Must admit a bit too much white noise in here of late for me,
if i was in flesh and blood presence i would have to take myself out of the room to find a quiet corner somewhere,

Dearest ulli, allow me to present my understanding of what is perhaps the lesson under all this from today,

If one of us loses, we all lose, if one is sick, then we all share that sickness in ourselves. In this place you have creates much good, much healing has been done. This is our true potential that we should meet. Fun and games, is, well, fun but fun sometimes can get out of hand. We can all speak and be misunderstood by our words, so it behooves each of us to be more careful than ever when we speak, here and now. I know you intended no real ill, but such is the nature of communication in the virtual realms that it is so easily be misunderstood. It's nor about who wins or who loses, here and now and everywhere, but that we should all win or none of us really does. I don't really have a dog in this race, so to speak, but I have a great love for you and tony and all of us. Please, be the benevolent monarch we know you can be, because right now your village needs the strength of your heart. If you lose, we all lose. IMHO.

Yes Purple, and also its VERY hard in chat format as we don't get the non- verbals,
so words are taken at face value more. The intent behind them can be SO easily misread.

To me.. the joke parts i often take as literal and just can't see the joke at all.
( A BIG Asperger trait).

It's funny as i can think something is "true" or real for days, before i find out it was actually meant to be a joke, lol.

Laughing at myself helps alot

But the power of words is not to be underestimated, no question about that.

I often double check to make sure what i meant to convey was what was understood.
Communication a very tricky thing sometimes......

I'm also seeing people getting more and more sensitive as the
veils thin more and more.

It's a lesson to us all .

Strange goings on are afoot in the village? Discombobulated ... I always wanted to use that word in conversation and it fits this situation well.
I hope all are resilient and bounce back from their bruises soon, after a little introspection.
Here and now.. I still don't get it really... why does feeling bad feel so much more crap than feeling good, why don't I say 'I hope you get over it soon' when someone is on a high... I think I need to go read some Zen parables.

Both points were covered in my post. The joking point was covered in my phrase about intentionality. Your second point was the point of my entire post. Why misunderstandings often occur. The real drama comes not from miscommunication, but that said produces discomfort in the receiver and what that discomfort is meant to reveal.
