Eclipse Tomorrow

the eclipse happens in Gemini, so we all get to have some aspect of being of two minds. the light twin and the dark twin.

also, today, Uranus moves from retrograde motion to forward motion, all under the effects of the eclipse.

expect sudden shocking emotional aspects and bouts of confusion and change along those lines.

to top it off, Uranus reversing itself to proper forward motion, is doing it at 0.39 degrees Aries, the first degree of Aries.

Aries is ruled by mars, the action fire sign,and is known for acting, not known for thinking.


This is the barest and thinnest post possible, on the explanation of what is 'going down' in the world of astrology. Astrology is critical to understand if one wants to know the depths of what they are and how this world operates.

If one does not understand this, then they are condemned, in some ways, to be dragged around by an unseen collar and coloration of themselves ...and their blending of and with the world at large.

So.... understand the unfolding of these past few days and how the peak of it is coming now, at this eclipse.

Whether one understands it or not, is secondary to the fact of recognizing the depth of the manipulation of the self by the self, and the world at large, it's colorations and cycling turning/shifts.

Astrology tells the tale.

Recognizing this manipulation, manifestation and direct involvement of the self with the world and universe is critical.

It is part of a dance we all swing to, in our own swirls and shifts.

In the eclipse, it reaches crescendo, it reaches peak, like a freak wave in the ocean, or peak moment.....

It is multi-layered, it is within us and outside of us, this dance..like the multiple layers of dreams in the last action scene of the film 'Inception'..which took about an hour to explain, as a part of the film..

See it for what it is, and then, maybe then, calm will return in some form....as some form of knowing is taking place, instead of reaction.

And as I post this, the local sirens wail...as I hit the moment exactly....of and on...one of the minor peaks.

I am really feeling this coming energetically. I cannot express the energy I am experiencing in highs and lows. It's like bipolar (I am not bipolar but understand the symptoms) at the same time feeling highs and lows. I am having to really stay in the NOW and focus on centering and high vibrational energy. I have had some whammies today that if I do not focus could really upset my apple cart, so I am going to focus energetically. Let's lift each other up, hold each other in highest respect and love.

Same here. The usual eclipse issue for me, as of recent.

I build the energy....and it gets sucked out. At least that is what it feels like.

Uranus is at a standstill. The higher vibration of Mercury, the planet of humanity, as a group consciousness. Standstill..means 'most potent'. But in the act of changing directions.

Clarity is shifting, and expanding.

I have a high level of Uranian influence in my life and expression. So bad that right now I'm on a combination of Percoset and ibuprofen, and it's cutting right through it.

ooooohhh yeah. I agree. It's a doozy.

Helmets and foxholes. Just to be safe. I wonder where it will be. But... as Ulli said, she tried to predict Uranus for folks, with regard to doing their charts..and it would never gel into the right answer, ever. The Teflon planet ---any attempt to predict outcomes....would just...slide off.

Only one thing can be noted. That the degree (of Aries where it sits) is very 'angry semtex' like, due to the combined influences.

Could this explain why I just got totally pissed off with my 16 yr old daughter who was not where she was supposed to be for school pick up but was instead behind the school standing too closely to a boy I did not know? Talk about seeing red! This scorpio had some words with her daughter!

If I for example, had a son, I'd be wearing diapers from the time he was about 13 to the age of about 20-22. I'd need them, from all the times he'd make me crap myself. I don't even want to think of what it would be like to have a daughter with these genetics. My sister had two sons. She tried to keep herself sane with a bit of limited and controlled drinking (wine) in the evenings and taking a sort of Buddhist view on it all.

I most definitely think my own background plays into it. I don't trust boys as far as I can throw them, and for good reason! My daughter is flirting with disaster, breaking my rules, and I guess my mother had it easy because I was in boarding school from 10th to 12th grade due to the Saudi's kicking non-Saudi's out of the kingdom after 9th grade. I expect my daughter to be where she is supposed to be, and I expect her to use her friggin brain dagnabbit!

Ok, breathing again... thanks for the mirror.

Edit: and if I were going to break the rules, I was smart enough to not be standing where I could easily get caught! I'd be where I was supposed to be at pick up time, but might have skirted the rules prior, but I weighed the cost of getting caught, and trust me, she did not do that today! Maybe she wants to get caught.

Hi Carmody,

I am an ignoramus on this subject so please forgive me for sounding like one ... but if someone (me) is an Aries in both their Sun and Moon signs, is there anything they (me) should be aware of or look out for during this eclipse and if so when exactly? Sorry if this relates to tabloid astrology and is annoying. I apologise, but looking at your thread and seeing the comments about Aries made me a little nervous! I realise that this is a huge subject that I know nothing about. I have today taken a huge fork in the path of my life, and would be very grateful if anyone could advise me on this matter as things have been very upsetting already and if I could possibly lessen any celestial brunt I would obviously rather. Thanks.
