Damon T. Berry, is an American film director, screenwriter, and producer best known for writing and directing “The Knowledge Of The Forever Time”. A documentary film series that has completely rewritten the history of mankind… it explores and reveals ancient knowledge in a way that no one ever has before.

Damon began his professional career as a radio broadcaster and then accepted a position with The Walt Disney Company where he would learn the art of script writing and movie making.

While visiting the ancient pyramids in Egypt he experienced a powerful transformation of psyche and self, and this experience was so life altering that he returned to the United States and began writing.

He created the film series “The Forever Time”… One through eight… Each episode is called, “An Invitation”; as each episode is an invitation to a new age of man, a new age of earth, and the age of enlightenment.

Tonight we will discuss the completion of the series and how it has transformed him and what the message means to all of humanity.

Thieme has published hundreds of articles, dozens of short stories, five books with more coming, and has delivered hundreds of speeches. His pre-blog column, "Islands in the Clickstream," was distributed to thousands of subscribers in sixty countries before collection as a book in 2004. When a friend at the NSA told him, "The only way you can tell the truth [that we discuss} is through fiction," he returned to writing short stories, one result of which is "Mind Games," a collection of nineteen stories about anomalies, infosec, professional intelligence and edgy realities. More edgy realities are illuminated in the recently published and critically extolled “UFOs and Government: A Historical Inquiry” to which he contributed, a 5-year research project using material from inside the military and intelligence communities to document government responses to the phenomena from WW2 to the present. Los Alamos National Lab, and the US Secret Service. His work has been taught at universities in Europe, Australia, Canada, and the United States, and he has guest lectured at numerous universities. He addressed the reinvention of “Europe” as a “cognitive artifact” for curators and artists at Museum Sztuki in Lodz, Poland, keynoted “The Real Truth: A World’s Fair” at Raven Row Gallery, London, and keynoted Code Blue in Tokyo with “Fiction is the Only Way to Tell the Truth: Life in the National Security State.”

Exo-Life Hangout | Detecting Stellar Civilizations Using Waste Heat Signatures

Can we find stellar civilizations by looking for their waste heat? New research suggests that it is possible, and practical.

Earth-like civilizations generate heat from the energy that they utilize. The thermal radiation from this heat can be a thermodynamic marker for civilizations. Here we model such planetary radiation on Earth-like planets and propose a strategy for detecting such an alien unintentional thermodynamic electromagnetic biomarker. Astronomical infrared (IR) civilization biomarkers may be detected within an interestingly large cosmic volume using a 70 m-class or larger telescope. In particular, the Colossus telescope with achievable coronagraphic and adaptive optics performance may reveal Earth-like civilizations from visible and IR photometry timeseries’ taken during an exoplanetary orbit period. The detection of an alien heat signature will have far-ranging implications, but even a null result, given 70 m aperture sensitivity, could also have broad social implications.

Hubble Just Discovered A Comet-Like Binary Asteroid Between Mars & Jupiter

NASA's Hubble Space Telescope helped an international team of astronomers find that an unusual object in the asteroid belt is, in fact, two asteroids orbiting each other that have comet-like features. These include a bright halo of material, called a coma, and a long tail of dust. Hubble was used to image the asteroid, designated 300163 (2006 VW139), in September 2016 just before the asteroid made its closest approach to the Sun. Hubble's crisp images revealed that it was actually not one, but two asteroids of almost the same mass and size, orbiting each other at a distance of 60 miles.

Asteroid 300163 (2006 VW139) was discovered by Spacewatch in November 2006 and then the possible cometary activity was seen in November 2011 by Pan-STARRS. Both Spacewatch and Pan-STARRS are asteroid survey projects of NASA's Near Earth Object Observations Program. After the Pan-STARRS observations it was also given a comet designation of 288P. This makes the object the first known binary asteroid that is also classified as a main-belt comet.

The fact that 2006 VW139/288P is so different from all other known binary asteroids raises some questions about how common such systems are in the asteroid belt.

Asteroid Will Fly By Earth @ 0.4 Times The Distance To The Moon on September 23rd

Asteroid 2006 SR131 will fly by Earth at a very close distance of 0.4 LD on September 23, 2017. It belongs to the Apollo group of asteroids and has an estimated diameter between 10 and 16 meters.

For comparison, asteroid that exploded some 29.7 km (18.5 miles) above Russian city of Chelyabinsk on February 15, 2013, damaging over 3 000 buildings and injuring over 1 500 people (mostly by broken window glass), had an estimated size of approximately 20 m (65 feet). Its light was brighter than the Sun, visible up to 100 km (62 miles) away.

Chelyabinsk asteroid was undetected before its atmospheric entry, in part because its radiant was close to the Sun.

Asteroid 2006 SR131 was discovered at Mt. Lemmon Survey on September 26, 2006 and It will flyby Earth at a speed (relative to the Earth) of 8.8 km/s.

According to ESA the space rock has an arc length of 7 days (First observation 2006-09-26 - Last observation 2006-10-03) and it is unobserved for 4006 days. It's also in ESA's risk list table.

Three Hundred Asteroids To Be Explored By A Fleet Of Nanosatellites

The more that planetary astronomers study asteroids, they more they’re realizing just how varied and different they can be. Some, like 16 Psyche are made of solid nickel and iron, while others are made of rock. Some asteroids have been found with moons, rings, and some icy objects really blur the line between comet and asteroid. In order to truly understand their nature, it would take dozens or maybe hundreds of individual missions on the scale of Rosetta or New Horizons.

More Surface Ice On Mercury Than Previously Thought Says New Study

Back in 2012, scientists were delighted to discover that within the polar regions of Mercury, vast amounts of water ice were detected. While the existence of water ice in this permanently-shaded region had been the subject of speculation for about 20 years, it was only after the Mercury Surface, Space Environment, Geochemistry, and Ranging (MESSENGER) spacecraft studied the polar region that this was confirmed.

60 Years Since Sputnik

Sixty years ago, Sputnik became the first satellite in space and changed the world forever.

Launched by the Soviet Union on 4 October 1957, this shiny orb kick-started the space race, and opened up the heavens for mankind to explore.

To mark the occasion ESA Euronews arranged access to the private museum of RSC Energia, the Russian state company that actually built the world’s first satellite, officially called Sputnik-1. Hanging in this Moscow treasure trove of pioneering space probes is one of the original Sputnik flight spares, built in 1957. Compact, at just over 80 kilogrammes, its polished surfaces and distinctive antennae are now unmistakable - look at this satellite, and the first word in your mind is 'Sputnik'.

Rogue Planet Spotted? Massive Nearby Celestial Object Baffles Astronomers

Astronomers using ESO’s Very Large Telescope and the Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope have identified a body that is very probably a planet wandering through space without a parent star.

This is the most exciting free-floating planet candidate so far and the closest such object to the Solar System at a distance of about 100 light-years.

An international team of astronomers has recently investigated a mysterious object designated CFBDSIR 2149-0403 in order to reveal its true nature. The object is assumed to be a young isolated planetary-mass object or a high-metallicity low-mass brown dwarf.

CFBDSIR 2149-0403 was detected in 2012 as a possible member of the AB Doradus moving group. After its discovery, it was classified by the researchers as a unique T-type isolated planetary-mass candidate. However, due to the lack of convincing evidence supporting the hypothesis that CFBDSIR 2149-0403 formed as a planet and was subsequently ejected, the scientific community does not exclude the possibility that it could be a low-mass brown dwarf.
