In this video you will see me interacting with various different birds; chickadees, nuthatches and blue jays. The blue jays in this video I've know for 5 years and some of the chickadees and nuthatches I've known for 2-3 years, and very well.

Red-bellied Woodpecker Controls The Suet Feeder

This male Red-bellied Woodpecker makes his presence known at the Cornell Feeders. Watch him keep all other feeder visitors at bay if they encroach on his territory during multiple visits to the suet feeder. We're not surprised by this behavior; Red-bellied Woodpeckers are one of the toughest birds for their size at the feeders.

Absolutely. Makes me think of the number of times people here have reached out for healing / prayers from the forum community and felt the effects in their lives

I’m not one for smart phones or gadgets in general. I’d rather sit and commune with a tree than spend hours playing with a smartphone. And I cherish the friends I have in my immediate world. But there are a number of topics that I still feel it difficult to discuss with people in my circle. Many of the posts I’ve seen here and elsewhere over the years have given me solace, insight and inspiration that I didn’t find in people nearby at the time. A definite upside of the web.

I’ve appreciated and enjoyed many of your posts. Glad you’re here. And I can assure you I’m a real person. Complete with my own personal treasure of flaws and idiosyncrasies
