Sitting stranded in Portland, Maine. All flights are cancelled because of a huge early season nor'easter.

The good news: Florida boy and his wife get to experience a blizzard.

The bad news: A couple extra days not being able to get back to our house that got entirely flooded because of a ruptured water pipe last night.

I am just south of You in Uxbridge, MA at the moment...and the snow is coming down good! Just wanted to let Ya know I am right in it with You...early snow for these parts, pretty interesting. We're suppose to get about a foot where I'm at.
Wish You the Best when You get home...hope the water damage wasn't too bad.

Hey there Eaglespirit, my step mom died last week, so me, my wife, and my sister came up to see her off, and to spend some time with my dad. I just Googled Uxbridge, so yeah, I see we aren't that far apart. Very cool. This reminds me of watching hurricanes threatening in the Gulf of Mexico back home, watching The Weather Channel all day. I hope we're both lucky and don't lose power, but if we do, my old buddy Jimmy Beam will be there to help...

Here and now the Internet problems continue.
It is either very slow, or turns off every ten minutes.
It can then stay off for a couple of minutes, or even hours.
I feel nearly ashamed to mention it, as in light of other people's problems that counts only as a minor irritation.

I also hope that you will find your house in ok condition when you get home.

I actually gave tony just such a trick, one of them universal power kind of things. He very well could be mucking with ulli's internet connection, but that would be using good powers for evil. He would never do *that*.
