Film shows why you should NEVER give a monkey the middle finger


The vengeful primate is clearly ruffled by the rude gesture as it pounces on the man and knocks him to the floor with a swift dropkick to the face

Ever wondered what would happen if you showed a monkey the middle finger?

Surely, they wouldn't understand the sentiment behind the gesture, right? Wrong.

And this clip shows how one man had to learn that lesson the hard way.

In the footage, the pedestrian is walking past the monkey when he appears to stick up his middle finger.

But the creature isn't about to take that sort of insult lying down and jumps down from the fence onto the man's face.

The man immediately falls to the floor from the impact of the creature's attack - the monkey realises his work is done and hops back onto the fence where he was originally sitting.

According to information alongside the footage, the incident occurred in Shimla, the capital city of Himachal Pradesh, located in Northern India.

Since it was uploaded to YouTube in April 23, the clip has gone viral with more than 288,800 views.

It is not clear whether the man was injured by the monkey's attack.

Here and Now, I am here.

In my head, I am inside. It is chilly outside, but the warmth of the fire is homey. Not only that, but I hear the pops and crackles. And I smell dinner cooking on the stove, I choose...chili. I do love chili. It takes a fair amount of chopping, but since it is already on the stove I don't have to think about the chopping. That would already be done. And...Isis sits on my lap. No, actually, I think I have that cream colored blanket on my lap. The one I started to crochet a year ago. I like the pretty stitch I found to try. Isis lays on my feet. And...there is some soft music playing. I think...someone is tickling the ivories today.

My children and grandchildren are so peaceful. They are strong, and know who they are. They are independent. And they care deeply for each other. They have all found what makes them content in life. And though hard times ebb and flow, they know a peace that keeps them centered.

Ahhhhhh.

I do love hot cocoa, too. I love that sinful scoop of marshmallow cream on the top sometimes. When this cup is empty, even that last lukewarm drop at the bottom, I won't have a single dish to wash. 'Tis the way with fantasy.

Okay, wherever that exists...I guess I had better get back to this here and now. But I did really enjoy that. Thanks.

Apparently Cern was powered up for the first time, when the quake hit in Nepal. To the minute, apparently.

This is possibly tied to disturbance of the earth grid. A non natural grid point or energy interjection, or interference in flow. There was no solar activity at this given time of occurrence.

That information about CERN is my turning point! It changes my state of being (related to Anunnaki/Cabal/TPTB) from: Yes, I know what's going on. The facts are on the table. It's logic. The researchers are trustable for so many reasons. Look at their foes. The puzzle is perfect etc. (but personally I'm not directly affected to a state where every cell of my body cries out, is alarmed and indeed affected deeply. I will not be able to look at things from a distance as I did before.

And returning once more to an appearently inevitable issue ( at least on every day life – level ): Often, when I come across a post and I don't know the writer being male or female my reactions are quite interesting. But whenever it comes to dishwashing and doing the laundry, you bet the writer is female (up to 98 %) ! LOL. Okay, now I'm going to clean up the kitchen. Husband cooked a (btw excellent and vegan) meal yesterday.

Lots... of... mushrooms

I made a mushrooms soup yesterday, completely home made - I had bought a mix of delicious different kinds of dried mushrooms in a big jar. Everybody liked it (Mini, her boyfriend, the boy I keep during the week, me).

Cooking dinner right now, the rest of the soup will be serve too.

Your mushrooms look reaaaalllly good. I would definitely use them if you were to sell them to me as Paula posted idea.

I'd prefer to invite all the Village to eat the mushrooms if it were possible. Sometimes Time and Space rules ruin all the fun

Finally we boiled and canned the mushrooms so we can keep them much longer.
Now the substratum is as it was at the beginning, I guess I need to wait for about a week for the next mushrooms to grow

Oh forgot to mention, last Sunday we went to the mountains to say goodbye to my aunt. We planted two little trees with part of her remains mixed with soil, symbolizing the death and rebirth cycle.

We sang a song and I said a few words. A sad and beautiful moment. It's hard to say goodbye to a person like her.

Gee, I thought the here and now thread was simply for sharing what is happening in each of our heres and nows.

And so it is, Snowflower. But if everyone literally stuck to that, you would have a visitors’ book-type anthology of pretty unconnected comments with no friction, either positive or negative, taking place between them. And in any case, it wouldn’t even be a literal interpretation since ultimately we share the same here and now of reading this thread and typing our posts, so interaction is actually more immediate than other things that are happening. There is a difference for example between Ulli gardening and her telling us about it – for starters, she has to come in and wash her hands. So technically, the actual posting is something not quite here and not quite now, except to the degree that it is self-referential. We are talking about the difference between open-air painting and studio painting. While you do find the occasional open-air painting such as the other day when Nora was out in nature with her laptop, others like me will be working from a desktop, where the only thing happening apart from reading and writing is possibly someone poking their head round the door. But even open-air painting does not have the immediacy that simply sitting out has, or planting flowers and picking out weeds. It is fingers-on-plastic communication with the outside world – both Ulli’s Step 2 and Carmody’s technology that we may have to give up.

I was going to take this post further, but I can’t seem to gather my thoughts properly, so will stop right here (and now).

Part One: Unconnected Comments

For me, I view it as the Village diary that gets updated as folks care to share. There’s alway connection. Even after the post is read that support extends on. There’s an unspoken support that we all give to one another.

There are times when I just want to share plain old things which brought me joy that day. And I enjoy when others share in their adventures and family going ons. By being present in their story, I’m connected and don’t need a complex exchange of posts.

There’s a natural flow in the Village where those that prefer to engage do and others that want to drop in to say hello or share in their good news, can and do. That’s what makes this thread a one-of-a-kind.


Part Two: Share Future Goals/Intentions

For me personally, I don’t want to share my future. As mentioned, it gets tweaked the more I learn about myself and the workings of the world and it’s mysteries.

Another reason is that it took me most of my life to give myself permission to be spontaneous and present. I bought into the long term planning. I’ve forever lost those moments with loved ones by expending energy on futures that 90% of it didn't and will never happen.

I look back and see that most of the planning was out of fear of poverty, death, loss and being alone. Well, I’m here to say I still thrive, live in joy, discovery and flipped it to where 98-100% of my days are fulfilled even without long term plans. Though, I’d not give that advice to anyone. There’s something to be said for practicality and planning as you go along. Guess you can say that for now, I’m making up for lost time. I’m on an extended holiday.
