Default Coming to terms with Ascension religion and David Wilcock hysteria

For me there is a problem that I am sensing, and I do believe that it has stemmed from the very beginning when I witnessed what happened on the interview. DW conveyed so much fear. He seemed to be holding onto the great secret and he was scared to death now because he might be tortured. Then in the middle of all this fear and such, he plugs his book along with Kerry talking about it, and his website. He goes back to the threats, and anon does his spiel. I just couldn't help but feel I had seen this all before. Most of you have read my take on things on the original DW threat thread, so I won't rehash it all. But, I had to think, what bothered me so much? I mean, I really did not care if DW was crying or peeing his pants in fear because I know what it feels like to be in an unusual situation and stress takes over.

I once laughed inappropriately during a very stressful and yes, very public situation. I won't go into details, but I was young, and it was very public, like on the news, and I left my home state for a year over it to let it all die down. In the middle of it, I found myself laughing and it did not make sense. Of course, I was in fifth grade and figure I handled it all fairly well. So, again, I did not take issue with DW's emotions.

I watched detached and listened closely. I watched and waited, and of course nothing happened. He did not do what he said, and I voiced all my issues on that thread, and people came out for pages attacking me and others for being insensitive, for being disrespectful. They were disgusted with our behavior, and ridiculed us for voicing what we saw, how it looked, and facts we noted. I was perplexed because I have known you all on here. I love the Oneness message, I love the truth message that we are so aware of what is happening in major media, our governments stealing from us, the lack of healthy food, and abuse of big pharma etc.. Some of you have read my words sharing my spiritual views and such, and should understand that I care deeply and want peace, but watching what I saw did not look honest. And the reaction I saw from members here threw me for a loop. I have pondered these things, and I have come to a conclusion.

So many of you come from a Christian background which you have let go. That is fine. Follow your heart and path, that is not my issue. I see comment after comment ridiculing things of a Christian nature on alternative forums, and yes, on this forum. It's open season to make fun of the Jesus freaks, and the ignorant masses who follow this "religion" as you all call it. Again, follow your paths, and some of you state you have no God, no religion, and that you are God because we are all God and we are all one. I just wonder then, why you would be so mad at David calling David a crybaby and pissing in his pants? If we are all one, then we are all processing this world together, and learning together, and eventually in the oneness and fullness of time, we shall all see, so why the hatred of anyone questioning David's actions? Of cries of, "you are so negative" or "Why are you attacking David haven't you ever been scared?" when that was not what most were talking about in regards to the interview.

I saw a lot of people made uncomfortable with my words questioning what I saw. Attacking me and others for questioning the truth of it. For questioning David's true motives, and the response so often is, what does that matter? David's message is so important! David saved my life with his words of wisdom, he has taught me so much! David is doing his best and he never said he was a hardened warrior, leave him alone! It's like David's actions and motives don't matter because of his message of oneness, peace, ascension is what matters, and your views don't! You know what I finally realized? What I finally pegged that was bothering me?

Many of you have created a new religion of worshipping the new teacher. You have found your peace in what David says, even though you admit (well most of you do) that it's been said before by quite a few people. But, for some reason, many of you who most vociferously defended DW and attacked me seem to me to have created a new religion. The David Wilcock ascension of self religion. Your spirits loudly proclaimed, "Damned be the truth, we like the message and he is our new messiah!" It appears to me that my messages caused pain to some because they brought into question this Messiah / Guru, and how full of wisdom and light he really is. I mean after all, if it was a marketing trick is he any different than any of those televangelists who disgust you so much? Something deep within I think has caused your visceral energetic reaction to anyone who finds David's act on Kerry's show to be just that, an act!

David has made so many false predictions with dates and events to happen in the past, and no one cares. Oh, I love the explanation that because we were talking about blah blah blah it did not happen and therefore David cannot have been wrong, why in fact he saved thousands of lives by merely bringing the upcoming catastrophe to our attention. And, gee we did not ascend yet, 11/11/11 came and went and nothing happened, but it has in astral it's just not here yet! I wonder what in the hell David is going to say when December 21, 2012 comes along and nothing happens? Maybe he needs to make the most of it now. Maybe in secret he's hoping dear God that something happens between now and then because he and other alternative guru types have pumped up this time period so much who would listen to them again if nothing happens? So, it's the new religion that bothers me. In the vacuum of no religion our spirit creates a new one that fits what we like and believe.

Sure there is truth in it, isn't there always? No one is going to follow someone who always lies, so you better tell the truth at least 50% of the time or is it 51% of the time because I remember David saying as long as you are service to others at least 51% of the time then you can be service to self 49% of the time and still ascend! That's great news! I can be a perfect prick, manipulate you 49% of the time as long as I do something nice the other 51% of the time. I can see why so many would like this new path, there are no absolutes, right or wrong, just pick your percentage today, and make up for it later. I say this with no malice. I say this actually in a lot of positive heart felt energy, and I hope it is understood as that.

David is a gifted speaker. He's regurgitates others work very well. As long as he gives credit where credit is due that's great. I don't care how much money he makes. I was bothered by his manipulating my friends here, but you know what, I'm not anymore. I've learned another thing or remembered another spiritual principle I learned a long time ago. You all actually know what's going on, but it fills a need within you. It gives you peace, makes you happy, and helps you and really you're all adults and if you don't mind being lied to and manipulated as long as he makes you feel good, then what do I care. Oh, DW is not the only one doing this game in the alternative arena. Just remember that as you look sadly upon the deluded Christians living lives dedicated to the lies of the church, that it's easy to be fooled into such things when it makes you feel good.

A pictures worth a thousand words, so these two videos should be worth a million:

The reason I included the Saul and Jesus clip is that it illustrates a sense of "To hell with the truth" the people need this!" attitude which is taking over quite a few in the alternative thinking areas. Saul was using a message, he was lying, and in this clip Jesus is ticked about it. I definitely do NOT want this thread derailed on the Saul vs. Jesus message as that is not what my thread is about. There is another very good thread dealing with that topic and it is quite heated as well. People get very upset when something takes on a religious meaning, and thus the point of my thread. Thanks though for the reply Truth4me.

    Here here!

I would lump forums in general into this category.

As long as it doesn't hurt others, it's all good.

Unfortunately, Christianity has destroyed most indigenous "savage" cultures that they have come in contact with. I once designed conceptual VFX sequences for a Christian (TBN) movie called Megiddo: Omega Code II (about the apocalypse). They took me to Italy for a month and all I had to do was design the destructive light of God, design hell, and drink heavily. It was great! After all, half of my crew was gay, including two of the stars! It was a blast!

Then TBN tried to hire me on another job called "Africa: Bringing light to the DARK continent."

I passed. Especially when I found out that Paul Crouch Senior and Junior are womanizing alcoholics that steal old ladies' money.

But, more power to them... whoever follows them has chosen that path; therefore, it is their right! I am not attached to their decisions.

Practicing the Law of Allowance can be a very empowering experience!

Yes, it can. And may I say I am very sorry for the pain caused in the name of the Messiah so wrongly by those who used it for their own gain. Please forgive me,

    Thank you and much love,

I've been sorely tempted to reply to you on one of the multitude of related threads but decided to just let it go and continue observing.

However, I log on and see that you've started your very own self-justification, "look at me, look at me, look at me me ME" thread, so I'm going to tell you exactly what I think:

You have openly accused David of being a "crybaby". Your words not mine. These words give the lie to the claim you make in your patronizing, insincere message to Kerry about how you aren't judging David for the way he handles his emotions. If calling someone a crybaby isn't judgmental, then what is ?

You claim he was peeing his pants. Do you mind me asking how exactly you know this ? Is it an example of the "energy reading" you loudly boast of ?

Your talents as an energy reader don't appear to be very great to me. Whatever the veracity of the whole story, David was clearly NOT acting, he was genuinely scared for his life.
On the same topic - maybe you ought to hold a mirror up to your "energy reading" self. Were you to do so, you'd see that your energy is aggression. Pure, naked aggression. Not just here, but in the majority of the places you've been posting in the last 2 months. But of course you mask it all with claims of love and peace, and when someone dares to challenge you, you cry foul.

So, in short, you haven't been simply questioning truth and telling it like you see it, you've been on he attack.
You've chosen to open a new thread in order to attack more, while limply complaining about how misunderstood you are. That's why I'm accepting your invitation to give you my thoughts.

I shall resist the almost overbearing temptation to close off with an insincere claim that I'm not judging you and to wish you "have a nice day !"

I will add however that, as I said to you before, this is a forum where we aren't able to see each other, we can never be 100% certain what energy a person is putting into their message, and it's very very very easy for our typed words to be misinterpreted. So if you truly believe yourself to be misunderstood, I invite you to take the time to examine your writing style.

Excuse me, but how do you KNOW he was not acting? Please share proof of that. At what point did the sincere emotion stop and the manipulation of the crisis begin?

I can attest that I know he was crying, I never called him a crybaby. I said, his energy seemed that he was peeing in his pants. Of course I did not have a camera on his crotch, so don't be so rude. I said I would post on a different thread regarding my thoughts, and I have done so. If you do not care for it, so be it. Many people start their own threads, it is not a cry for "Look at me Look at me". I do believe you are the one transposing a hurt ego onto me. I am not hurt, I simply disagree with you, and this is not the first time.

I do not doubt I can be aggressive at times in my writing style, but if you will notice it is usually not until I am attacked for simply stating a view someone here takes exception to. I never call names or misrepresent what someone said too make them look bad. Please show me where I personally called David a Crybaby. I did say he was crying. Someone else accused him of being a crybaby and another accused him of crying like a girl which to me denotes a sexist attitude.

I hope you feel better having relieved yourself of this stress now.

    Much love,

    Serenity

Yes, we are all mirrors for one another. It's never a bad idea to keep that in mind. I am truly amazed at the amount of hatred that comes just from not liking what someone sees and shares. If you don't agree say so, but the vitriol is quite amazing. It's like I have commited heresy to some.

Ok, this thread is about my perception of a new religious type of attitude displayed by many in the alternative info community. I sat back for a while examining what I saw on the DW threat thread, and asked, what was really affecting me and after consideration, it was what I posted in the OP. You know what they say, "Never talk politics or religion" in polite company. Forums are not polite company as it were because people join them to discuss these sorts of things. I can see again, that just voicing my observation has created yet again immense emotional response to what I thought was a calm reasoned OP.

It seems some think it is perfectly ok to ridicule and attack me or other's whose viewpoints they don't like, and then when that person responds back mirroring that emotion then that person is labelled aggressive and it's their "writing style". If you do not want me to defend my views or a right to even share my views, then please do not set off ridiculing me, accusing me of things that imply massive ego, aggression, etc when it is not there in my post. Please do not misquote me either and attribute what someone else has said, that can certainly be considered ridicule to me.

I guess in some of the work I have done, I have seen people who were very upset to the point of being scared enough to wet their pants. If that one comment I made regarding my assessment of David's display of emotions is what has some of you so upset, then I apologize for upsetting you. For me it was just an assessment, not ridicule, but I can see where many would find it an unfair statement. I do not think it warrants pages of attacks, and it really has nothing to do with the OP. This thread, and why I started it is about the religious zeal with which I perceive some view people like David Wilcock and others who are on the front lines as it were in the alternative info community. I do not want this thread to digress into what the DW is under attack thread is about. That's why I started a new thread.

By posting your views, you invite discussion and of course opinion and judgment.

    Actually Viral,

I am quite calm. Marioposafe seems to be the one who felt the need to attack. Where was my aggression in the OP? He may not like my writing style, but where was the aggression in my OP? He does not like the subject and therefore he became aggressive and accused me of doing exactly what he did. Now, do you have any thoughts on the near religous fervor some seem to have and thus respond to anyone who questions those "leaders" in our community as if they have committed heresy and should be stoned?

Posting opinions, even judging, is fine. But attacks on a poster him-/herself are not acceptable.

Ok I have to put my two cents in here. It is amazing the amount of hoopla this DW death threat thingy has created. I for the record just take it all at face value. I have no reason to be a true believer either way as to whether the interview was a put on or not. His emotion sounded real to me and sometimes as someone else pointed out on one of the other myriad threads devoted to this topic, the body just takes over and alot of emotion gets released. But maybe you are right Unified Serenity in your suspicions that is wasn't genuine. You have a right to your feelings as does everyone else.
But I must say that I think it's a bit presumptuous for you to say that the people that are coming to David's defense are making him thier new religion. That he is thier messiah. To state that that is what is the reality for so many other people is condescending.

You say that so many of us here have let go of christianity and you say you're fine with that. Are your really?

    Hi Loveisall,

Yes, I am honestly fine with whatever path another chooses. I did not post this to make fun of anyone. I did not post this to ridicule anyone. Why would comparing the zeal for which people defend David to the zeal for which some people in religions defend their faith bother people? It really did /does appear that to question David's actions far past or recent past brings out an incredibly emotional reaction from people. David is not the only one either this happens around. Some are this way about David Icke, or even Bill or Kerry, or name another popular person in the community who does interviews etc..

I have watched this happening for a few years, and as I have watched the recent situation it occurred to me that I had seen this all before and it's when people debate their religion. Oh, it could also be like an almost worshipful attitude people had about Obama when he ran for President a few years ago. Women were fainting, people were highly charged if anyone said anything remotely evaluating what he said. It was as if you had committed blasphemy! So, it is not with contempt that I bring this up, but with curiosity. For some who seem so open minded they react very closed minded when questions are raised. It is very puzzling to me really.

I didn't feel that at all while reading her posts. Serenity seems sharp, focused and very aggressive. I like all the different styles. I'm not on here to "get along" with everyone. Hashing it out makes all of us stronger and I believe, brings us closer to the truth. DW has placed himself out there and his actions affect and have affected many people...and there are consequences...and he will have to deal with it. He's a big boy. If he can't handle the stress, then he will fade away. However, I get the feeling he's setting the stage for a new movie project...

What I can't believe is all the passes Duncan is getting...1000 lbs. deadlift?...two 4th generation super soldiers lifting a tank? He makes David look as factual as a dictionary!!!

Ok, I get what your'e saying. That does clarify for me the point you are trying to make and I totally agree with how the whole cult of personality thing can get so ridiculous and unhinged. But sometimes people just feel strongly about something. And that's all it is. You feel strongly, they feel strongly. It all comes down to difference of opinion and how strongly we feel the need to defend it. But there really is no need to defend it. I say can we all just let it go? And in the immortal words of Rodney King "can't we all just get along".
