Default New movie: In Time (release date 28 October 2011)

    Hi,

    In Time: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1637688/

I don't know where to begin with this movie ... maybe I shouldn't tell anything in order not to spoil the plot. Well some brief indications then ...

It's about a future world that will be much like new world order style. People are genetically modified with
a built-in clock. Time is literally money and running out of it will kill you on the spot.

    Two other remarkable facts ...
    1. The movie was released on October 28th 2011
    2. The plot is heavily based on people's fear to die

I'll leave it to that. If the new world order is something that has your interest this movie will absolutely show you what could be in store
for the future if their ideas are not stopped now.

    Hi Operator,

I saw a review for this today in the paper and was going to post on it. You beat me to it! It certainly jumped out at me screaming 'NWO straight ahead....'

The inbuilt clock is probably in those nice chips, ready to activate at the time of their choosing for depopulating the planet.

    Lovely.

    Cheers,
    Lily

Yes, and there are more movies like this coming soon too. The Hunger Games: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1392170/

Both my daughters don't like reading that much but they were totally hooked on the book of the hunger games and read it
in 2 ..3 days. Somehow the NWO themes are spreading and fascinating people.

Well like I said before I don't want to spoil the plot too much but we can use this thread for members who did see the movie
and want to discuss about it. I imagine this movie could be subject to a whole lot of discussions.

But you are right, it is admitted by the rich that this is used for depopulation of the planet.
However in the movie it is not by implanted chips but by genetic modification that people have the clock built in.
Somehow the rich have got the clock too but they do have lots of time and so they don't have to work.

In all, the movie paints a situation allegedly in the future but we actually have this situation already today.
You just have to translate money to time or vice versa and you will have lots to think about after seeing this movie.

This isn't about the movie, but my comment is sort of related....

According to James Horak, the EMV's (who are the Hands of GOD) won't allow the massive depopulation to happen; which has been stopped 3 times now. In fact, the message to the elites/Illuminatis is that if they do this, then the EMV's will move away from the Sun and ALL life on the planet will die. So, it's in their best interests to not go through with this. But that won't stop the nitwits from killing people off in other nefarious ways, not on a massive scale, though. It's disgusting that they just can't seem to get murder out of their craws....
Honestly, I believe right now the majority of humanity IS what's keeping us from extinction. These are the enlightened, the loving and the decent hard working races. If by some ill-fated "accident" happens where 6 billion perish, then it won't be long after that ALL will die. The elites/Illuminatis need to do some serious soul searching, if they even have them....

In my teens, i read 'tons' of classic sci-fi... a lot of what was read then, is happening now - in Hollywood!
May it always stay - in Hollywood.
We don't need that for real.
    Ever.

In post reflection of the movie. If only, we knew exactly how much time we had left to live, how very different would our time be spent while alive.. Every moment is truly a blessing, it is a shame we today let that fact allude us in most cases. How much more graciously and wisely would we spend our time if we knew how much time there was to spend.. A great question to ponder on i think..
to quote from the movie, "You can do a whole lot with just a day"

Being the movie connoisseur that I am, in the film The Day The Earth Stood Still (2008) There were these really small metal insects that were released to kill off humanity. I believe the reasons were because humanity was destroying the earth and human beings were never going to change their ways, so we were to be done away with.

When I saw those "insects" nanotechnology was the first thing i thought of because they were inhaled and coming out of the pores of the skin. Hmmmm....SMH.

For a real eye opener on nanotechnology, read Patricia Cornwell's "Port Mortuary". Same idea as "The Day The Earth Stood Still", but her detailed revelation of the potential (that is possible here and now) is well explained. While these weapons are evil, and distressing, I believe there is a purpose in their portrayal as it gives the collective a chance to decide "I choose that other timeline, thank you".

There was a thread about this movie already.

I've watched it... not a very good movie but I do recommend you see it! It has plenty of interesting things in it.

Without saying too much replace "time-zone" with "income brackets", and notice how people are kept busy via artificial price inflation and you'll get a pretty clear picture about who's running the show and how. The "immortals" part may be fantasy, but the control structure was pretty accurately described as it is today. (And replace "time keeper" with "police officer").
