Conservative MP Louise Mensh demonstates how out of touch politicians are with reality most are just 'greedy grubby grabbers' imho she was apearing on 'Have I got news for you' a mainstream BBC1 political satire show, which has been running for the past 20yrs....I watch it when I can and it usually makes me laugh and shout with anger..LOL...Anyway She was so out of touch and represents why tories will always be up themselves !!!

The subjects they cover are serious its the forerunner to'The Daily show' I feel the public are so blazay at all these scandels , that everyone feels helpless.Most of our politicians are corrupt and looking for lobbiest jobs, there are some other good comments in the show .Tory minister Oliver Letwynn throwing away constituants correspondence in litterbins in the park instead of shredding them.
Two former tory MPS forced to leave politics because of the expences scandel are now lobbiests.Lib dem MP on deffence committee forced to resign for having a affair with a young russian spy. Story about Blair being Murdochs Daughters Godfather.All done amusingly and it is well done,but when you know what really is going on it makes me 'Angry' Cheers Steve...

None what so ever, they are all as bad as one another, she sounds like Mary Annetoinette , why Paris erupts in social disorder , her 'supposed' answer was let them eat cake !!

So if you want to protest against corrupt corporate capitalism do not buy a coffee in Starbucks . She is missing the point completely imho....

Its the bankers and the bigger players that are the problem , not the local outlet whose workers are also being taken advantage of.....

Yes it would be nice to boycot all big chains, but thats totally impractical until replacements can be offered, and since as soon as new enterprises are set up. They are allowed to get to a certain level, then they are bought out by the corporations...

Steve - thanks so much for posting. I love 'Have I Got News for You' but don't always catch it. This was a good one although my toes did curl listening to Louise Mensch! As an author of the most excruciatingly nauseating chick lit I find it hard to take her seriously as a politician and you are right she is seriously out of touch.

The establishment said they are bringing in lawyers , this BBC report from monday 23rd oct shows the protesters are aware it may take some time to move them...

unless agent provocateurs are used as in other protests acround the world...
