what I'm talking about? Like, dreaming while awake, I guess. I saw four robed individuals. Black robes, hoods on. Dark space. One had a dagger and blood was dripping from it. He traced a shape on the floor. Then picked up a cup with two handles, held it high, and began to pass it to the others.

Had it not been for a friend listening to me describe this as it happened, I really don't think I would have known what to do. As it happened, I figured out that I had a connection to one of them. A young woman. I don't know how I connected with her, but as I did she looked up. Hands bound. And all I could think to do was to bring strength to her. I wanted to bring light into the situation, it was very dark. But couldn't figure out how to.

The floor began to shake. The walls. The ceiling. The candles went out and it was very dark. I still wanted to bring in light, but did not know how. And one wall cracked. In streamed light. It was the black of night, but in streamed a light. As the walls shook, and the very ground shook, the light filled the room, and three of the hooded men were frightened. They became frantic, grabbing up whatever implements they had arranged just so, and threw them into black velvet-looking bags with drawstrings.

All through this, the young woman was not phased. She never looked up. She was not frightened. She was untouched by falling debris. She sat in her center and was so danged strong in her faith. The men led her down a hall and left her sitting as they ran out a door into the night. She was sad, went to the young animal who was still breathing but weak, and put her hands on it. A young deer. The deer would survive.

The young woman stood at the doorway, not wanting to go out into the night. I sent angels, and four went. They accompanied her home. Her family was quite happy to see her.

This is hard. No, as my friend reminds me, it is not complicated. I guess. It just happens, so what is complicated about that? I do seek to understand, I do ask about a million questions. And blessings and appreciation to those who bear the brunt of those, having full lives and families of their own.

But dammit, it is hard. It is mind boggling. And flipping from one reality to another, or being aware of both simultaneously, or forgetting all about one in favor of the other, or pushing myself into one or the other...being motivated to seek out more...it's hard.

Is it any wonder I feel crazy sometimes, or overwhelmed sometimes, or I just want to hide in my shell sometimes? I have to push really hard to be present in this reality, to remember that my kids want a normal ole Christmas like they've always had and make myself provide that. When honestly, I just don't want to.

I don't want to come into the Village and muck up the path. I haven't even wanted to use my thank you button for fear I would leave a little of my crap.

I'm really sorry this is so long. Truly. Thank you to those who reached out to me. But be careful doing that, hahaha, because then look what happens.

I agree

This morning one of my best friend's - a 30 years friendship, and an American in NH - well, her husband died. Although we did not like each other at first, we had grown to appreciate and like each other a lot through time, him and I. I am sad. It is as a life page that is being fliped, ( gosh it is much clearer in my French brain). As if older time or time to be old, has shown up today

I will do what I can for her and surely visit in NH very soon.

'Thanksgiving' is not celebrated here where I live, in the same sense that it is in other places.
But....how they do 'give thanks' is beautiful. The olives and almonds have been collected, and what remains on the trees is free to all who need and want.
The oranges are ripe, juicy and full of contained sunshine...they too await any ones needs.
Many years ago I asked the local farmers why they did this, they replied that after nature had given such abundance, they would return the favour as a 'thank you'.
My thanks giving to you all, everyday.

So, what happened on 24/11? Well, for sure nobody died (at least not because of the strike). In fact, I'm curious now to find out who injected that fear into the media weeks prior to the strike. It was ridiculously peaceful. The most aggressiveness apparently came from the photographers themselves who - led by the belief that indeed someone was going to die - had piled themselves up so densely thereby being more of an obstruction than the strikers.

And the peacefulness in all this was also so ridiculous that it's hard to not suspect it was perhaps designed to be that way. Whereas the previous strike kept on lingering in the news for over a week, this (much-feared) strike quickly disappeared. I only read that labour unions are talking to employers. Rest of the news is about how you can easily cut lemons, the king giving a sneak peak into his private life and how a famous costume got auctioned for 3 million dollars. This is a selection, but the general impression remains comparable.

Our local consumer rights defender, a while ago started compiling a dossier against a couple of big names in the pharma industry to do with an eye medicine/injection. Now they are taking it to court. The brand version costs 800 EUR whereas the generic version is only 40 EUR. The pharma giants are accused of plotting to block access to the cheaper version. Apparently doctors in Belgium (and some other European countries) are not allowed to inject with the cheaper version. And that is an unnecessary financial burden to our National Health system. In rest there is peace and also knowledge. Yes, Ulli. This reminded me of my high school teacher for German whose last note to me was: Über alle Gipflen gibt es Ruhe, an allusion to both an intellectual restlessness he too must have spotted and of course Goethe's Wanderer's Night Song:

I've made progress by demanding that thoughts must also lead somewhere. In the past it was great to think and being able to constantly challenge the mind with new and newer ideas but not all of them materialise into something worth the effort of thought. You can allow such deviance for some thoughts, but not for all your thoughts. After all you must also live in this world, with the people and make a living. There is a pause button.

Back to the shapes and their connection to 3D life. This was the starting point which from a 3D observer's perspective is probably the most ready approach. In these shapes formed between the stars and planets, energies run and reflect in the lives of the people that these planets in detailed yet transitory ways relate to (Note to self: in transition is change, in change is opportunity).

Three shapes spun in my head as I was thinking about all this, relating to opposition, trine, square. And in the background that other machine was running (energy flow in Qi Gong and its stimulation and direction by ways of certain movements that in their own turn cause for the body to take on a certain shape that will facilitate the passage of that energy (do correct me if interpretations need correcting). And the other machine in metaphysics (three in one and four in three).

All the abstract thinking went out with me on my bike (someone must write on why biking stimulates thought, if not already done) and I stood waiting at a stoplight. I looked at the light poles which earlier already had grabbed my attention as mirrors of one another and illustrations of what it might be to look at a perfect reflection from a parallel universe (thank you, Carmody).

Then turning my head, there was a bridge dividing traffic (like so):


On the bridge itself one row was going to the left, from my point of view, the other right next to it, in opposite direction, to the right.

That imaged disappeared and my mind replaced it with:


Beneath it, other streams of cars were doing the same thing intersecting the stream on the bridge and, again in opposition to each other.



And I thought of all that energy being swept so violently at high speed in all these opposing directions and how chaotic that was and that it was no wonder that when traffic gets that dense, problems must arise, all of a sudden right in front of me a car loudly blows the horn, for the dangerous maneouver the car before him did. I quickly concluded that collection of opposing and intersecting movement to also be a big square and pursued my course.

This was before you wrote about pulling out energies into matter, Araucaria. And how synchronicities might work. Very interesting.

Well, according to Jung's standards I must be INFJ. Which cross is that?



The revolution of the sexes might seem far away for those who already went through it in the sixties but I see it coming back in different layers of society.

Belgian society is very diverse. We have the autochtonous Belgians and many minority groups from different origins, some already in their 4th generation Belgian soil offspring. A lot of these minority groups come from a patriarchal system.
A war of the sexes became apparent to me in the local muslim society from an early stage. This has - up until today - been misinterpreted both from the inside and the outside. Araucaria's last post comes as a great light bulb for what I wanted to convert to words, because it has a lot to do with that, in my opinion, not in other people's opinion.

I'll start with the last one. In other people's opinion from within the communities, both girls and boys are not "what they used to be". There is a general disappointment from the previous generation in the new generation, which is classical. Old people nagging about youth. Women are becoming too modern and men are less in control.
From the outside it's an even bigger soup as women are - despite their revolutionary acts (as seen from within) - still considered to be acting so submissive in the light of religion and male dominance. Men are considered big hypocrits because they don't stick to their own rules and they don't respect women.
So, these are the views: from within and from without.

This is what I can see. Women are pushing to be more of a woman (this sadly exclusively externalises in dress, hairdo and make-up) and they also want to be more of a man (this sadly exclusively externalises in wanting to be in control (of finance, friends, whereabouts...) and refusing to answer to anything, hence massive rate of divorce). After reading your post, although these women acknowledge both (aspects of) female and (aspects of) male part in themselves, there is no harmony. I think it's because even though they're willing to balance both in themselves (and better after they get a completer vision of what it means to a be a woman and a man, now that idea is still too superficial), they are totally denying the male outside of themselves. He is the culprit, he is the bastard and he is passé composé.

The male, on the otherhand sees that it's not that easy anymore to be with a woman. She has higher demands that were not spread gradually over decades of mild (?) revolutionary behaviour - like the Western sexual revolution, count from late fifties, sixties and ongoing still. That's a sloppy fifty years (half a century) for a man to get the point. He fears that all this is going to further decrease his control and surely to be considered a man he must retain control and certainly not have it taken over by a woman. As opposed to women, men will not make a passé composé out of women, because they can't do without (nature's programmation and offspring, I think). This is probably where these men struggle the most. It's hard to put a figure on it because it only started existing from the moment I started paying attention to it, so I'm going to guess, that the biggest cracks in our patriarchy started in the late eighties.

The biggest problem in all this, I find, is that this trend is not acknowledged, by no one. Not from within, not from without, from both sides all of this is "just" problematic behaviour and "can they finally make up their minds".

So, when these males and females are not finding each other, nor themselves, frustrations arise. That's where we are now. And I appreciate that text because to me it shows that we, from the opposing genders, must both learn to value each other again instead of seeing each other as ennemies. And this is microscale, but it's happening on a larger level too, in the whole world. Just look at TV, women want to be more of (what TV thinks) a woman (should be) and males...well, going by TV I don't know what males are supposed to be, which I guess explains for their greater confusion.

I'm reminded of the time when I saw the movie Lost in Translation, where Bill Murray sings those three Karaoke songs, all of which were by three people I had once known as close friends, I.e. Bryan Ferry, Chrissie Hyndes, and Nick Lowe, who I was actually spending the weekend with when he wrote the song Bill Murray sang, and which later was made famous by Elvis Costello. The title was "What's so Funny 'bout Peace, Love and Understanding". So I was blown away. At the time I didn't even know that Nick's song had become widely known.

So I needed to figure out how such synchronicities happen, and thought obsessively to get the answer. I've known quite a few famous people while I was at the top of my career but they were nothing but acquaintances.
But those three, in this Karaoke scene, were the only ones I actually hung out with, and who would remember me as an old friend.
So while trying to find the answer to this major synchronicity I was given the image of a figure eight, lying on its side, in the Alantic ocean, as the Gulf Stream, and which had fast ocean currents running along it.

And all those people who are artists, and free from survival constraints, would travel along this figure 8. While the great majority of people were in less fast moving ocean waters, staying in their spot, with nothing much moving them from there.
Like in the northern part of Barbados, where there are old people who have in all their lives only been twice down to Bridetown, the capital, which is less than twenty miles away.

Meanwhile those people who are used to traveling a lot, who are jet-setting, and not just business trips, I was given the answer that it is like traveling on the roller coaster of the Gulf Stream, bringing those warm Caribbean waters up north, then diving down, to return south, and thus forming a figure 8. Which was pretty much what I was doing when I still lived in London, and every winter went to the Caribbean.
And those who are on the exact same frequency will then meet again, where the two zeros, which the figure 8 is composed of, touch one another. Even if my body was at that moment in a Costa Rican movie theatre, and not much chance nor even desire to see the others again, our spiritual frequency will continue running into each other every so often, when we all coincide at the zero point of the Gulf Stream.
In an infinite universe this is bound to happen an infinite number of times.
Obsessive thought always brings results, if there is a sincere inquiry behind it.
Seek and you shall find.

Okay, people, off I go to transmute and transcend and, um, all that other stuff eaglespirit said. I think. I feel a little stronger today. I'm up and dressed, including my favorite tennies and comfy gray hoodie with the ripped pocket. Perfect attire for agility and kicking butt...unless boots would be a better choice...but really in the past few days agility has been more important.

And so that today won't kick my butt, I am setting my intention thus so. I will do my absolute best to right each wrong that crosses my path. To be all that those around me need, even if I don't have it in me I will Connect and let it Through me. I am the Hands and the Feet of Universe, I am Honored to be in this Role. I will Allow the Force of Divine Love as I am a Channel. I will Remember I am NOT Alone. I will Allow the Energy to Rise and Swirl, and I will Follow my Higher Guidance in Releasing this into the World I see.
