For whatever it is worth, Village Here and Nowers, I am getting an intense surge of energy this afternoon...whether it's cosmic activity or nature phenomena or just general energy uptick or all 3 cannot tell you for sure...but surely something is brewing. Love You All!

I am So there with you. This summer I purchased a marble collection. I only wanted one marble but the guy said I had to buy all of them and it was a big fishbowl of them. There were some awesome marbles but I have friends who are on hard times so we threw a benefit for them(yesterday), so i went to a picker store I figured if I made a profit I would split half with my friends and keep half( I already gave them 3 chords of wood enough for the entire winter and donated a piece of jewelry I made for silent auction which brought in $75 to sell) and I sold my marbles for $200 more than I paid, which allowed me to give them cash and enter some silent auctions where I won some really cool prizes! and we raised $4000 dollars for them.The day before I check my email and I signed up to be a writer for yahoo and my story was published!Then I posted pictures of some jewelry I made recently on FB and was contacted by someone who asked me if I would like to put my things in his gallery this summer!

o.k. and the weird thing is I used to meditate for years and I lost heart and stopped about eight years ago about 8 months ago alot of people kept asking me why I wasn't, all I could say was I couldn't and I couldn't I could not quiet my mind I had about six traumatizing things happen all at once and it threw me so off balance I lost the path.And after ten years of severe tiredness over the last five months my energy has steadily increased, so much I am bugging people to go walking, swimming or whatever! So I started doing some research got some great help from people in the village and after three months I have finally gotten back to the path, my meditation abilities are back and I want to give it some credit for whats been going on. Because I feel it growing every day and it's not just the energy it's a happy healing life giving vibe.

Here and Now...allowing Em to try her newly found wings of freedom. Quite the scary proposition for a parent. Today she goes on a field trip, first one I am not chaperoning. Even in high school, I chaperoned all the trips for the other girls. But this school is so different. You know, I didn't even get so much as an Email about this. As is the way with this school. The teacher mentioned a while back that there was a trip on October 8, so at least I knew ahead of time. She told the kids where to be, and when, and that they would be home approximately 5:00. So foreign to me.

Anyway, going to the State Fair. I made sure she put up a bubble and that she will look in on it from time to time. Had the safety talk with her, made sure she will choose a "safe spot" to meet if she gets separated. Made sure she had money, enough for the other girl to eat and have fun, too, and we talked through how much things would cost so she can budget. Made sure her phone was charged... Made sure she knows that if she has any instincts that she shouldn't ride a ride, she will listen to them. (After the recent death at Six Flags.)

Oh, lordy, it is tough to let her loose in this world. It is an exercise of faith. I made sure Angels will accompany her.

I just have to breathe. I know, honestly, I have prepared her to the best of my ability, in all ways. Now, I just have to let her go. Simple, right? Hahaha!!!!

How interesting that while you are settling into your new physical home you should also find Avalon,
which is also a home in some ways. At least for me.

Avalon is the home for my head, while Costa Rica is the home for my body.
This division is quite strange, still, but also feels natural.
I love my virtual Village, and all the people in it.
Enjoy your two new homes, and neighbors.

Lord help me, I am thinking this morning. I'm thinking back, thinking things over. That is so difficult to do sometimes. It seems I am a person who looks for, and sees only, the good in people. Now see, that sounds nice somehow. But do you realize (because I didn't - ever) that if I do that, and if I'm that kind of person, I don't see clearly? This aspect of who I am might be seen as an optimist's trait. Truly, I never consciously chose this, it is simply what it is, it is who I am.

But...now I am seeing that as much of a curse as a blessing. Because if that's all I see, then do I ever see clearly? Do I ever see warning signs...or...do I really accept people as they are if I only see one part of them?

I'm sure I cannot express my disappointment very well, or what I am just now realizing. I'm very sad at this realization. This troubles me.

Between my work and home machines it is rather shocking how many images show up in one place and not the other (often the very ones I post).

In a way it makes things rather interesting in that I will wonder what someone is going on about and then I later see the images.

Wow! Yesterday I had the most incredible Spiritual psychic experience here on Avalon. By the evening I had brazenly thrown myself at the member who helped it along, proposed marriage and made a huge fool of myself! LOL I have come down from my spiritual high today but not soon enough to save face. If you are reading this mister I hope you will forgive me and laugh along. I love life and all of its meanderings...

Some interesting points here.
First of all, by bringing up the issue you show that you do realize that there is a choice.

And that all along you were operating on automatic,
to the point that you have forgotten that sometime, long ago,
maybe lifetimes ago, you made the choice to look at the good in people.

Imagine someone like me, who is the opposite, who sees the flaws first,
who was born a hater, with all sorts of Aspberger type patterns, not trusting anyone,
always running, always on the move (nearly 50 house moves) but in the end had to LEARN
to focus on the good, and ignore the bad, which was always staring me in the face....
I can confess that physically I'm not as fit as I used to be, but mentally I can see the bigger picture.

Every battery has two ends, and everyone I meet also has two ends, and once I learnt to see that plus sign in the other person I found that my relationships with others began to last a bit longer.
I'm not quite where you are, but perhaps we all have different roles here.....
As an abstract thinker I'm often not in touch with my emotions,
but at least I KNOW now that LOVE is the answer ...
Well, second place, after justice...
You see, I was born to perceive imbalances, so that I could then seek for justice,
which is the same as balance...
Because in an unjust world how can love prevail?
