Here and Now...What's Happening?

Love fire

as you all know I tend to the fire often especially in the Autumn and Winter seasons.
I use different woods, but mostly red oak and get a good hot fire burning then will add white sage or prairie sage, flat cedar, sweet grass and (sometimes) sea or rock salt to smoke the whole valley out.

post edit: also helps to know which way the wind is blowing....

I also fill a glass with water, put sage in it and keep it around to soak up the vibes....

Befriending the spirit of Fire is very recommended. Friends don't harm friends. Fire can, and will, nip friends who forget to respect it though. Just a love bite.

In 2003 My Mate and I moved up to the Northern Cascades, where we built a cabin in the midst of an old growth Redwood forest. We milled all of our own wood (from fallen logs and younger trees we had to remove to build our place), until we had enough scraps for a big bonfire one night. In the midst of the flames, I noticed a distinct face appear, and was able to get a pic:

Here and Now. So much information to take in, it's feast or famine isn't it? @meeradas...well, and anyone interested ...
Here are excerpts from my new "course." I chose these specific sentences because these are the bits that reached out and grabbed me. I have read and practiced and researched, etc., etc., but this is more "concrete" I think: (from The Book of Storms....)

"Many Empaths suffer from anxiety due to an overload of incoming stimuli and intuitive information. Some suffer from depression due to being overwhelmed with all the "storms" going on inside."

this is a clear example of our 'incarnation' system's basic systems.

An organized field of 'object recognition'.

The first thing we see is a bike, as our body and it's 'fast' object recognition system, that comes before any intellectual musing of any kind, that system of interpretation intrudes and forces a reality into shape via it's filtering of any dynamics of flow.

I mentioned in other places and threads how I had to process every inch of myself in order to be conscious and to defeat that system, and I could only do it for so long. About 2 years in total. But during that time period, I could dissociate normal vision into it's component kaleidoscopic layers of true dimensional/temporal connection, and matter formation. As the Buddhists say: giant, moving, flowing...incredibly complex kaleidoscopic mandalas.

And when I did that, I could then go anywhere, be anywhere, do anything, be anything. No limits. However, I had to give it up, my body could not take the stress of being sleepless for so long, anymore. Two years of no sleep. Sure, I meditated, and brought the body to the sleep state and went off and fooled around in the dimensions but the body was still peripherally involved and connected, so it ended up with the stress regardless. Since I was self taught and self achieved, I had not the skills to continue further in that state....so I let it go.

My point being is that: the image is a thing of beauty, yes..... but the other side of the coin is that it is the core of the curse.

This is the mechanism that keeps you stable here (like a gyroscope) but it is also the system that ...keeps you stable "here". Your friend..AND your enemy.... depending on what stage or component of existence you are attempting to deal with. (I say enemy, simply to help aid in recognition of the issue)

with respect to another connection, many of you have read Another Bob's bits on personal elevation, etc. What he's trying to say specifically has to do with this, as a point of personal realization. (not entirely, but it is a big component)

Tibetan healers will give their patients herbs and have them practice the Medicine Buddha dharani and sutra on a daily basis . The night before a new moon or full moon they will have their patient prepare herbs and practice the Medicine Buddha. Part of the point is the sound of the dharani (mantra) and the visualization of the Medicine Buddha to invoke healing and/or end suffering in the person.

I had the chance to be under the tutelage of a Rinpoche and his lamas for a while. He spent 21 years of his life in captivity in a Chinese prison and labour camp. The Rinpoche practiced White Tara while in captivity and attained enlightenment . He eventually made his way to the states. When someone asked him what his greatest fear was, he replied, "That I should resent my captors."
