I've told my kids that the term "fair" is banned from our house (and doesn't really exist in reality anyway), the term is a inherently destructive one that promotes envy and greed.

Isn’t that only enforced indoctrination within the consideration of a digestible acceptance of what is reality, defined by the parents who regurgitate the normality of limitation?

Your view of 'fair' limits both you and your children.......or would you disagree?

As to envy and greed....well envy is caused by the lack found within the parent and forced on to the child and greed is caused by the child as a antibiotic to the parents woes!

We get to objectively experience our consciousness as it is splintered into 8 billion humans, countless planets and stars, rocks dirt etc...

Child rearing is a very adaptive proccess, I observed the use of the word "fair" and it's motivations and acted accordingly.

The usage of "fair" was applied entirely between siblings (a 9 year old girl, 13 year old girl, 15 year old boy and 19 year old pre-woman) and never comparatively used with adults. The expectation of "fair" between a 19 year old and a 9 year old is a touch ridiculous as both age groups have very different needs and wants.

"fair" is a toxic concept that strips individuality away from consideration.

So again, I disagree.

At the Costa Rica Airport yesterday morning, they confiscated all my heart shaped rocks! so sad..... Your Heart shaped ones are beautiful Sstars! The ones that I collect, I put in my Angel Garden!

I'm not too sure about this PL. A Wahabi trained Muslim who stones a woman or marries an eight year old is utterly convinced they are good.

I'd rather have fair and just.

As C.S. Lewis (famous Christian apologist and author, wrote the Narnia series for those who don't know) once said, when a three year old on the playground shrieks, "That's not fair!", the other children know exactly what is meant. No religious or parental training needed.

I guarantee you he thinks its fair (he would treat any woman the same) and just (in his mind it's completely moral to do so) also.... all three words have no concrete definitions that aren't wildly influenced by perception.

of the three "good" is the most concrete word by definition; though still problematic in your specific example.


Linguistic drift makes communication using pivotal words very difficult.

It seems the desire for equal treatment (only a big deal if you feel you are being shorted, those getting "above" equal treatment seem to be fine with it) is desired naturally by most mammals at least, possibly most living things.

Fair would be the male party that led to the stoning of the female party, would also meet some punishment under the law. Even in cases where the woman is raped, and then stoned, the perpetrator gets off scot free.

I haven't found it but there is another video where a monkey next to the monkey being fed, gets shocked when the first monkey eats. The first monkey offered food, refused to eat for quite a long time, not liking the pain experienced by the second monkey.
