Good morning, and happy Friday, Village. Here's today's strip from F Minus. Hilarious:

The talk of peppers and chili is making me hungry! I have a strong addiction for cayenne myself, it being my pepper of choice. PL and I were eating some of the cayenne that I grew this past summer like candy. It was impressive, but doomed for failure nonetheless. PL ate a real firecracker, and his head nearly exploded. For fifteen minutes he sat with his head between his legs, mouth open with a steady stream of saliva pouring out like a water hose. It was impressive. I had no idea saliva glands could produce that much fluid! Here's some cayenne for you:

Playdo, I wondered if you would come along and recount that story. That was the second hottest pepper I've ever eaten. It was great! I remember you saying "that's disgusting" as I laughed and the drool just ran and ran into the grass. I can't wait to come see you guys, again!

I found the idea that Fibromyalgia is caused by PTSD interesting. It's also synchronistic because I've been going to a.. uh, he calls himself a 'Personal Effectiveness Trainer' and he teaches Balancing, which I think comes from Serge King. I've found the balancing to be quite helpful in my life, though I haven't been using it for very long, only a couple of weeks.

Anyways the basic thing with it is that we create patterns in how we live our lives. So at age 2 I created patterns, then at 5 and even now I create patterns. Though now I also have those patterns that I created at age 2, etc. Many of those older patterns don't benefit me now, ie looking at the world now through the eyes of a two year old, and there is alot of energy going into those patterns to support them. So the balancing technique has the individual reshape those patterns and take that old energy and puts it to new patterns that you want. Its all done through the subconscious mind. Ummm, not sure how well I explained it.

Why I mentioned him, is that using the balancing around 25 people that have gone to seen him, that had fibromyalgia, dont have it anymore. Using the balancing technique they got rid of it. Some Fibromyalgia Institute sends people to him as well to help.

So Dawn would be a good resource, if you want the contact info of the guy I go to, PM me.

    Be well.

P.S. Thank you everyone for making this thread so great! I've been reading for quite a while, though haven't been sure where to jump in or with what. Thanks for all the great energy!

MW, if you're around: Just found out a co-worker has been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, has taken her a year to arrive at this. I have no experience with it, and wondered if you know some good strategies/remedies off the top of your head. I will research it if I need to, but I think experience is better.

I'm going to make herb tea for her--oatstraw, lemon balm, and chamomile. Anything you would add?

    Love,

i was thinking about optical computer processors again. been thinking about them, every now and then... for...12-13 years.

I know I could probably design one in a lab with the funds..that could do..about ...XXX quintaflops per second.

To me, this tells me.... it has already been done.

My short answer would be, drink sufficient water. The role of proper hydration and connective tissue is largely unrecognized or understated may be a better phrasing. Think of the difference between a dry sponge and a moist one for an analogy. Another one, more to the point, is beef jerky. Water will not address the causality of it, but might help deal with the constant traction/tension of the attachments of muscles to their boney anchors.

With the exception of genetic diseases, which I believe are karmic in origin, it is my observation that all diseases have their origins in diet, with our emotional/thought diet being part and parcel of that picture. Another way of stating that would be how you eat and how you think. Obviously wear and tear physical usages have a category, but they are not mysteries to any of us and are not dis-eases in any real definition of the word. My wife has/had fibromyalgia. It all depends on whether she minds her mind or not.

Type A personalities are more often than not the 'victims' of this unpleasant and even debilitating condition.

Valerian root, used as a muscle relaxer should provide some help. Opiates are particularly well suited because they are excellent muscle relaxers as well as analgesic, par excellence. There are considerations with their usage though. Ibuprofen, if well tolerated is also helpful. These are all symptom treatments and not causal ones.

Dream last night with a black panther. She was so happy playing with me that i was a little scared, running and jumping at me, and biting my hand (like a cat). She was very big.

Also, i saw the last episode of "Sherlock" ( "The Hounds of Baskerville"). I've found this video (i was looking for the Mind Palace scene but instead i found this montage)

    ....Carmody... Holmes?

By the way...,is this village increasing the "dreams"?

Thanks so much for the replies and info on fibromyalgia. MW, I like the way you phrased 'our emotional/thought diet' -- it's so true, what we feed ourselves all the time has to affect us.

The young lady who told me today about her diagnosis, I think needs some basic information on the physical and energy bodies, and I'm feeling called to be her teacher. We have crossed paths several times this week. I'm hoping she will start to go walking with me at lunch time and we can walk and talk.

I told her to drink lots of water, thanks MW.

I had a particularly nice M.A.P. session at lunch today, sat in my car for an hour while those light beings worked some magic. Connected to my HS in a new way, wonder if the juice fast helped? All the things that bothered me so much before the session all all GONE now.

VS, do you have a *POOF* icon-thingy in your stash?

    Love to all,

Purplelama I love the Pixies. Saw them play in 1989, cant remember now if it was the Surfa rosa tour or Doolittle, but I'd just found out I was pregnant with the first born! He loves to tell his friends he was at a Pixies gig way back in the day! I love Kim Deal singing on that track Gigantic. She's my fave female bassist alongside Tina Weymouth. Thanks for posting and thanks for the fire altar memories.

    love this one too.

This leads me back to Ibiza. Nice... reading under the sun, the wind, the music...
But the Song on this days was "Into My Arms" by Nick Cave. Must be listened loud, very good sound system and under a heavy SUN. ....and very calm, the piano will feed you. oh! i was so happy there

i was thinking about optical computer processors again. been thinking about them, every now and then... for...12-13 years.

I know I could probably design one in a lab with the funds..that could do..about ...XXX quintaflops per second.

To me, this tells me.... it has already been done.
I don't think XXX quintaflpos would be enough.

ha... sorry. Your post take my breath away.

PS: In order to record all the Dreams generated in the village, do you think is enouhg?

    Thanks, Carmody.

    Hi JB,

I've seen some good things happen for people who have fibromyalgia, Parkinson's disease, paralysis and any kind of chronic condition with Qi Gong/Chi Kung. There is Hard Qi Gong and Soft Qi Gong -I would investigate them both. Hard QG works more on a atom/molecular/cellular level and soft on more of a flow/balance level. Also- if you can find anyone who is a Traditional Dragon Art....Tai Chi teacher or study the Dragon Art meditations. At the stronger/deeper levels -plasma energy comes into play here.

As Modwiz suggested the food/water/e-motion.... and if they are a meat eater how much do they consume? I know that consuming too much meat or meats treated with hormones and antibiotics can play havoc on the body on many levels.

Of course JB this all suggestion -i'm not a doctor or therapist of any kind.

Here is a link to a guy who made an art form out of Qi Gong -he has quite a story. http://www.QigongEnergyHealing.com

    Love

    Nora
