I disagree with this. I think many of us are here by choice. We choose to confront our fears and to grow through 3D experience. We always have choice. We have choice to react in fear, to be misled, to disconnect from our source, to follow ill guided teachers. We are only deceived in so much as that that deception will bring us to our next level of learning... even if the teaching might be a long one, requiring much time and experience.
We can choose our way out also when we are ready to take on our full responsibility and to understand that we fully create our reality, either through choice or choosing default to another.


We are only in prison or the matrix for as long as we choose to subject ourself to limitation in belief and not take our rightful place as creators in the making. Those who would utilize us for power take full advantage of our weakness and in remaining asleep. We can change it at any moment by waking up to who we are and to start creating our own reality. But even this presents many lessons through which to work

Hi Amysenthia I could have written what you did. I have been taling about Re-incarnation for 50 goddam years as I said in my OP. I don't disagree with what you said. What you have said above is what you or I myself would have said and I have been saying for years. What I am saying now is I am questioning the reasons for it and the "supposed" rules, none of which in my mind make any sense at all.

The best way I can answer this question is that we self impose these rules before incarnating again in order to not let past lives interfere with this time around. Although our base "essence" reincarnates, each go round is unique to itself. Imagine the pain that is felt during this life when one loses someone close, in some cases it takes years to recover. If you have the memories of all the people you have known that are no longer with you now how could one function in such grief. It is not until we are further down the path and our souls have ripened to true knowledge that we are permitted to see all our lives. This is what I believe is experienced by the ascended masters. The fruit does not drop from the tree until it has reached its full ripeness. So we do not see all the truths until we are truly ready to realize that we are truly "immortals' and can live a life unattached to the play that we act out on this stage of existence.

In my experience, it has been healing to know about previous incarnations, even if I was sad in them. In Brian Weiss's books about regression, when people see what happened in previous lives, it is always healing, positive and beneficial even if that experience was a sad one.
I suspect that the idea that these things have been kept from us for our own good - the churches teach us that we have a veil of forgetfulness for our own good - is just a way of keeping us in ignorance and delaying our awakening.

There is much truth to this. That's what I meant by each incarnation in unique. Our divine essence can be omnipresent like the source we come from. Time in its linear way only exists in this dimension.

I have no answer to this, I was putting it up here with reincarnation questions.

I mentioned the Adyshanti video because he describes how he saw all his past lives happening simultaneously as this one in the present, yet he was able to step into each life and resolve the confusion, his karma, that he had carried for each life time.

My first thought was that now he has awakened he has resolved his karma and yet he also says that in some of the past lives he was doing similar spiritual teachings. So did he wake in those lives? Was he confused still after his awakenings in those lives and waited for this life to have it resolved? Or was it because he woke in this lifetime and was able to resolve the confusion in the other life times, that he was able to wake up and become a spiritual teacher in those life times?

As Amysenthia said, you can't think of this in terms of linear time, as in one life after another.

My own personal experience is that I was here before this body - that's clearly been seen but no detail of past lives (yet).

I really haven't any answers but what I do have is a memory.
Off course it is now just a memory of remembering, but when I was a child it was as clear as day
I was in my mothers womb, I rembermber the red glow, the throbbing. Not wanting to be born ,fighting against it, wanting to go back. Feeling the suffering, the pain of the world outside. I heard voices very firmly saying " you said you would" reminding me of my willingness to be here and that there was no going back!
The suffering I felt was not necessary my own and I used to think it was a future event but now I'm not so sure. I'm beginning to think it was the suffering of the earth and the beings apon it i was feeling.
I do feel I have had previous lives, why we can't remember I'm not sure, maybe knowing we are eternal spirt beings would inhibit our learning here. Maybe being here excelerates our souls learning.

I have considered this idea Jenci. Thanks for the reminder.
I think feel that we have to understand ONE incarnation first. When we can do this the multiple incarnations simultaneously follow easier in our minds. On the other hand if we entertain the idea that we are having thousands or even millions of incarnations at the same time is confusing the orchestra of it all.

Figuring out the mechanics of the game through personal effort and applying the knowledge gained through this is actually what it takes to eventually wake up from the dream that is existence, I find.

What choice do I speak of? All of them. We are always in a position of choice even if we think we are not
and some people don't realize that some choices are made on a soul level, one's higher high self
that is orchestrating the play... and I suppose this is why some people feel that they have no choice... but their oversoul does,
and this aspect of self is in master control.
Where am I going next?
I cannot say for sure but I think you mean where am I going after death of this body, right?
Im pretty certain that I will be here again on planet Earth, which is OK for me.
I have been working on creating my next life from this one. .... a novel concept, no?
When you start to realize that you have been here many times and that your soul is a continuous event
that does hold memory of what is veiled in the current life, you start to understand that each live is responsible for the nature of
lives that follow it... hence you do have the power to dream and imagine and call in exactly what you want in the next life as well
as in this one and this becomes more true as you acknowledge and reside in contact with the oversoul, or your highest high self.

The illusion of death does not stop you in your continuity.
My focus of attention to creating my future self is derived from an
understanding of what I need to learn which also indicates why I would reincarnate.
I suppose these lessons could be learned somewhere else, but I am comfortable here even with all the trials
and screwed up politics and social issues.
