See a benefit to both sides. Some of the greatest videos on youtube were taken down by copyright laws and that was a loss to us all yet seen how others take my research material and interpret what they wanted of them, dilluted the source and collected advertizing revenue on the work which didn't seem right. So I see a benefit, if this law protects ones personal research.
