I think the footage is real but the craft could be easily remote controlled model.

I swear that thing was flying over the Davidson/Randolph County line area in NC this afternoon. Always looking at the sky watching planes whenever go outside to smoke. Couple hours ago was watching a few jets go by noticeing how short the trails were when saw what looked just like video pass higher than the jets with absolutely no trail behind it. It was 3-4 times longer and 2-3 times fatter than the jets nearby. Thought maybe was one of those cigar ufo's. Kind of odd to see that then find myself seeing it here on PA. Now got goosebumps and ears are ringing typing this-Guess it's time to go have a smoke and watch the sunset.

Looks like a remote control drone - Predator Family - or as Vibrations stated a model plane.

damn shame you didn't have a camcorder. Weird coincidence huh? or was it a remote control toy or something as the others put it?
