Meeradas finally helped me over the final hurdle, to do with what prize to offer the 10,000th poster here.
My dilemma was to find something that would suit both male and female Villagers.
So it had to be fairly neutral.

In your (now deleted) post you addressed one thing that I found honest and to the point-
namely that Ernie got really mad at a very special group of people
who had in the past given him lots of attention and loving kindness.
They didn't deserve to be treated by leaving the room in a hissy fit.
So this shows a side of him that I would be reluctant to interact with in future.
I can help the suffering, but I cannot help those who get mad and throw tantrums.
It's just not my field. I thought your original post was quite ok.

Pancake Day doesn't have the same ring to it that Mardi Gras does. To be forthcoming, I'm not remotely Catholic, nor do I care for parades (large groups of people, really) but that Kingcake from www.paulspastry.com was freaking incredible, being of the strawberry and cream cheese variety. I am not a big fan of sweets, overall, but I found the baby in the cake in my second piece.
