A bit off topic ... but I started watching the subtitles on a CNN broadcast in the Dallas - Fort Worth (DFW) airport, while waiting to pick up a relative who was flying in.

After 2 or 3 minutes, I gave up and stopped watching. I had had my annual dose of Non-Stop Trump Bashing (NSTB)

Paula,, of the Running Deer Clan, Thanks for the Hilarious Video of Tim Hawkins' Best!
It's the perfect gift for a Christian Cowboy friend whose birthday is tomorrow. His wife should also get a kick out of the accuracy and depth of those insights. This has to be on the top of the list for the presents anyone should send themselves or their Christian friends.

If you've ever been to a modern Christian church service you'll notice that Tim's hand gesture descriptions are spot on. (By the way, I still haven't raised enough support to ban, set ablaze or , at least, shoot the harmoniums common to Indian Ragas, what with those atonal cracker boxes known for being the most depressing instrument ever to penetrate the ear drums of man, animal and insect alike. Maybe we can synthesize the sounds and pitch the app to exterminators.)

    Perfecto!
    Hym

    TargeT--OWWWWWW!

Healing hint: Aloe Vera--immediately. Then Vitamin E oil to avoid scarring.

My friend dumped just-boiled water on her thigh, causing a very large and severe burn area. She applied Vitamin E oil on it right away and kept doing so for weeks. Result: No scarring at all.

    Peace Love Joy & Harmony,

Chimps Held in Captivity for 30 Years Play in the Sun for the First Time (3:42 minutes)
Freedom is a beautiful thing and something that we often take for granted. These chimpanzees, held in labs for research for over 30 years, finally experienced that freedom and went outside. This is the heart-touching video.

Chimps Go Outdoors for the First Time! (5:42 minutes)
On Jan. 16, 2018, former research chimpanzees who had spent their entire lives in inside/outside cages explored an outdoor forest habitat for the first time in our new Peachtree Habitat! One group of six males and one group of nine females, all formerly used in biomedical research in laboratories, were released at separate times to freely explore a six-acre, forested habitat in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Georgia.

Thanks to founding board member Marsha Perelman, American Anti-Vivisection Society, Solid Security Perimeter Solutions, and National Anti-Vivisection Society for making it possible! Donate to support more chimps going outdoors.

Number of missing drops to 25 - that's still a lot, but down from thousands...

The number of people listed as missing after California's deadliest wildfire has dropped again to 25, down from a high of more than 1,200 about two weeks ago, officials said.

88 good people have died. Their remains located. Paradise was not a rich area, with many living alone and without a car and over 70 years old.

If you can get fresh aloe gel, Target, that will help a lot ongoing, applied topically, and if you can get the type of aloe for consumption, in a daily smoothie.

i have several fresh cut aloe in a fridge, but the location of the burns makes it difficult to have anything topical on for long

Been to the doctors, the "white stuff" is Silver Sulfadiazine Cream , I put it on the opened blisters a few times a day & it makes it look weirder/worse but is there to stop infection.

If you apply it repeatedly and give it a little time to soak in, that should work as it gets absorbed pretty quickly, or you could mix the aloe with the cream, which might help it to last longer as a topical application.

I'm beyond that point, now it's just nerve damage that is painful. the worst is an increase in blood pressure (guess what happens when you stand up, or hell even sit up in bed... haha) so I've been stuck in bed for the past couple of days... going to the bathroom is quite the ordeal in working through pain & realizing how useless pain management techniques are if you dont fully focus on them (breathing, mental avoidance etc...).

not the most fun I've ever had, but it's an experience, thats for sure.
